Amazing hotel, with amazing staff, and great location. We’ve stayed several times and will stay again.

Lovely staff
Nice room, cleaned every day with fresh towels & bed linen changed every 2 days
Food in buffet was ok. Plenty of choice but could be lukewarm
Food in Italian & South American a la carte restaurants was excellent
Good range of wines & cocktails

Overall The resort was wonderful.
Great facilities, nice beach and close to the old and new town.
Didn’t realise that our section was full of young kids.
In hindsight we should’ve booked the property next door - adults only.
The staff were all sensational and extremely accommodating at all times.

The hotel is good but the water pools are frozen, we were not able to enter the pool at the beginning of September
The kitchen staff and chefs are excellent and very considerate

The hotel itself was lovely, beautiful room. More family orientated than anticipated and as a couple travelling we would have appreciated an adults only area. There was a smaller pool but we tried to use this twice and both times, before 8am, all beds had been reserved by towels which was really disappointing as the hotel has a no reservation policy but this was obviously not enforced. Air con only went to 22 and would have liked it just slightly cooler bearing in mind the high outside temp. Despite being all inclusive, and having a swim up room, the mini bar only had soft drinks so rather than walking to the bar we would pay at the mini market instead. The al a carte restaurants were fantastic, especially the Sushi one. Breakfast service was sometimes slow so that our coffees didn't arrive until after we'd eaten.

When arrived, the gentleman that checked us in was amazing.
After that every other staff was very average.
When asked to the barista how was your day? Boring was he’s response.
The lifeguard at the kids aqua park had no interest in keeping kids safe. Example my son was stuck in the tube screaming, he couldn’t hear it but my husband that was walking towards the aqua park could. Obviously I was running around trying to work out which tube he was in. When I approached him about the matter, he had a chip on he’s shoulder.
Food is so average and not enough traditional options.
It’s over crowded and not enough staff.
I wouldn’t rate this as a 5 star experience at all.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff. Enjoyed our stay there.

The exterior of the hotel and pool area is stunning and we had pur own private beach front. So you didnt have to worry when heading into the sea.
The staff were great and extremely helpful, however I felt that they could hire more waiting staff to speed up the process of getting drinks etc.
What stopped me from giving 5 stars, was that the lift in the main building kept on breaking so we'd have to take the stairs alot . The Aircon in the bedroom, was pretty weak and we could only bring it to 22degress.
But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

The hotel was better 2023.
The hotel advertise that they have the a la carte restaurants. We stayed for four days and was allowed to have ONE meal at the a la carte. IF we wanted to make reservations for more, only lunch was available and we had to pay full price for the food. Even though the restaurants were empty at lunch time.
We stayed at the hotel last year as well and this was new for us. Last year we had all our lunches at the a la carte, without making any reservations, and we had 3 dinners (stayed for 4 nights) at the a la carte. This was the reason we booked the hotel this year.
Also this year, all dishes was not included in the AI even though they had the same price level as other dishes.
The breakfast buffe is good, but the dinner buffe is 3*, not 5*.
All in all, the service is made to make it easy for the hotel and not with the guest as the number one priority.

Very unsatisfied with dining options and reservations. I was able to book only 2 dinners out of 8 night stay. All other days was buffet dining and food was blend at best. Cleaning service was awful only did beds and took garbage out. Did not clean floors or anything else. One day they left garbage by coffee station and didn’t clean.

Great bar staff. Emmanuel, Chira, kyriaki were great at main bar and vasillias at beach bar. Disappointed with cooperation of managerial staff when friends bag got stolen & did little to nothing to help sort/find

Thought the Helea hotel was lovely, really nice and modern hotel with great facilites and staff.
I would happily give this resort 5 stars but as a result of the food buffet and the sun lounges i give Helea 3 stars.
Upon arrival we were told we only were allowed two reservations to use at the A la Carte restaurants which was pretty gutting as I wouldn’t have booked knowing this before hand. As a result we had to eat in the buffet restaurant 4/6 nights where the food was terrible. This was a shame since the food in the a la carte restaurants were incredible, especially at Tsouka and Lerma.
Regarding the sun lounges, it states residents aren’t allowed to reserve them yet everyone still does. People will go down in the early hours of the morning to do so therefore it was hard to find space. I’m on holiday to relax, not to wake up around 6am to go down and put a towel down on a sun lounge …
Other than this the hotel was lovely, really aesthetically pleasing and perfect location on the sea with the best views.
Thank you, and I hope you take this feedback with action.

Friendly cleaning staff, lifeguards and staff at the restaurants. But the rest of the staff at the reception were absolutely awful. Very bad customer service. This hotel has to upgrade their systems in so many ways, it's not even close to how they are advertising their hotel. Food was nothing special either, except for the restaurants you have to book and are lucky to get a table.

Beautiful resort, spacious rooom
- we booked a junior suite with swim up pool and sea view. The pool wasnt actually a swim up pool which was a bit disappointing, but it was nice having a quieter pool
- Lots of food and drink options throughout the day, including the pool and beach bars, the crepes were delicious
- Beach always had lounges available, sunrise was beautiful, we woke up to see it daily

Lovely resort with beautifully decorated and furnished suites. Main restaurant on resort offers halal chicken and meat which was perfect for us.

Very nice hotel, but service needs to be improved, long waiting time etc.

The hotel was overall good but not worth 5 stars in my opinion. A lot of things were excluded from the all in package. The staff was very kind though.

Honestly so beautiful and elegant. I cried leaving this property as I didn’t want to leave
From Alex the Supervisor to Eleni & Joanna by the beach bar, everyone was so pleasant and kind
For context I’m mid 20’s and my mother is in her late 50’s and we both loved it so much.
The wellness spa was amazing ! Incredible ! Staff there were amazing too.
There were so many ways they made this stay special like surprising my mum with a birthday cake and other free things just because.
Everyone is so polite and lovely. Although it is a family resort, I didn’t feel disturbed by the kids at all.
Infact it was nice to have the kids around as they added a lovely touch to the resort. The resort also made adequate provision for the kids.
I ate and ate till I couldn’t eat anymore ! The food is incredible. Everyone at the beach bar knew me by face and name before I left; that’s how much I loved the food
The drinks are superb and I was spoilt for choice ! I feel like I was in heaven ! Thank you so much Helea !
I also enjoyed the shops available and bought three stunning pieces from the jewellery shop.
Once again, thank you so much ! I’ll be back !!!

It was a very nice hotel I would said the food option is not the best but overall it’s nice resort to stay at they staff are great

This is not a modern hotel or one that has anywhere near enough facilities for the amount of guests. I will definitely not stay here again, nor would I recommend. Stay elsewhere.

Excellent hotel. Would definitely recommend. Can't wait to visit again.

Our stay was lovely. Our room was very comfortable and big. Staff were courteous although the buffet staff seemed a bit frazzled. Long hours and days I assume. The pools were wonderful and catered for all ages. All in all a wonderful holiday.

This is our 3rd stay at Helea and it is consistently great. Beautifully designed hotel, at a fantastic location, with a great staff and service. We enjoyed a wonderful welcome and a room upgrade. The hotel was at full capacity, but it was not felt at all (no long lines etc.). The facilities are well maintained and are suitable for all traveler types and the beach is perfect. Highly recommended.

I have to give a mixed review as sone areas were good, others disappointing. The room was not cleaned until late afternoon and the mini bar was not stocked on 4 occasions. There is no iron available which for a 5 star hotel I could not believe. You have to use the ironing service at the hotel. The specialist restaurants you have to book and despite doing this on check in I only had the option to book 2 as the hotel was so full. The corridors to the rooms were not hoovered for days and there was a cigarette butt the cleaners walked past that was there 3 days. Reception staff were mixed with 2 girls lovely but 2 couldn’t crack a smile and were downright rude and unfriendly. My husband even commented on the looks one would give me whenever I was in reception, maybe as I had to complain but I was justified. There was no upgrade available and no late checkout although we did get a room to shower in which was appreciated.
Now it wasn’t all bad, if the management could fix the above the place could be great. The restaurant staff work so hard especially at breakfast but three times we had to wait for a table to be laid as you find your own way so a few days we didn’t bother with breakfast. The staff are overworked here. In the Greek restaurant on a lunchtime however the staff and service were fab as they were in the other 2 speciality restaurants. The service in the Italian was outstanding. The drinks are good quality overall and good staff. Hotel is modern and a good design.

I’m not really sure where to start. The property itself is beautiful. The location is absolutely perfect. Close to a ton. We had a total of 4 rooms. The woman who checked me in, not once did she make eye contact. She said nothing to me other than “here are your room cards”. Got to the room and it was so hot you couldn’t breathe. I called down to the front and was told “well it’s hot out” we had to insist they send somebody up, they fixed the AC. 2 days later, we needed toilet paper, called for 2 days. No one showed up. Found an employee in the hall who went and got me some. House keeping never came. You can tell they were working very hard but short staffed. If they start at 1 end of the hall, 1 day, they should start at the other the next day IMO. The food in the Italian restaurant was terrible. And so was the service. My daughter got reprimanded by the staff for pouring her own water. “It was his job” but yet he was never around. He spent a lot of time at the tables on either side of us. One was getting more alcohol than us, the other spoke the same language he did, and they were joking and laughing and he kept rubbing one of the kids heads!? One elevator was out the whole time, took the stairs mostly because of the rolling power outages. Ate at the Buffet a lot, good selection of food. My favorite employee, Dora. She was always busting her tail, working so hard, and always had a smile on her face. I have so much more I want to review but not enough space here. Spa was A

Exceptional 10/10 resort! Great location near old town, beaches, and night life. Amazing amenities on the resort with multiple pools, gym area, spa, shops, areas for children, etc. staff were welcoming and friendly and there were many different food options availble. Had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this resort as it is newly renovated and stunning for Instagram photos

Had an okay stay at this resort! Personal try their best, especially at the restaurant they work hard and are friendly.
But no way near a 5 star. Food average, facilities between poor up to good/okay. It’s a bit of a fake construction where it’s all new but the feeling is that the hotel is like 10-12 years old.
Then when you have all inclusive you expect to have availability at all times. The lunch for example is only open for 2 hours and then it’s 4 hours until dinner. And then the bars…you’d have to stay in line forever every time you want something. Elevators are an absolute danger!!
For us we felt that we’d just go with it and enjoy our sets but wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
1.5
In general the hotel is very pretty with several pool areas and even a small water park for the little ones. Also rooms and the common areas are very aesthetically pleasing… perhaps those are the reasons the hotel still has five star status, which was totally misleading. The service is very poor and comes most of the time with an attitude. Every interaction seemed difficult and first answer was always no.
Ala carte restaurants were waste of time, serving low quality dishes and couldn’t example order cocktail (not even for an extra pay) or glass of milk for my toddler. Waitresses were disorganized mess, asking repeatedly same question after each other.
Lunch and dinner buffets were repeating a lot.
The cleanliness of the rooms meant mainly straightening the bedsheets leaving rest of the room dirty.
Also the hotel clearly had too many guests to keep things comfortable, example there was never enough sunbeds. It was forbidden to reserve a sunbed, but it was clear that majority of people did throw their towels on top of the sunbeds at morings to reserve them and the hotel did nothing to stop that. The hotel staff told us just to go and remove peoples belongings from unused sunbeds and bring the stuff to the reception, maybe this would be the staff’s job to do instead of putting their guests uncomfortable.
Overall I have never had this poor level of service in five star hotel and can not definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a true five star holiday.

From Day one to check out, the service was excellent and the experience was incredible. Fantastic hotel with gorgeous views and wonderful in design. The food from the buffet and A La Carte restaurants was sublime. Will definitely look to come back again!
