We usually stay at Homewood suites in other areas .
Birmingham is the best yet.
Very affordable especially for weekend.
It looked like some remodel if not it was best I have evet seen with homewood suites . I would not have any trouble using the really nice sofa rollout bed
The staff were fun and they had the fire pit
Going . Well decorated for Christmas

Service was far beyond any other hotel we have ever stayed at. Room was large and clean. Beds were comfortable, slept soundly. The General Manager was a wonderful and efficient manager. The total staff was extremely courteous and proficient. Loved the karaoke Wednesday evening. What a fantastic and thoughtful event. Thank you to all for a very enjoyable stay. Met some very interesting people at the hotel.
Best,

It was a good stay !!

We had a one bedroom suite, it was comfortable, allowed privacy and separation to work while the patient recovered. Very well located, safe parking, very nice staff and service. Will stay again!

The front desk was very rude to my roommates upon checking in. Everything looked fine until I went to bathroom and what looked like a bed bug was on the wall. Took pictures and took pictures to front desk and she blew it off saying looks like a bed bug like it was nothing.

Clean and Comfortable Hotel
5.0
Room was spacious and clean. Well stocked with essentials to prepare meals. Dishwasher and a stove top with full size frig in room and also had ceiling fan. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location perfect to UAB and Kirkland Clinic and restuarants. Coffee was not great but there is a cozy coffee parlor Bandido less than a minute walk from the suites. The Horchata is amazing there. Highly recommend staying here if you ever find yourself in Birmingham for an extended stay.

Breakfast, not able to find staff for plates or service, ask other employees for assistance. They didn't help and continued to serve breakfast for themselves. Stated they don't speak English and spoke to employees in Spanish, but still were not interested in helping.

It was good. The rooms were nice & clean. One of the front desk clerk could have had a smile😄 and been a little more friendly. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what. But I was there for surgery the next morning. I’m currently dealing with breast cancer. Sometimes just 😊 lift people 🆙

Room was very nice and clean. No soap in the shower and the shower dripped but that was the only negative.

The room was fantastic. Check in was easy and quick. Appreciated parking just behind hotel. But something the hotel could not control was the motorcycles and hot rods up and down the street with music blaring well into the night. My next stay I will ask not to be street side. Plus kids were running up and down my hall laughing and slamming doors. Was hard to go to sleep but the bed, bedding, and ceiling fan were great!

All staff were friendly and inviting. Extremely accommodating with having to extend our stay. Will definitely chose to stay at this property again. Thank you!

The Worst Hotel Experience I’ve Ever Had!
If you book through a third-party service like Expedia, be prepared for subpar treatment. This hotel clearly prioritizes direct bookings and treats other guests like second-class citizens.
The hotel’s website claims they offer on-site parking for $15 with limited availability, so we arrived early to secure a spot since my father is handicapped. At 4:30 PM, we were told parking was fully reserved. After speaking to the manager, she admitted they prioritize Hilton members and extended stay guests. After a lengthy discussion, she reluctantly gave us one parking decal for my father.
Once we parked, our room keys didn’t allow us entry through the back door. When I reported this issue, the staff casually said it “sometimes happens” and suggested the batteries might be dying. Right after, I watched two other guests use their cards with no issues. I had to go back to the front desk, where they finally reprogrammed our cards, allowing access to the back door. The inconvenience was brushed off as “unintentional.”
Despite booking two rooms on the same reservation, they placed us on different floors—one on the 4th and the other on the 7th—making our stay even more inconvenient.
To top it off, we noticed several hotel employees parking in handicapped spots, which is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of consideration for those who actually need them.

The manager Tracy is amazing. Remembered our names, very upbeat even sang karaoke at happy hour. She’s a real credit to the hotel.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Wednesday night reception with entertainment was a nice touch. Breakfast buffet was just OK.
The locations is great for UAB facilities and many eating choices

The parking costing 25- bucks should be advertised and the fact it is not in a real safe place to have to walk a quarter mile to retrive your vehicle!
