Magical Mountain View’s and incredible staff made our stay an amazing time. Sight seeing is not a scarcity, amazing food at the Cafe and the bar at night! We will definitely be back, couldn’t have been any better.

Silver gate was a wonderful place to take your family! It off the road. It was big enough for six of us. It wasn't the cleanest place for the extra charges.

We liked the charming atmosphere and the cozy personalized cabin

Cabin was perfect! The staff were friendly and very helpful! Loved the stay and would go again!

Beautiful area, cute cabin. People were super nice

This property was very expensive for a dirty cabin. There were bugs in the room and bathroom. The power was out when we checked in and we never got power during our stay. I was not expecting much but would have at least expected the rooms to be very clean for the price.

This is a nice place, and the cabin is rustic. But it has only a double (full) bed, which seems wrong. There is plenty of room for a queen. So, not the best bed for a couple. Other than that, the people were nice, and the area is incredibly beautiful. No better scenery anywhere.

Very good

Proximity to Yellowstone and The Royal Wulff was great. The room was not clean- there were dirty dishes, glasses, silverware, and pans, the bathroom exhaust fan was dirty, the window tracks were full of dead insects, the refrigerator was very loud, the nightly campfire by the office filled the room with smoke. For the price, I expected something nicer.

Great time. Entrance to yellowstone is less then 5 minutes away. Tons of wildlife and beautiful views.

The cabin was newly remodeled. Exceeded expectations. Clean, comfortable, surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Will definitely return. Limited dining options given the remoteness, some only accept cash, nearest atm was in neighboring town.

Charming quiet well maintained

Very quiet and quaint. No cell service or WiFi. Had a full kitchen with a charcoal grill and fire pit

Beautiful quiet spot at the NE entrance of Yellowstone National Park

Love this little resort. Very cute and clean cabins. Kitchenette made it perfect for our family. Just outside NE entrance and Lamar Valley.

Great little cabin, we saw moose close by. No internet. Parents liked that child did not. Parents bed new child’s bed a little old. Very, very friendly people and neat eating options very close by.

Great location near YNP. Bathroom floor was in bad shape and the shower was a little small, but everything else was decent.

Nice propertty. Store is nice. Everything was supplied and clean. Location is beautiful and just outside the NE gate to Yellowstone.
I booked through expedia, and it was a few months ago, but i don't remember anything about a cleaning fee. I am even OK with the fee if i was aware of it.
Only other issue was there was still no cell service and the cabins do not have wifi. Some people prefer this. There is wifi at the store and is free.
4.0
Great property that makes Yellowstone National Park very accessible. Like less than 2 miles from the gate.
5.0
Isolated and beautiful. Perfectly located for morning and evening commutes through the Lamar valley of Yellowstone. Totally worth it and will try to stay again here in the future.

Loud mice rummaging through the cabin all night.

It was only one night stay for us. It's a cute cabin. Beautiful view in the fron of the cabin, outdoor cookout site and seats at the small porch to llok the mountainview.. They have a full kitchen except microwave. There is no TV, and no wifi in room, so we actually spent a quality time without any social media distraction. Wifi is only available near the main office. The town...? there was no stores or restaurants open. We arrived the cabin after 5 pm, and end of September. We drove a couple miles to Cooke city for dining and filling gas for our car. This town is the closest place from the northeast entrance to yellowstone national park.

It was perfect with our dog leroy.
The cabin was what we wanted and the surrounding area beautiful.
No wolf sighting, but weare planning for next year to come back.loved all the goats!!!!!

Very folksy, rustic but has what you need to cook and relax. Special service - they do a campfire with s’mores! Fun! Just be aware that they charge an additional fee to book with them - a bit unusual and high!

Perfect place for entering Yellowstone. Less traffic and people.

Not what I was expecting for the price.
Very primitive.

The cabin is very quaint but it would have been nice to have more comfortable seating inside the cabin. The mattress was very comfortable!

nice cabin, great check in, clean but a bit out dated...bathrooms need update and carpets should be removed

Such a cozy little town. We stayed just one night and it was perfect.

Convenient to entrance to Yellowstone.
The cabin was not very clean. Food in kitchen sink. Lots of hairs in shower. Dirty shower curtain.

I liked that it was quiet and out of the way ans within a minutes drive to Yellowstone. Cabin was cute.

Super cozy cabin with a great atmosphere. Great staff that are willing to help with welcoming attitudes. Comfortable beds, great for after a long day exploring.

We enjoyed the unique setting and the truly 'cabin' feel. The only thing that we would suggest is that a table-top fan would be included in the cabin.
4.0
Good location. Too small shower room

Nice setting, cabins are close together, just like in an RV campground. Not much privacy to neighboring cabins but clean and well maintained. Hosts were great! Beds were comfy.

This is a quaint cabin in the woods just outside of Yellowstone, good location. The price is extremely high. It wasn’t as clean as it probably should have been and lots of big ants that resemble termites inside. I haven’t ever paid this much, so maybe I was hoping it would be nicer…disappointing.

The scenery was beautiful and cabin was very rustic and fun place to stay, and
“Jackson” the Bison was the highlight of our stay!!!

This a remote property inside the National Forest. It was very nice, clean and well you are in the Yellowstone National Forest checking out the Mountain Goats! All natural, so a great place!!
