Got there from airport after 2a.m couldnt get in, neighbors had to be calling. Irons thrown about all over the place, place dusty and moldy, pictures advertised are nothing like whats given to guests, room reserved was not received, bed old and tough, bed spring protruding, no WIFI, no breakfast as advertised. TOTAL RIP OFF

It was a very nice stay and we would go there again. Havanna is a very noisy city and the hostal is very central, so not very quiet. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good!
The Hostel is very clean! Our room was good, but for 3 quite small. Next time we would take 2 rooms.

Casa Vieja is in an antique mansion which still has some of the grandeur of its history. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are helpful, pleasant and welcoming. The cleanliness is impeccable ! We felt totally safe as you are buzzed in at the front door. Breakfast is on a rooftop terrace and was delicious. We would highly recommend staying in this Casa when you are in Old Havana.

The bathroom had a bad smell, the door couldn’t be openen properly and had no showercurtain. The room was tiny and didn’t lock well. Uncomfortable stay

Staff is super nice and the location is good. Nevertheless, it‘s a very noisy street in general and the neighbors with their constantly playing music box didn‘t help. Also from day to day something else broke within the hotel. For the price per night, we expected more.

What an amazing place to stay. Perfect location to explore Old Havana. The hotel had such charm and the hospitality from the hosts was amazing. Clean and comfortable rooms. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back. A big thank you to Kelly and her family for making our stay memorable

we stayed for 7 nights. the location is superb just in the heart of old town. although it could be noise but it didn't bother me. The house is beautiful, a lot of arts and a rooftop for breakfast. The owner and her mother are super friendly, she helped us with all our needs. It's a very pleasant experience.

The hotel is very quirky rooms are adequate. No body spoke English so very difficult to find out directions, information etc. The hotel is also situated on a very very noisy street so sleeping is a problem. The music shouting whistling carried on until day break.
It was a pity as the hotel is in the perfect place for site seeing. But four nights without sleep spoilt our experience in Havana.

Casa Vieja is a quirky and perfectly placed for exploring old Havana. The rooms were cosy but adequate and clean. Beds were comfortable. The hotel has a lovely sitting area and a rooftop bar where an excellent breakfast is served every morning. Only slight moan was that the rooms weren't ready until 7.30pm (we arrived at the hotel at 4pm). NB The hotel doesn't have a sign on it. You'll recognise it by the giant gorilla smoking a cigar painted across the doors - i said it was quirky!
