Good breakfast but limited to a cooked breakfast. Only orange juice and coffee available had to ask for tea.
The room was horrendous, didn't sleep due to the heat and noise as we were near the function room.

Lovely stay, the staff are great and the breakfasts are outstanding.
Didn't get the home made hash browns or black pudding this time...

Easy free parking close to the town. Helpful staff. Good food. Very clean.
Whirlpool bath didn't work and I wasn't told that when I checked in. Would have been a really nice experience. No breakfast served during the week - perhaps could offer pastries or something?
4.5
Nice features and recently updated.
Sash windows noisey due to wind. The shower in my room had a slight issue with water leaking from the joint in the head.

Felt welcoming when you walked in. Staff were fabulous and food was lovely as well.
The bed was very firm. Too firm for me, but that is personal taste.
3.5
Extremely clean said my wife, who values that above all else!
The bed, though king sized, might have been a little softer, a very minor quibble.
The main factor against, and what stopped an even better rating, was the lack of breakfast being available.
C’est la vie!
2.0
Comfortable bed and decent size comfortable pillows
Parking available
Nice big bath towels
Nice smelling soap and shampoo
No outside lighting so hotel looked as though it was closed; subdued lighting inside not suitable for visitors with mobility issues
No staff on reception ( although to be fair she was getting a drink for another visitor)
Breakfast not available
Shower hard to work out how to turn on
Friendly receptionist although she didn’t volunteer her name
3.5
Lovely building and public areas. Friendly staff.
It was geared up for Christmas and the only thing I could eat was a 2 course minimum
Christmas dinner. I was solo and working so would have been more grateful to have something simple. There was a burger menu but nothing veggie. Nice to have a complimentary breakfast.

Bath and bed fantastic
One young man behind the bar when we came down at 5.30pm was surley and didn’t know which were light and which dark beers. He didn’t ask if I wanted ice in my drink. Young lady was great

One of the Barmen was obnoxious!
Young with a goatee beard!

Arrived on a monday to find Kitchen closed. There didn't seem to be any staff around at all?

Easy to get to and good parking
Bit tired on the inside. Carpets on stairs to rooms were dirty and need replacing. Room was clean but needed a deep carpet clean. We paid £20 more for a superior room abs the only difference was a 4 poster bed! It’s a 10 min walk from the town centre. Breakfast was a croissant, yoghurt and fruit delivered to your room in a brown takeaway bag. No hot breakfast offered on weekdays.

wonderfully pretty hotel with great rooms m, bar area and a fantastic front patio
we got a free bag for breakfast with a croissant, yoghurt and fresh fruit but it jacked a bottle of juice and maybe ham and butter for the croissant would pay a little more for this

Breakfast was as expected, but would have liked a 'full English. '
Bar/restaurant was good, but the menu was disappointing. Some dishes were not available! Choices were uninspiring!
Top prices, but food and choices were poor. I wouldn't choose to eat there if I was local

Room was comfortable with all good amenities.
Restaurant in the evening stopped taking food orders at 19:45h, which we thought was a bit early & due to other commitments we had to look elsewhere to eat.
No information when checking in about breakfast availability.
We left at about 09:00h & there was no sign of any staff anywhere.

Very smart hotel with nice rooms. All the staff we saw were pleasant & helpful. Good location, a short distance from the town centre, & on the bus route to Cambridge.
We were disappointed to be told on arrival that a cooked breakfast is not available on weekdays. The complimentary breakfast bag was OK, but sitting on the edge of the bed to eat is no substitute for sitting in a dining room. This took the edge off our special few days away.

It's on the outskirts of St Ives but a short walk in. I didn't have breakfast there. I had a good stay and will return.

A very warm welcome awaits guests at this impressive property that is a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Spotlessly clean throughout, comfortable bedroom and a delicious breakfast in the bar and lounge area; highly recommended.

Overall a nice stay but very disappointed ….. very very disappointed there was no cooked breakfast. Room was nice and the shower was good. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness. Evening meal was nice although we had to have it in the bar, not a big deal really
A cooked breakfast

Location. Parking.
No heating in room 15. Staff were told. They said they would fire boilers up but never did. They added electric radiator which helped but insufficient on its own to heat room and ensuite. We had to buy fan heater to warm room.
Breakfast was only continental in our room on day 1 and full English on day 2 though they couldn't arrange scrambled eggs.
4.5
lovely environment, beautifully decorated, super clean, fab staff
hard pillows, couldn’t get the water hot
4.5
Place was excellent breakfast very good.
Windows in room only single glazed meaning lots of condensation.
3.5
Lovely small hotel. Bar. Location. Parking. Huge bed but 4 poster too big for room.
Breakfast in a paper bag. The hotel should think about at least offering self serve continental breakfast with hot drink machine in the bar area.
2.5
Breakfast box left at door it was ok .Clean room
The tub did not have a plug so could not actually have a bath.
Music was rather loud until late.
Worst in the morning no hallway or stairs case lights in the dark freezing morning so missed last step of staircase and tripped with all luggage. No staff to be seen anywhere
1.5
Decent ensuite in room. Bed was comfy.
Not a luxury stay. Cold room, radiator not working, found radiator knob on floor.
No cooked breakfast which was unexpected, just a bag of cold goods.
Went downstairs at gone 8am and deserted/dark, like the whole place hadn't woken up yet - was looking for the restaurant and the cooked breakfast. Neither was evident.

- Room booked for the wife who was travelling alone. This comes from her.
Disappointed, putting it frankly. The visit was during the week, so don’t know if its any better at the weekend.
As a former resident of the area, it was no brainer for me not to book into Slepe Hall when I needed a room in the area for the night. How wrong was I.
Why?
There was no designated parking for residents and when I arrived was forced to park the car out on the street, until the car park became vacant of other users at the hotel for evening visit.
The room although ok in size but was really cold overnight despite having the heating on full blast.
The hotel was at least half empty (based on the lack of cars in the parking area in the morning) I was placed in a room directly over a bar, with speakers directly below, which didn’t turn off until around 11pm.
Although there is no meal option - it has a kitchen use it for breakfast. Otherwise to be honest might as well pay the likes of Travellodge etc .
But what really made me cross was:
On going down to Reception to leave my key, in the dark, in the morning, finding that clearly no-one was on site during the night as note had been left saying if there is a problem to ring a number.
As alone woman travelling and staying in what I thought was a proper hotel filled me with dread and I shuddered (and i don't scare easily) at the thought, as I was in a hotel, not my in hometown not near any family and on my own and should have needed help I would have had to go down to Reception and ring a number for assistance.
And to be honest you don’t necessarily need to be alone woman to necessarily need to help at times
It was like a boarding house.

great hotel. very comfortable. fab food.
