have stayed there twice first time was pretty good second time not great. Had a hot tub suite but had no hot water, kind of defeats the purpose. Clean facilities has a great view, swimable beaches are a bit of a hike.

Check in process was easy , hotel overall has great location and that’s all. Hotel has potential but rooms are dirty. Room service does not come every day. You have to keep asking for towels. Swimming pool is dirty, hot tub is even worse. Overall I am not recommending. For that price? You can find something better on island.

Very bad experience. The first day there was no hot water nor did the bathroom sink work. The TV didn't work. The internet did not work (very slow on the second and third day) I reported it from the first night and they only solved the TV thing I regretted having paid in advance for three nights. I wouldn't stay again even if they offered it to me for free.

Would have liked an outlet in the restroom and a bigger mirror in restroom. Hot water did not work all days we were there. Would like a blanket over a sheet at night as it can get chilly. Staff was friendly. Room was cleaned and fresh towels replaced daily. Close to eating options and beach. Would stay again.

Jose was wonderful. First room was having an issue with the AC and Jacuzzi, but they immediately moved me to different Room, an amazing view! will definitely stay here again. Ashton at the bar was awesome as well. Great breakfast with a wonderful view. Good prices.

Overall the room was fine. Although, there was hair all over the floor, like a LOT of hair! The beds were a bit hard but it was fine for the price and location. I think hotel staff should try to make sure guests aren’t yelling all night in lobby area. It got a little ridiculous.

Upgraded to ocean view king w hot tub. The room was large and clean. Had to wait until 3pm to check-in (understandable). Upon check-in the elevator was out for maintenence so had to walk up 4 flights with luggage. Only had 2 bath towels. No wash cloth or hand towels. Told front desk and they just said sorry but didnt offer to provide any. Hot tub was outside on balcony and didnt appear to be clean so didnt take the time to try it. No ice machines. Went to hotel bar to get some and after a discussion the manager agreed to not charge me. Went to use pool and they wanted to charge you to get pool towels. Decided to just go to on-site restaurant and it was already closed (bar too) at 5:50pm. on a Tuesday evening.
Fast forward to check-out and had to wait for staff to go to inspect the room. Was questioned where the coffee mugs were. When I told them there was no mugs, just like no hand towels, after discussion they agreed to check me out of room. Still waiting to see if the deposit has been fully released. Based on my experience, there are better options for my next visit to the island.

We always try a different place to stay when we come to Isla and this hotel we really enjoyed. Any issues or questions they were very prompt and helpful.

Check in staff was rude. Did not have the room ready when they said. Very noisy at 4:30-5 AM. What are they doing working at 4:30 AM. I've stayed there 5 times. Now MINT owns it. And it's going downhill. Fast.

Had a minor unusual issue and was moved to another room. Other than that everything was good!

They only provide a sheet I would have preferred a blanket. Room cleaning is inconsistent and the floor never gets clean always dirty I walked around in flip flops at the time. Water pressure is weak takes a while to have hot water. Loved it’s location in heart of it all north beach few minutes away walking.

The room was large and the bed was comfortable, had an ocean view as well. I got the option of a shared bath which was fine although my reservation said it included towels the front desk was adamant that it did not so we didn’t get off to the best start. Also, I would suggest better doors in the women’s bathroom. Other than that, the location was great and the AC worked well, no complaints.

The king suite is huge nice bed for what usually find in Mexico. Lots of exposed concrete design they are trying to improve. . biggest issues no hot water. Let it run for 5-10 minutes and no hot water came.. king suite doesn't really face ocean. It's off to side of patio . Mostly quiet nice pool and right close to downtown area of Isla. Staff friendly WiFi is extra was another bum deal. For price should be included since. Fix hot water this place would be easy rebook

Great hotel for the price! Friendly check in/out. We had a whirlpool suite, the view was beautiful! It filled very slow and the jets didn’t work but if you got up early and turned on the water it was full by the time you were done with breakfast. It was clean and convenient to everything. Also had beach towels for a small fee.

Close enough to town to walk and far enough to escape the noise! Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Loud music playing throughout. Staff not very accommodating, though in all fairness they did change our room. It was a cheaper room, but they did not compensate price. Amenities involved two coffee pods with no cream or sugar, with 3 days completely missed altogether, and only two small bottles of water. Found a dead cockroach in the bathroom. When sitting by the pool, by not in as the pool as it was freezing cold. Had to pay for ice. And, I accidentally broke a saucer. Then at check out they wanted me to pay for it. I didn’t. No restaurant to speak of. Yet staff expected to be tipped. Be aware, the pictures are not a true likeness.

We went to the hotel after 3pm and we were ask to wait another half an houe to check in.The room was not properly cleaned. The flash in the bathroom wasn’t working. There was no light in the in room. The hote tub was very very dirty n wasn’t working. There is no facility for the price at all…We paid more to get the best room in the hotel but our experience was terrible.

not the greatest . at first i went to both side entrances and they were locked and the hotel looked closed . then i went to ocean side and found it was open .the place is one big concrete bunker . we get to our room the bed was ok at best . went to the ocean front jacuzzi and the hot water didn't work and the cold would trickle in basically making it useless ( was the whole reason i booked this place ). they had a bar / restaurant that never saw one person at . went to take a shower it took about 5 mins for the hot water to hit the room then after about 2 mins the hot water stopped flowing you could only flow cold water. then we had some rain and wind and woke up to large puddle in the room . i would look at staying somewhere nicer next visit . side note the staff was friendly

Property in the middle of a remodel which wasn’t informed prior to booking… old property in a good location, friendly staff, ice cold ac, no televisions in the rooms, how do you not provide a tv to wind down before you go to sleep ???

My first time at Isla Mujeres and Ocean Drive was the perfect spot to unwind. The King Size option with ocean view and jacuzzi are definitely worth it. The Isla Mujeres sign where everyone takes pictures is downstairs from the building.

Do not stay here. It is a concrete bunker of sorts, reminiscent of a prison. There is no wifi . The pool was closed by the health inspector but not communicated to guests - my father and I ended up getting Staph infections BAD. The manager or supervisor or whatever he is stole from us. We were booked for rooms that were $50 per night, but we were both charged $146 per night. Because of the exchange rate, neither of us noticed our cards had been over charged until they were already swiped. The windows are broken, as are the lights. There is no hot water, ever. It is a construction site.
We left after 3 nights and were supposed to stay 7, because the supervisor guy wouldn't refund the money owed, no matter how many times I asked. The supervisor dude also has a temper that was a bit scary - he screams at his employees when he thinks no one can hear, and it is really sad. Homophobic slurs were really hard to digest...its 2023...When we heard him yelling, started getting itchy spots from the pool and refusal to refund the money owed -that was enough for us to leave. This wrecked our trip. We had to shell out to get a hotel last minute while leaving almost 2k CND behind. Ultimately we had to pursue charges with the CND Consulate, as there is no other way for us to be refunded without police involvement. What a terrible experience! Boooo! Save yourself!

The front desk attendants and the cleaning service attendants were amazing. The restaurant at the hotel was convenient, but we found better food and service a few blocks away. The hotel is still undergoing major renovations. The original room that was provided had no television and was on the floor that was having construction done. Lucky enough the front desk was super accommodating and switched our room to one that was advertised on the website. For the price and service, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Pro:reat location. Walkable neighborhood. Pretty views.
Cons: Hot Tub on our deck was dirty, cracked and water flow to fill it up was slllllllooooooowww. Restaurant was lack luster. Staff didn't communicate very well

If you are on a budget this is the place for you. It is walking distance to Playa Norte. Hotel is located near shops and restaurants. 3 adults stayed 1 night and we got two full size beds. (not the most comfortable beds but for 1 night and the time, it was perfect. We did not eat there. The 3rd floor has a great open view. The room we stayed in had a Cruise ship system in where you leave the card inserted at the entrance in order for lights to work. We put a Sams club card instead and it also worked. The hotel has so much potential.
We arrived the the morning and walked around the Island, Do not expect for Cancun area hotels to give you blankets for they are not really required in Hot places like this. It was of a shock for us Californians to see that at every hotel we stayed in. I think this hotel only had an elevator to go up so if someone is in a wheelchair it'll be hard. At check in we were given key only, no paperwork. They also had us pay a fee of about $6 dollars not sure if it was legal or they just wanted to get a few more pesos in.

The room was totally not what I thought it would be. The ground was wet and dirty, I didn’t want to walk on it without shoes on. The WiFi is really back working. The hotel from the outside looks good, but unfortunately that’s the only good point.
