The place was empty! Owners were not there and skipped out of town with my money. I even called Hotels to confirm reservation. I ended up with no place to stay. DO NOT STAY HERE. It is a SCAM!!

Those seeking to stay in real Havana and experience the city and people will want this location and the outstanding recommendations and camraderie of Letitia and Alejandro. There is amazing local music around the corner, the sea walk is also around the corner, and two of Havanas best restaurants are steps away on the same street. We were made to feel at home immediately and help was always nearby for any need from bottled water to what to do next. We were welcomed as if family and the room was a little oasis in the bustle and heat of Havana. I will stay there next time I go to Havana!

To set your expectations, all of Havana is really run down and in decay, with a few exceptions. For most of the rest of the world, it would basically be a slum. But its people are really friendly and upbeat, there is great music to be found, and the seashore is great.
This is a bed-and-breakfast with just two guest rooms, in one of the more decayed/slummy sections of town, but it is in walking distance to the sea (about 8 blocks) and the city center (about 15 blocks). The hosts are very friendly and gave us a couple of free drinks. But this is not a fancy place. You have to carry your bags up three flights of stairs, and there are exposed wires (including in the shower) and threadbare furniture. There is A/C in the room, which would be nice, except that it blasts at such a high power that we were freezing, so we had to keep turning it off, and then on again when the room got stifling (no window). Also, the pillows had no pillow cases, which is probably fine, but made me worry about lice since who knows who else used those pillows without a pillowcase.
Breakfast is not included in the price, and costs $10. It was very tasty.

The property is at very good location. One can access most of the places by foot. Rooms were equipped with toiletries and AC which is needed in havana. Liticia was lovely. She explained to us the places to visit and gave us a map which she designed. She also suggested good and authentic cuban restaurant's. We enjoyed the breakfast. On our last day liticia gave us a lovely cuban souvenir. We will definitely stay at this property and would recommend this property for someone who loves to explore the real havana.

Leticia and Ale were amazing hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, they even prepared a map ans sat down with us to go through it so that we wouldn't miss any important location to visit. They also shared tips about what to avoid, be on the lookout for, in terms of safety and budget. As if that wasn't enough, they also helped us coordinate round trips to 2 other locations in Cuba (Playa Larga and Trinidad), including home and a ride, which turned out to be amazing hosts and drivers as well, 100% recommended! We will never forget our trip thanks to all of the pampering from Leticia and Ale! We will be back soon!

A good central location, I enjoyed watching the world go by from the balcony.
The place is a little run down and tired but I cannot compare to other places as this was the first we stayed in Havana.
I do understand that it's a family home but the reception room looked like a shrine with big bold pictures of the host's daughter. I met the daughter she was pleasant.
The hosts were nice and gave us a leaving present when we left.

very nice place to stay above all for Laetitia and Alejandro, who are very friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. Their flat is very well located in the "centro Habana".
