A perfect abode in a central location close to the cultural centre, quick walk to downtown and museums and the river walk. Clean and comfortable rooms; unique decor and very friendly and welcoming staff at reception and at restaurant.

The hotel rooms, the hallways and restaurant are extremely clean.

Staff were wonderful. This was our first time having dinner at their restaurant, the food was wonderful, and our waitress was friendly and made us feel very welcome. We go to Whitehorse often, and if Raven Inn were not available, we would likely cancel our entire trip.

Probably the best place to stay in Whitehorse. New, spotlessly clean, decent location.

This is a hotel for the Millennials. The area is all new buildings, but it’s not far to walk into the old town. We did hear the people above us walking back and forth late at night, as there is no carpet in the hotel. The sourdough waffles are not that great, very dry and crusty.

what bothered us most was a bad smell in the hallway by our room
and worse - NO airport pick up
10.0 / 10.0
1. The hotel is in a convenient location not far away from downtown (less than 10 minutes walk), without the potential concern of living right in downtown.
2. The hotel is clean and the staff is very helpful.
3. There is one onsite restaurant (Railwork Lounge), though limited choices, providing great foods.
4. Surprising free laundry facility.
5. The only down side is no other facilities available.

Very unique, nice and clean. Only a few mins walk from downtown, the river, and places to eat.
Rooms are very clean. Free washer and dryer. Has a bar and a restaurant inside.

Beautiful property, staff were wonderful, especially Alwin, he was very friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant (the Railway Lounge) was phenomenal. The hotel was in walking distance of the waterfront attractions. 10/10 all around!

Very expensive hotel, but didn’t meet our expectations. We found bedbugs in our room. Noisy and drunk guests woke up everybody in the hotel at midnight. Parties go on in the hotel and nobody from the hotel cares. It says no dogs in the hotel, but we had barking dog on our floor. Poor management. Not recommending to new guests.

Great Hotel with friendly staff. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, resto attached.

A very cold hotel. The lighting is bright and offensive. The orange paint in the hallways combined with the lighting is awful. There are no full length mirrors in the hotel room, The lighting in the room is white/bright/stark and combined with horrible decor - black walls- very uninviting. In summer it does not get dark until late, There are only blinds on the windows, no blackout curtains. the beds/pillows/bedding were comfortable. Its not a room you would want to spend any time in but it served its purpose. Bedside lights are far too high. Overall the lighting is offensive. The restaurant attached is lovely and convenient.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The facilities and staff were top-notch. The room, beds, pillows, and bathroom were all very nice. Our stay with two teens was quite comfortable.

Summary: Great staff, bad property.
Details: The staff goes out of their way to help. Especially the international students who work here are incredible. They are always out to impress, taking spirited initiative to each and every request. The property however sucks. It gives off a cheap vibe. The only thing it has going for it is that it is newer construction. Still, there was odour in the room when we checked into the "King" apartment. There's a king bed but barely any space for it. The room is a tight fit even for a Queen bed. Balcony is very small. The Raven Inn branded mugs - the only mugs in the room - don't fit under the Nespresso machine. The soap in the bathroom was the size of a Canadian $1 coin. TV is mounted so high that it strains the neck to watch it. The cheap TV mount doesn't allow it to be angled down. No mirror outside the bathroom, so you have to wait for your partner to come out. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, so you have to open the door and wait for the humidity to clear. AC seems like an after thought as it is left in the room on the floor. Had to ask for an ironing board and an iron. Iron board was so cheap that it fell to floor twice while ironing. No lotion in the room. Wi-Fi connection was slow 3.14 Mbps down, 1.01 Mbps Up, 46ms latency on 18 July 2024 at 8:49 PM local time. 10.1 Mbps down, 5.18 Mbps Up, 45ms latency on 19 July 2024 at 3:07 AM local time. No gym on the property. No business lounge or common areas for you to sit and work.

Check in was good and we were upgraded to a suite. Was disturbed at 7:00am by a garbage truck emptying not one but two dumpsters right outside somewhere. Found it to be a little pricey for downtown area.
4.0 / 10.0
So we were really looking forward to staying at what reviews rated as a 9.0 & 'fabulous' hotel.
Check in was great, very friendly, fast and easy.
High security, with codes to punch in as you moved around the Inn. Ok, times have changed, got to accept it as normal. Arrived on our 3rd floor, I thought I was in a hospital.
Stark white floors, Bright Teal walls. Entered our room. I thought I was in a university dorm. Stark, minimalist, very much like staying in a Novitel Hotel in Europe.
Although, beds were super comfy, nice linens, fluffy towels.
But take aways were the portable A/C that sounded like a jet taking off in your room. Worked great but noise was too much.
The TV was maybe a 32". Luckily we weren't there to watch tv.
Bathroom, no, more like a "bath" room. Like a big soaker tub, toilet and floor so small you had to towel off in the tub first. Ok, so maybe the thought was putting the basin in the hallway so 2 people can do each their own thing. Ok. I get it. But at $360/night. No way I come back.
I have to add through all this disappointment, we found the restaurant off the lobby was one of the best restaurants we have dined in a long time.
Great breakfasts, dinners and the best creme Brule we have ever had. Coffee was great, service top notch.

We loved our stay in a two bedroom apartment on the top floor. There was plenty of room for our family of five. We asked for a roll away for one of the kids and it was promptly provided. There was a walking path right behind the building that went along the Yukon River. There’s a beautiful park very close and we enjoyed taking the kids there. We were lucky to be there on a Thursday and enjoyed a community event with food trucks and other booths.

Good location and nice to have an onsite restaurant. The parking area is a wind tunnel . Nice to have AC, but not when the machine enters the window, sits in the middle of the bedroom, and sounds like a jet engine when it’s on.

It’s in the downtown. Restaurants , grocer stores, coffee shops are walking distance. Hotel was very clean and staff super Friendly. I love it. Hotel parking little tight if you have a big truck. For Suv and car is perfect. They have a EV charger too.
Overall it’s very nice place to stay.

This was a new and convenient hotel close to all amenities as well as had free parking and a restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is well worth the few extra dollars over many of the other older worn hotels!

Place looks fresh, but in my opinion steered too much into “modern”. Hallways entirely hard surfaces and bright contrasting color, super white lighting, felt like a hospital, or more of a mental hospital in a horror movie.
Room colors muted, but still all hard surface which made the room echo. The portable AC was nice to have, but extremely loud, even at low settings.
Automatic one star deduction when a key doesn’t work (I’m so sick of this industry wide issue).
Parking sucked. No way they’re half booking the hotel and having enough spots for all their guest. Minus a star, we felt we could leave for dinner in fear of no parking on return.
