I was charged a deposit of $100 I was not made aware of this on the website. To me it seem like a nickel and dime thing but I was told I would get it back when I checked out. It’s been a few days since I’ve checked out but still nothing. And then I said on hold until at a certain time it just disconnects

Customer service was great, room huge and nice. Very comfy! Once the property has finished renovating it will be a awesome location aside from the one creepy guy.

It was okay what you should expect for the price

Was very bare and self sufficient just a very hard bed and bathroom with no hot water. Tv was the only thing compensating for the room altogether.

Clean updated room, but lacked essential amenities.
Did not come equipped with; chair at desk, telephone, clock, towels, soap, shampoo, & TOILETPAPER…..

The website should not promote this property. Drug addicts going on and out of rooms no lighting in the room. The property was filthy. Police was out there the whole time I was checking in to address the same issue. Expedia should not let them through with this false advertisement. I had to ask for a refund and they kept part of the refund and said the other portion goes back to Expedia. Not sure why with this property. Should close this down.

A bare-bones room. Bed was comfortable. Only one light in the main room -- switch by the door. Ice bucket but no cups.

The pictures on the website are not recent. They whole hotel is under renovation and a mess. The AC was falling out of the wall. The room smelled like smoke. There were cracked windows. Room was 85 degrees when we arrived

Absolute worst of the worst, walked out and went to another place

Trash at the door entrance, no lamps in the room only a wall mounted spotlight, drapes falling off the window, no table in the room, a rolling office chair, bare walls, no art work, $50 cash deposit required in addition to the Expedia payment, floor had not been vacuumed, no wash cloth or hand towel, front desk clerk had difficulty with English, no clock in the room. If I hadn’t been dead tired and it being late and having to be at the hospital to work at 7am I would have bolted after seeing the lobby. A homeless shelter would have been nicer.

Hotel needs some serious work. Hallways weren’t swept. Dirt and pieces of garbage on it. Room bathroom was dirty. Walls, outside of toilet and bath were all stained. Bed skirting was torn. Glad I was only stuck there one night.

There is not enough room to type in this box about this terrible stay. The worst hotel i have ever booked. Hotels.com should be ashamed to even have this hotel on their website. It is an old compound for the homeless, and the homeless never left!! The room was filthy. There was black hairs on my towels. The layer of filth on the doorway was disgusting. There was a layer of dust on the bed on the top of the back board. I tried to get my money back and they refused. The people were sleeping in the bushes out by our car.

We paid $582.00 for 2 nights of horrible conditions. The room was absolutely disgusting, included no hot water, no closet or nothing to hang clothes on! Room was filthy & the whole development should be inspected by the health Department m. I have never stayed at a hotel this deplorable in all my life!

This is an extremely rundown and dirty property. In addition they surprise you at check in by demanding a $50 all cash deposit. It was soooo bad I had to eat the expense and book another hotel because it was so sketchy and felt unsafe for my family.

This is an older property, and is in need of some upkeep. But overall the rooms were acceptable, the staff was extremely friendly, and it has a fun little lounge right on the lobby. For a parent visit in Tallahassee over parents weekend, it was a great place to come back to relax and enjoy having fun with other parents and karaoke

This was the only hotel available for such short notice on a game-day weekend, so I went for it. The pictures online don’t make it look bad. It is NOT what it seems. My room had a layer of saw dust from an obvious recent renovation, and was left as is. Upon asking for a fresh flat sheet, as mine had stains and hair on them, I was told that there were none to be given out after hours. My parents’ room had a gun shot hole in the mirror in the bathroom, no trash can, and a dirty foot print on a pillow. Upon trying to shower, there was no hot water, and we were told that we had to run our sink for 30 min to generate hot water, as someone had just run the laundry. I had booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, and somehow, the front desk only booked me for 1 night. I had housekeeping knocking at my door starting at 10:15 am on the 2nd day of my stay telling me to pay up at the front desk. I was right in the middle of trying to take a shower, and housekeeping knocked on my door 3 different times trying to get me out of a room that I had booked for that day. Very very frustrating, but I do have to say that the lady that originally checked me in was as nice as she could be. Also there was a nice family of raccoons invading the overflowing industrial-sized trash cans with old toilets littered about the parking lot.

I liked that it was available on FSU parents weekend for less than $500 a night. But I still paid $280 a night for this dive. You’ve got to be kidding me!
The deadbolt was missing and the door had markings from many accidents or breaking chipping away at the door. So unsafe. Thank gosh we are CCW experts.
The sink wouldn’t drain. There were smashed insect stuck to the mirror. The towels seemed clean. Like they just came out of the box of industrial towels that are used in a bar for cleaning. That exact “quality”.
No cups to rinse mouth. No anything in room except two double beds (we had reserved a king) and four two inch thick pillows. I pride myself in NOT exaggerating in these things so i promise, they were less than or equal to two inches thick. Stacked two and still had a crook in neck from bending down.
Pretty offensive odor in the room. Husband felt like it was incense. I feel it had to be trying to cover the smell of meth that was cooked there last week. Or maybe it was bleach overlying mildew. I don’t know.
Thank gosh there wasn’t a black light in the room…

Non smoking room with strong smoke odor. Room was filthy, cigarette burn holes in bedding, bathroom towel rack on the floor, toilet seat broken, open hole in door where peep hole should be. Given one towel for two bed room. Second towel requested was stained and looked dirty. Rusty water came out of faucet. We would have left immediately if there was another room in town anywhere to be found. And for this - we paid almost $500 for two night because it was parents weekend.

This place is disgusting!! I can’t even describe how horrible the place is. Mold, mildew, roaches, you name it.. this place should be shut down!!

It was the most disgusting Hotel I have ever stayed in. There were holes in the walls, the bathroom was just yuck, the toilet seat slid about, mold everywhere. The floors were slippery, yet sticky. We had a guy knock on our door to see if we had a fork so he could eat his ramen noodles. Had people ask my husband if he had drugs that he could sell them when he was out walking our dogs. They charged us $20 dollars per dog per day, and I can tell you our 2 dogs were better behaved then the humans staying there. We had to evacuate our home due to Hurricane Idalia. I wish I would have paid more and stayed elsewhere.

The rooms were dirty, and I walked into the room flicked the shades were open so I didn't turn the light on right away but after a little I closed the shades and turned the light on it stayed on for a couple of seconds then went out. I went and checked asked for a refund but after 20 minutes you can't get a refund back so I had to go the next day before check out to get the money back for that day

If you're looking for the cheapest motel in Tallahassee, you found it. My advice would be to spend a couple bucks more and book somewhere you've he.
I needed a last-minute room after unexpectedly stopping in TLH while traveling through. I booked the cheapest room and when I entered, it overwhelmed me with a stench that was a mix of human sweat, weed smoke, and strong cleaning products. The AC would not budge past the low setting. The walls were stained. The smoke detector was missing, with wires dangling in its place. The shower was missing a curtain. And the absolute final straw was when I looked at the bed and noticed there was no mattress cover. Just a flimsy sheet between me and the dingy mattress that has seen godknowswhat over the years.
I returned to the front desk, and the receptionist (I should mention all the staff I interacted with were very nice and professional) understood my concerns, and she bumped me to a room that had been recently renovated. That room was adequate - which is all I was looking for. Non-smoking, with a mattress cover, shower curtain, and smoke detector. My only issue with the new room was that there was barely any water pressure, and the shower was ice cold. Fine - I can bear with an issue or two for what I paid.
It also appears that there are people living long term in the motel, wandering shirtless around the premises, drinking from open containers in the parking lot, and openly smoking weed in the corridors. Spend $20 more elsewhere.
