A good hotel. Comfortable with a good restaurant. Situated at the end of the main street with food and shopping all around.

Thank you! We needed a last-minute place to stay and found this charming, historic building. We stayed in the suite, which included a bedroom and a kitchen – perfect for our needs.

Downtown and river location was great!

The rooms, staff and everything surrounding the property is great. The parking is terrible. Definitely first come first serve and if you’re driving anything with a trailer or bigger vehicle, good luck

Wonderful hotel - excellent location, fantastic service, clean! No ac in lobby and no elevator, but they will help with bags. Wake up call and morning shuttle worked well. Would definitely stay again!

The room was very nice and quiet. It’s in a beautiful hotel. Staff was so helpful.

Fantastic hotel. Only 1 issue and it is not their fault. Parking is terrible. Be advised that you need to feed parking meters between 9:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Saturday. I was 10 minutes late and received a parking ticket. 2 hour maximum in each spot. Free at night.

Prime location. Clean and comfortable beds. Very attentive and hospitable staff. Will stay here again if visiting Whitehorse.

Small parking lot but free street parking overnight. Very nice off leash dog park - 1/2 mi away. Hotel was extremely accommodating when I requested lowest floor possible because of dog. Restaurant next door/attached was excellent.

Great location! Loved the riverside trail, parks, downtown vibe and festivities (market, marathon, food trucks etc.) Clean, safe, friendly staff...nice to spend the weekend in Whitehorse.

The inside of the property was beautiful and clean. The room (we stayed in a king suite) was very nice. However, there was very limited parking. We thankfully were there over a weekend so we didn't have to pay for street parking, but would be frustrating if we had had to pay for street parking given they had no available parking in the lot.
The hotel also says online it is dog friendly. There was not an elevator and the stairs are fairly steep and narrow. Our dogs were able to navigate it ok, however could be problematic for older pups. We were also blamed for a noise complaint due to our dogs despite them not having made a sound.
Overall, very nice hotel but may not be the best for dog owners, if you have a large vehicle, or do not wish to street park.

While there wasn’t a lot of curb appeal the inside of the hotel was beautifully renovated with an especially lovely bathroom. It was also walking distance from where we were dropped off after our whitepass trip. They offered a complimentary airport shuttle and it was all very nice.

Property very clean, employees very friendly. Place right next to a very popular pub and it was very noisy till 2:30 am. Very hard to sleep

The property was nice and it was close to the main streets of Dawson City. The room was comfortable and a basic hotel room. The staff were very friendly and provided some extras that were asked for. The restaurant food was very good and well priced. Overall I would recommend the hotel.

Location

The hotel is nice, but there are only 6-7 parking spaces, the rest are meter spots that you have to start paying for at 9am. There is no other free parking nearby. There is a park across the street, but you have to exit the rear of the hotel and go around to get to it. The room was clean and well maintained, no elevator though, so if you have much luggage, you're going to be hauling it up stairs. Check in and out was efficient with no issues with the staff.

Overall good experience. Clean and safe property in the center of Whitehorse. Please note provided wifi barely works - there was no way to even have a few minutes long video call through their wifi. Also, the walls are really thin - you can hear your neighbours talking.

You have got to check out the Suite!! It is FANTASTIC!!!!

Older building but nicely updated. Reminder there is no elevator and parking can be a bit challenging.

A great stay for the weekend. Edgewater is right downtown and close to the water so a really nice location. Belly of the Bison the restaurant on site was delicious.
The rooms are small but they are so nice and modern feeling which is honestly a bit rare in Whitehorse. Parking there is a bit limited though there is street metered parking available which is free after 530 and on Sundays, just secure a spot and walk around!

Immaculate, quiet property in the heart of the town. Excellent dining options in house and immediately surrounding the hotel. I slept so well!

Parking was a little wierd but great stay!

The Edgewater Hotel is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the last few years. Each and every staff member was very helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond the whole time; especially Tyler. The location is great, right in the center of town and across from the train station. This hotel was absolutely perfect for us and I highly recommend it for others.
