Great spot. Only issue is the bed is not very comfortable & pillows are not great. The washroom is upstairs with bedroom/ sitting area which was fine for us but if any mobility issues it’s likely not suitable.

This little house is everything the pics suggest, and more. The re-do was extremely well done. The owners outfitted it very well, offering every utensil and good quality appliances, including a washer & dryer.
The bath towels are soft and like new. There are furnished decks at ground level and off the bedroom, so sitting out with morning tea and evening drinks is great. The Wi-Fi is solid.
We enjoyed walking through the neighbourhood and did a good hike up a nearby path overlooking the ocean. Note, this property is a bit away from Main St., so while that offers peace and quiet, it's a short drive for dinners and supplies. Summing up - this property is perfect for a couple.

Very cute property! And a unique stay. Needs some tlc to last longer.
The house has very uneven floors that were a hazard to tripping or stubbing toes. The bathroom wood had no finish on it which will mold.

We had a very good stay in Legges hill.
The house was very clean and cozy.
In short, it was like home away from home.
Thanks for everything.

From the moment we arrived to THE moment we left, everything was perfect. Plenty of towels, pictures were not deceiving at all. They were on point. Absolutely loved the view.

My husband and I stayed here mid-July 2023. This property was everything we hoped it would be. Quaint, in a quiet community, restored lovingly to incorporate old and new elements. Very clean and generously stocked with everything needed (towels, garbage bags, spices/condiments, etc.). Communication was excellent, with details on how to find and access the property, checking in to see if everything was okay, and then check out details. We were very lucky with our timing to see icebergs from the upper balcony! Close to hills for hiking, and Auk Island winery for supper.

This was a quick stop on a 10 day family trip. We were close to everything. The house was beautiful, unique bedroom and claw foot tub upstairs with an amazing view! Owners were great to deal and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend this as a place to stay! Wish we had a few more nights there!

We were very pleased with our accommodations and the location of Legges Loft. It was a cozy space with lots of room for the 3 of us and we loved looking at the icebergs from the upper deck. It was handy to shops and restaurants, as well as the tourist attractions. We were able to go back and forth easily throughout the day to have lunch and relax at the home. We definitely recommend Legges Loft!

We had a very nice stay in the Legges loft. The space offered rustic charm with lovely amenities including a large soaked tub. It was both cozy and spacious. Our only regret was that we didn’t have more time to spend in the unit.

We were visiting Twillingate from Kentucky. We had wanted to see the icebergs and to do costal hiking. Twillingate is ideal for both.
Legges Hill Loft was a last minute find as we were late in making reservations anywhere else and so had a difficult time finding a place until we turned to VRBO and then Legges Hill Loft popped up.
This turned out to be perfect for us ( my wife, myself, and my 17 y/o daughter). It was basic, but had great character, great views, and no noise at night. The bed was very comfortable as was the pull out that my daughter used. The bathtub in the middle of the floor on the second level is a bit of a show piece. We used it to dry our towels.
If you are a tall person (>6’2”) you will have to watch your head on the first level for low beams
If asked if we would go back, our family would vote a resounding yes!

Really nice property. Very private, off the beaten path. Very clean and comfortable and quirky! Loved our stay at this property.

We stayed two days to see some icebergs. Very well located 5min car to the center of Twillingate, where we found a food store and a pub. The place is really nice and cosy. We had the chance to be able to see an iceberg far away from the balcony. A nice trail for a small seaside hike nearby. Checkin was super easy. Only downside was the kitchen fan, we triggered the smoke detector with normal cooking.
