Great experience at this house. Yuni is super helpful, the house is clean, the bedroom is big and comfortable. It can get noisy in this part of town.
There is also a pizza place in the house, which is good for those nights you don’t want walk to find a restaurant.

I'm travelling often. For the first time I felt my self at the army.Hotelier was very thoug and disciplined. She had an attitude like a commander.
We could'nt use the shower head and sink tap at the hotel because they were clogged with limescale.
This hotel was a very bad experience for us and I deffinitely do not reccomend

Good accommodation in a good location, Yuni and her son were amazing hosts and were able to book transfers through them. Breakfast was also delicious.

Beautiful colonial house.
The breakfast had eggs, toast and fruit with a very strong velvety Cuban coffee - a great way to start our day in Havana Vieja. Our room and matrimonial bed were huge. The air-conditioning in the room is very good.
Yune was very attentive all the time and willing to talk to us about Cuban life. Her son and the other lady that works there are very friendly and even without electricity (national blackout), they changed our towels everyday and the room was spotless clean.

We booked Casa Mi Tierra for 10 days and it was amazing. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Yuni the host was like our Cuban mother for my husband & I she gave us great recommendation for restaurants, places to visit and she was always available for anything we needed. She even booked a classic car free of charged as gift for our wedding anniversary due to a photoshoot we had booked. She was amazing host and we have zero complaints. We had free breakfast every morning that was delicious and our room was always clean. I highly recommend💯

Our stay at Casa Mi Terra was absolutely wonderful, we ended up booking extra nights because we enjoyed it so much. Yuni the host went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. She was very helpful and provided plenty of useful information to make our stay and experience in Cuba great.
The building is gorgeous with many beautiful Spanish heritage feature, rooms are comfortable with comfy beds and very clean, breakfast is tasty and fresh! location is perfect for anyone who wants to experience the best of central Havana. Walking distance to many good restaurants and beautiful heritage architecture buildings. We can’t recommend this place enough.

The best casa i have lived in Cuba, it is very near to the Plaza Vieja, 5-7 mints of walk. The staff is extremely helpful and caring and excellent services. They even have a pretty good breakfast included in the price. In one word excellent!

Great choice if you want to stay in Old Habana. This place is right in the heart of the old town but is still quiet at night. Yuni was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious! I somehow forgot to take my watch with me and Yuni contacted me shortly afterwards and looked after it until i could return to collect it. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay. Simple and comfortable. Right near the heart of Old Havana, just about an 8-minute walk to Plaza Vieja. And the proprietor was so very helpful and friendly about advice on the city and making arrangements for cabs and tours and other needs of a traveler. Wonderful breakfast was included, many fruits, coffee, eggs, good bread. Room was simple and nice, with a very effective air-conditioner and shower, which helped quite a bit in dealing with the city's heat. Thanks to Juno for all the help. Great bargain and very nice place to stay.

The host was welcoming and made herself very available to answer any questions we had about the area. She spoke very good English. She gave us a good dinner recommendation and a map of the city with points of interest we could check out. When we asked about the nightlife options, she made sure to ask her son and got back to us. This made us feel like she cared about making our trip worth it so we really appreciated the kindness. When we couldn’t find the host we asked the cleaning staff and had a pretty pleasant conversation through sign language because of the language barrier haha. They were very helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and had good AC. Comes with a safe too which was super nice. Breakfast was worth the early morning as she served us a plate of the freshest fruit we had on our trip as well as eggs and toast. She also helped us organize a taxi back to our resort since we didn’t have a Cuban SIM to make calls. Our taxi came a bit later than the checkout time so they allowed us to hang out in the kitchen area so we could escape the heat. The place is within walking distance to a large artisan market and some main attractions in old Havana. Overall, nice accommodations with a friendly staff.

It was a wonderful experience. I was especially delighted by the friendliness of the hostess, who prepared a wonderful breakfast, despite the very early hour. It was also a great location within walking distance of the main attractions. The room was clean and everything worked properly. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

It was a treat to have a bidet attachment in the bathroom. It was wonderful to have a laundry service available that was not only quick but done with care.

This lady was so rude to us she made us feel so uncomfortable it really did ruin our stay. First of all my friend called the 24 hour customer helpline through hotels.com at 1am, as she was arriving late and couldn’t contact me due to there being absolutely no internet connection inside the room because it’s kind of like a prison cell. They called her and woke her, obviously we were blamed for this but weren’t to know they would call her!! From then on she had it in for us and was so spiteful. She didn’t tell me what time breakfast was or it was included, obviously my friend had arrived past 1am so we weren’t likely to be up and ready, the people next to us also weren’t ready by 9am, so she hammered on the door, raising her voice, stomping around, she made a point of saying 3 times how she wouldn’t serve us food past 9am again, even though we already apologised and explained we didn’t know what time it was or that we were even having breakfast! She tried to take our plates whilst we were still eating, told my friend ‘put your phone down and eat’. She arrived at 1am with no internet to let her family know she was ok, she took the chance to message them whilst she could and was scolded like a child. We have a friend in Havana and he knocked the door to see us and they just turned him away didn’t even tell us until later that he came. Just so nasty and we were so patient and polite to her. The area is really dangerous even the tour guide said he was shocked we were staying there

There is never an excuse to be rude to your guests like this woman, I’ve travelled all over the world and am always a respectful guest, I’ve never been treated like this by such an angry person.
Be very careful in this area, everyone we spoke to couldn’t believe we were staying there. People followed us in the street they got very close and I think we’re trying to pick pocket us.
Nothing like the pictures, it’s like a room opening onto an alley , so noisy, no internet connection in the room even with a local SIM card, you have to go outside to get any signal , and I wouldn’t advise to exchange money with this lady you get a very bad rate, we changed for 235 with her and then got 280 elsewhere.

Spotlessly clean and well taken care of. Nice spacious rooms, great location just a few minutes walk from Plaza Vieja. Juni was very friendly and offered to arrange transport from the airport before we arrived. She gave us tips about the area and where to eat and walk. Breakfast is included and it’s very tasty, including eggs, bread, fruit, juice, and tea or coffee. We loved our stay so much we rebooked for when we returned to Havana. Thank you!

This property is located in Old Havana and is very near all historical sites. Despite Old Havana having been neglected for more than half a century, Casa mi Tierra is very well kept, extremely cleaned and very quiet. A safe heaven in this city. The host were friendly and the breakfast was amazing. A great place

Very warm & friendly welcome from Yuni to her family home. Great location and we walked everywhere from here. Good breakfast and a little insight into life in a traditional Habana district. A different experience than a modern cental hotel but much more interesting.

Wonderful location and extremely helpful hosts. One of the best places we stayed in Cuba!

The property is an old house in Havana Center, which is renovated. It is nicely decorated and very clean. The windows don't look at the street, but in at an inner yard.
The breakfast is good, considering it is practically the same ( due to food lack in Cuba. There is not everything to be found.) in every casa with small variations.
I gave the casa 4/5 due to its location. For me the Habana Vieja, except the touristic Plazas, is the district of the poor. It is dirty( like most of Cuba, they just throw their garbage everywhere, including the sea), the houses are falling apart and as a woman alone I didn't feel well walking there at night. But ist is near the Plazas, so some might prefer this location.

This room was incredibly damp. You practically sleep outside in an alley. The walls inside were basically outside walls. It was like a prison cell with no windows and the damp and what looked like mold is definitely a hazzard for your health. The taxi driver who dropped us of was not even comfortable dropping us off. The street was dirty, people loitering and was definitely one of the most horrible slums in Havana. They don't show you pictures of the street the accomodation is located for this reason ofcourse. We left as quickly as we could after telling the host that the accomodation was not to our liking. She didn't like that we expressed that and was straight away very rude. Even lying to the manager that she felt mistreated. She didn't even speak English to begin with. I do not understand how this accomodation has these good ratings. It was horrible.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Casa Mi Tierra. Yuni was an excellent host, she provided recommendations for spots around the city, served a lovely breakfast daily, and assisted us in arranging taxis from the airport and to a beach town where we spent the second half of our trip. Casa Mi Tierra is a beautiful home in a convenient location in the city. We had a safe and comfortable stay during our time in Havana.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. First of all, my room was huge, impeccable, had cold AC, and hot water in the shower. Second, Juni and her team helped me with getting a cab, exchanging money, finding a place to buy water, etc. etc. And finally, I had an emergency and had to go home unexpectedly, and Juni was all out in her support to help me with the internet, my booking, and finding me a drive home. She really felt like family, and will definitely stay again.
