We were visiting friends locally and we had a great stay
4.0
Beautiful little place and it has a great restaurant. Walls are quite thin though and I could hear a person next door very clearly. Nobody was around to check out before 8am.

Check was easy and pleasant. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed my brief stay here!

Lovely but noisy next to main road

Lovely pub with great staff and very good food the rooms need a little work it looks like there had been a leak and on wall needs redecorating otherwise the room was lovely .

Very friendly welcome by staff, happy and smiley. Parking is good and rooms nice, comfortable and clean. As mentioned by others the rooms are a bit noisey as they are close to a fairly busy road which does quieten at night and didn’t affect my sleep but double glazed windows would help.
Still a very pleasant stay.

The rooms were well situated for my wedding party and the onsite restaurant was really convenient
6.0
Rooms good, excellent bathroom, great to have a fan in the room. Comfortable bed but noisy main road close outside.
Service good but dinner only average. Limited Sunday evening menu still offering the roasts from lunchtime. The pork belly was smothered in far too much gravy which should have been served separately. The vegetables were overcooked. The Yorkshire Pudding was rock hard but more were brought. Puddings ok but a Creme Brulee should be served warm not cold.
Breakfast was good but no buffet with cereals, juices, fruit
etc.
Overall, very good in some respects but lacking in others.

One of the greatest places we’ve stayed!

Amber greeted us on a very busy Bank holiday Monday lunchtime. We were early for check in but she dealt with us efficiently and courteously. The room was clean and the bed comfortable (I brought my own pillow) however, the bathroom had a nasty smell. The shower curtain needs to be replaced and the toilet flush wasn't efficient - it had a mascerator so that may be the reason. The restaurant was very disappointing with a basic pub grub menu. the mains available were not something I would choose so I ended up having to choose a starter and a side of chips as a main of a rather sloppy crab risotto. Dessert wasn't offered. The waiter on the morning I left was not in the best of moods and I felt I needed to eat up and get out. Basically I am glad to be home

Staff very keen to help, but no food available on the evening on my stay due to the bar/restaurant being closed for another event. No contact made informing me of this, just the poor girl being left to deliver the me the news.
If you struggle with noise then this venue is not the place to stay - traffic noise and noise from adjoining rooms was not blocked out at all.

Lovely clean hotel with a friendly welcome, unfortunately no food available in the evening due to a private function (only made aware of after checking in) Room was nice, however due to only single glazed windows and facing the main road traffic noise could be heard.

Rooms and facilities are fine. Main issue is being no food or bar service the night of arrival, no notice..

We liked the rooms and ease of getting to the bar and the breakfast and choices were excellent

We stayed at The Eaton Oak for two nights as we were attending a wedding at the nearby Bassmead Manor Barn and really enjoyed our stay. Although the accommodation at The Eaton Oak looks to be a recent development it managed to create the warm atmosphere you find in a quaint traditional public house. We also found all the staff really welcoming and friendly. Will definitely stay here again if ever in the neighbourhood.

The Eaton hotel is a fantastic stay with cozy room and phenomenal staff. The rooms are better than most Pub stays and have updated furniture and amenities. The hotel is close to the city center if you are traveling by car or bike but a quick bus will also get you there in no time. Food served at the hotel is amazing. I had an excellent curry and a good old full English in the morning (comes with room). Most important were the staff though. I was on a small bike tour and had a full breakdown in a a storm. The incredibly kind and friendly staff got me to my room early and even had some tools on hand to help get me repaired and ready to leave the next day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through or to the St. Neots area. A phenomenal find. Cheers!

Rooms were clean, well equipped, and easy to find. No particular charm, but certainly convenient. It was nice to have the bar and restaurant on site, and breakfast was good. I would stay here again, as a one night stop off because it was easy and pleasant. There was some road noise as rooms are on quite a busy road, but this didnt interfere with sleeping.

Have stayed here quite a few times now and am always happy. Service staff and food are always great the only thing that lets it down is not being able to get breakfast before 8am.

Arrived to be meet by very friendly member of staff who escorted me to the room and gave me quick overview of facilities. As usual room has tea / coffee but rather than the usual Nescafe have premium brands and real milk!
We took evening meal at the pub and I must say the pie was outstanding, not really sure how they got that much meat into it. Breakfast was included but be warned the full breakfast is huge but again was of high quality. Again all staff were very friendly and helpful would stay again if in the area.

Nice room and evening meal but breakfast disappointing. Good choice of cooked breakfasts but no offer of cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast etc.

The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and the staff couldn't have been more delightful. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the pub. Only downside to the great location just off the A1 but this meant the bedrooms are really noisy.

Our room had plenty of space and was comfortable and clean. There was a great selection of breakfast that was included in the overall price. Service was friendly and the whole thing was a great experience

Room was great lovely and clean however I feel the customer relations needs some work ,felt like the manager didn’t want to be there, also the breakfast was ok , but the eggs looked like they had been in a car crash and poorly served

This was our third stay - rooms great, breakfast great. Evening meal not to the standard of previous stays.
Dining area quite noisy but it was a Saturday.
Convenient locatio.
Staying again in September.

Although obviously refurbished some areas still need attention

We had a lovely night. The staff were really friendly. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. They supplied tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. It was really quiet. The breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay: quiet, comfortable and modern "pub with rooms". We ate in and really enjoyed dinner in the conservatory; the next morning, breakfasts were made to order and we were very happy with the luxury fruit and granola option. Coffees were among the best we've had all trip. The only oversight was the improperly cleaned bath, where the lower shower head (over the bath) had been left pointing in to the bathroom. Pressing its button made for an instant high-powered dousing over the top of the bath and on to the floor, but at least in sorting it, the various hairs etc were dealt to as well.
5.0
Good standard of accommodation. Some traffic noise but not too bad. Plenty of choice for breakfast but service rather slow. Ideal location for easy access to A1 and
St Neots town centre.
