Great place to stay at a reasonable price. They spoiled us and did everything to make our stay amazing. They have some future developments with new rooms that will be very neat to check out. Would definitely stay here again!!

The room was small, but I was aware of that prior to coming. With a medium suitcase in the corner, there wasnt a lot of floor space. The bedding was lovely - sheets and bedspread were like brand new and very high quality. The bed was the most comfortable in all of NL! One of the reasons I came was because other guests had raved about the breakfast. I found out on the day I arrived that there was no proper breakfast as it was off season, so had to make do with frozen bread and jam. Overall it was clean and the bed was comfortable, but I was a bit disappointed regarding breakfast.

I would have given this place a 5 except for two things. At 6:45 there was a horrendous noise coming out of the kitchen (we think) that woke us up and did not stop until after breakfast. Unfortunately that was the better thing. After helping ourselves to a couple of cups of coffee from the Keurig in the lobby fellow guest mentioned THERE WAS A BOIL WATER ADVISORY in EFFECT!!!! Too bad the host couldn't inform us or out a sign on the machine, but so far we haven't gotten sick. Not impressed.

The accommodation were great and we enjoyed our stay, however were disappointed with the attitude of the staff at breakfast. When we came drown for breakfast we were not greeted and told what was available for breakfast. When the coffee ran out more wasn’t made and guests arriving at 8:50 were told breakfast was over at 9 am! As Newfoundlanders disappointed with the lack of hospitality.

The location was great and there was a nice ocean view from the balcony. The room was comfortable. The staff however were not very welcoming and the breakfast was just a relatively unhealthy pancake and sausage. It would have been great to have had at least boiled eggs and some cheese The Coffee was very weak

The B & B was well kept and clean. Although there was no one to greet us, the email we received was quite clear on how to access the property and our room. We were provided with phone numbers to contact the owners if necessary, which was nice to have on hand. We felt the breakfast provided was quite good…a hot cooked breakfast as well as a selection of yogurt, cold cereals, oatmeal and fresh fruit salad. The one drawback to our stay was that our room was quite small and the only window was the one in our washroom. It was also noisy there in the morning because our room, The Beluga Room, was right off the dining room and we could hear the food being prepared and other guests talking quite clearly in our room. Overall, however, it was quite nice.

The room was spacious and clean. Guests should be aware that main floor rooms can hear walking above as well as activity in the common area. The breakfast area cannot accommodate all guests at the same time. The owner, while not on site, was very responsive.

Shared breakfast was nice. Breakfast staff were helpful. Room was quite small. Bed was comfortable. Generally we are not comfortable with the self check in. Here, there was no cell phone coverage at the premises and the advisory email was hard to locate.

I liked the spacious, tastefully decorated room and bathroom, and the full hot breakfast served at 8 AM. I didn't like the use of Keurig coffee individual cups because they create garbage, and the noisiness of the main floor, because of activity in the common room. I think that the quiet time should start at 10 not 11 pm, and last until 7:30. Check in was easy but the place lacks the personal touch because it is self check-in. Lovely town, tho, and lovely property.

This B & B was just what we were looking for after several nights in hotels. The room was well appointed with comfy beds. Super clean throughout. The breakfast was good (pancakes and sausages with the option for toast). Cold/hot cereal was also available. Definitely recommend!

Our room and the communal area were very comfortable. The property was close to the fish market, which sold live lobster and crabs. The breakfast was insubstantial. Not enough food was served, and seconds were not encouraged. We never met the hosts, which was not an issue. Overall, it was very comfortable.
