We changed our reservation from 3 nights to 2 nights when seeing the price went up another hundred dollars for Sat eve of the long weekend. After we were checked in, we went out for dinner and received a phone call from the owners, asking us when we were going to check in. I told him we already checked in, they asked me what room I was in…?! Lots of cracks in the tiles in uneven floor and musty smell. Bathroom mirror hung directly above the sink at stomach height, where you couldn’t even see your reflection and weak water pressure. The tiny TV hung in the corner of the ceiling (why the ceiling?!) did not work, staff had to fix although the reception/quality of picture was horrible on the outdated device. We forgot my daughter’s down duvet there, when I contacted them, they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I had to push and they said oh well we do actually have real duvets, but we only use them in the winter so that’s why we didn’t notice. 👀 This isn’t the worst of all of it though, I wasn’t going to leave a review until receiving my credit card bill and noticed that I was charged twice. 💸👀 I called and also emailed the proof with screenshots of the charges and was told I’d be reimbursed. I called to confirm And was told the owners would do it after 11 even though I was speaking to the owner on the phone. The husband grabbed the phone from his wife, and spoke down to me and then hung up. I will issue a dispute if I do not receive repayment by noon

I recently stayed here and was quite disappointed with my experience. First and foremost, the service was far from satisfactory. The room itself was much smaller than anticipated, providing little comfort or space to move around. Additionally, the rates were noticeably higher than what I would have expected for such a subpar experience. To top it off, they did not provide any complimentary water, which is a basic amenity I’ve come to expect at even the most modest of accommodations. Overall, I would not recommend this motel based on my experience. There are certainly better options available that offer better value and service.

The price was waaaaay more than many 4 star hotels I've stayed at. The room was very dirty. The beds both had visible stains. We all slept fully clothed. The pull out couch was very dirty. Again, had to sleep fully clothed and had to use a blanket I keep in the car. Pop cans and garbage were jammed behind the couch. For the price I expected much better.

We booked total three rooms, one of the room had dead bugs lying on the floor, for one tv was not working ( which they fixed later) , for another ac didn’t work all night and people couldn’t sleep at all. Towels were dirty, I know it’s just a motel and you shouldn’t expect much but.. but these were sort of basic stuff

Poor service and poor communication. Stayed for 2 nights, after first night they cleaned the room and cleared all our food we had left in fridge. Tiny and cluttered rooms. Old thin towels.

The kids were excited for the pool, however there was garbage in the pool and around the deck, the pool was never closed so I don't think it was cleaned or kept up with . The new renos look nice but poorly done. We went to use the pull out couch and it was filthy , bed spread and sheets also were stained and had other's hair and crumbs on it. they had a cute chair in the room but that too smelt and was stained up. The parking was just outside your room and they had fire pits around a field so you can enjoy the evening out. We walked into the town and explored so that was nice and they had a basketball net so that helped to keep the kids entertained.

We like the property it looks inviting. Our concerns regarding the facility is that the towels are not clean and they have stains. I think it is been there for a long time that it cause stains on them. It’s good that we brought our own towels. I’m not sure if the beddings are changed before we got there, it looks clean though. May suggestion is that they should check all the rooms specially the beddings and towels and make sure they are clean before the customers arrive.

The place was clean. But the wifi was horrible. The AC unit in the room is dirty inside the vents. Aswell there was no hot water. Plus my daughter found some funny looking stain on her pillow. The beds were comfortable and the room smelled clean. Another down side was the tv is small. Probably won't stay here again unless they fix the areas they need to improve on.

Everything we needed was there. Staff were very friendly and approachable. The yard was perfect for play, chill and picnic. The best part for me was the bonfire. It’s extra pay but worth it. The pool was good but it was not the best when we got there. Few minutes away from Sauble beach, Aerial Park and Spirit Rock. It’s a good place to stay if you are planning to visit Tobermory and the rest of Bruce Peninsula.

Very basic motel for $400 per night on a long weekend. No coffee in a room. No complimentary breakfast. Good to travel with the dog. Nice large field at the back to take your dog out.

Bad customer service, wifi is useless, bad main door lock, main door with opening at bottom and side, slippery bath tub, inconvenient shower spout, no garbage bin, TV useless with no usefull channel (just free to air only), no coffee for $230 per day fees. The price is unreasonable based on my value for $.
