My wife & I spent a week at Twilly House to explore hiking trails in Twillingate. Very nicely restored 100+ year old traditional house. Very quiet neighborhood with a great view of the water from the front porch or nice chairs on the rocky beach. Close to the village for groceries, restaurants, etc. and close to several beautiful hiking trails. Kitchen, while a bit small (it's an old house) was nicely equipped. Great communication with the property manager. When we sent a message about the grill propane tank running low, someone showed up immediately to replace it. Note that there is only one bathroom. While not an issue for us, it may be a limitation for a larger group. Also, the stairs to the 2nd floor are steep & narrow, so could be a limitation for those with mobility issues. Twilly house was perfect for us & is highly recommended!

Twilly House is a Newfoundland Gem! The location feels so private, on a beach and is the true Newfoundland experience. The house maintains its Newfoundland charm and has everything you need! I highly recommend staying at Twilly House, I am not sure anything else could beat this place, it was exceptional! We cannot wait to go back!

Beautiful, cozy and with everything you would need. A true little spot of heaven - watched a beautiful sunset with whales in the foreground . The kindest hostess you could ever ask for and a typewriter to boot!! Cannot recommend enough . We felt so lucky to be able to stay here !

A stay at Twilly is the beginning of a memorable adventure!
The house had everything we needed and then plenty more! Loved proximity to hiking trails and winery for lunch or dinner. Easy walk!
Groceriers, more restauants and so many more trails within a very short drive. Plenty of options for hiking and dining!
The house is so comfortable and clean. Enjoyed having a washer and dryer but loved the closeline. The beach across the quiet street was nice to sit on in their muskoka chairs but bring water shoes..lots of beautiful stones.
Would highly recommemd a stay if you are in the area and we highly recommend a visit to the area😊
Thank you for sharing your amazing home!

This salt box house was so cozy and traditional yet had all the modern conveniences. It had a beautiful ocean view with a very large front deck with comfortable Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy the scenery. The managing agent was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The property had historic charm while having modern amenities. The views and outdoor seating were fantastic. Our party of two adult couples traveling throughout Newfoundland enjoyed a lovely stay.

Loved this beautiful home. We relaxed and cooked alot of meals; really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, including spices and olive oil. The view is fantastic but unfortunately no icebergs for our visit.

It was a gift to stay at this incredibly beautiful old salt box house facing the bay. We loved it the moment we saw it and then were thrilled when we entered and saw how adorable. We only stayed for a couple of nights but I want to return for a couple of weeks, great location, peaceful. Thank you to Marie!

Lovely cottage, with lots of room. Very comfortable, very well equipped, and very nicely decorated.
Beach is just across the road and nothing beats sitting on the deck watching the sunset.
Wished we could have stayed longer and would love to come back.

We were very impressed with this property! Great location, well equipped, with comfortable beds. We appreciated the new, clean BBQ and the fantastic binoculars. We would definitely recommend this property to others.
Constructive criticism - due to the heat wave we were experiencing, there should be fans in every bedroom and/or some type of window air conditioners. It also would be great to have a exhaust fan in the bathroom.

From the moment we arrived we were in love with this house! - It was in just the right spot to view a half dozen icebergs. The outside was so bright and cheerful. The inside was spotless and spacious. We immediately wished we had booked a longer stay! What an awesome vacation spot!!

Twilly House was amazing. We woke up to new icebergs in the bay each morning. The view off the front porch is beautiful. The house is so bright and charming and had everything we could possibly need. Very close to hiking and the town of Twillingate with so much to see and do. I would go back in a heartbeat and when I do I am staying at Twilly House.
