My stay was exceptional at Eden Edge’s Lodge. The breakfast is much appreciated since most places in New Zealand do not offer breakfast as part of your stay.

Nice people, enjoyed staying there, highly recommended

Great pastries and fresh eggs and gorgeous property! Lovely community living space and kitchen. Decided to stay for 2 extra nights because we had such a warm welcome. Love the private bathroom which is why we normally would hesitate with shared living spaces, but the hosts have been great.

Beautiful place, amazing breakfast. We also had a car accident the night we were staying and needed taxis and then to hang around for a tow truck the following day. Eric and Barb were absolutely brilliant and super helpful!!

We liked our stay. Friendly owner operators great continental breakfast. Everything was great . Except cold showers . I asked was told people are using too much of the hot water. Tried 2 hours later still cold. I would suggest switching to a water on demand system this would solve the issue . Overall nice place.

The owner was very welcoming and his pre-stay information blurb was to-the-point without being overly informative. Rooms were well set out and the communal kitchen was well equipped and well-stocked for breakfast with plunger coffee and locally grown fruit, jams, eggs and baked goods. Unfortunately, I had to leave before I could partake!

We stayed one night while cycling The Great Taste Trail. Everything was superb from the warm welcome to check out: real coffee and A2 milk; fruit from the onsite orchard; breakfast eggs from the chickens; local bread and baked goods; home-made jams; lovely en-suite King room with Forest & Bird toiletries - the list goes on and on! Barbara and Eric are exemplary hosts, combining warmth with knowing how to allow space and privacy. We are locals who do not usually stay so close to home but we hope to shout ourselves another visit for R&R soon.

Eden's Edge Lodge was a blissful and peaceful place to stay as well as sit & relax on the deck in the afternoon. So much greenery & such magnificent herb shrubs growing around the place. The eggs, breads, honey & home made jams were also delish. We had 2 king size bedrooms which were very clean, spacious and included all the facilities required. Absolutely loved it.

Once arrived, was met by the welcoming and friendly host Barbara and Eric.
Were very accommodating to our circumstances, as we arrived early.
Showed us around the property and what they offered.
Great breakfast, the normal plus freshly baked scones and danish pastries, as well as homemade jams.
Room was very suitable, with comfortable bed. Even though we stayed one night, easy to stay longer.
Easy to highly recommend this place to stay.
