Our stay was wonderful! The power got knocked out from the snow storm and the manager gave us a refund for that day without us even asking. She answered all questions and we really enjoyed our stay!

The bed was horrible. The sheets kept coming off. It is an adorable room, but the cleanliness could have been better.

This place was quirky, but a great deal! We stayed in room 10, which was spacious. The beds were comfortable and cozy. A white noise machine was provided, which was a great touch. To get to this room, you have to go through the building and to the outside, then into the room. This wasn’t a big deal for us. There was also a step up into the bathroom, which was a bit odd, but no biggie. The only negative for me was that there was some clear water damage in places, including some water seeping up through the floor in the middle of the open space. I hope the property owners address that in the future, because other than that, it was awesome, especially for the price point!

Room was clean and comfortable. Wasn’t expecting room to be so small, but all good

We stayed 2 nights in Rm 7, 9’x11’ room twin beds no bathroom no shower. You must take the only key and use down the hallway with the key. You do get use to having to go shower and restroom in 2 different rooms. It’s like a hostel not a lodge. We had a refrigerator and microwave coffee pot tv all stacked in corner so that was nice. I’m not sure what the other rooms are like but rm #6 seemed just like ours too. They need to oil the doors in 6 because they wake you up from a dead sleep at 4am!! We will stay there again because for the price it’s good for the area and all we did was the Alpine Loop so in and out. Just know what those rooms are like and you’ll like it overall as we did!!
4.0
Small room but adequate for the price and for the one night that we were there felt very comfortable. But if you were there for a longer stay, it would be a little cramped.
Very clean addition of a small refrigerator or microwave and coffee machine were helpful for, our trip

Overall, the property was decent where we didn’t lack anything. All the rooms appear to have private separate bedrooms which was a bit inconvenient but it was to ourselves so there was privacy. Clean toilet/shower. Quiet. I would stay here again if I’m in Silverton.

I booked for 3 adult, we were assigned room #8, which is 8x10(prison cell), with bunk bed. No closet no drawers.
I called the emergency number given in the checkin envelope, with no response.
Next night paid extra to get room #10 with squeaky bed and no space to hang clothes or drawers.
Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Super cute spot! Room was a little small, but not a deterrent.

This is an affordable place in an area that is generally very expensive. The rooms are small but clean with comfortable beds. Bathrooms are private but located outside rooms. Everything is pretty well updated and wifi worked consistently. When we stayed, another guest was causing a lot of problems and the manager was quick to respond and handle the situation, which was nice. A decent place for a night, like an elevated hostel.

They had to bring me a fresh set of sheets as the ones that were on the bed showed signs of someone having already slept in them.
Other than that, it was a good deal for what it is, a comfortable place to sleep and shower.

I knew that the lodge was a converted hostel. My room had a detached shower and toilet - as advertised - down the hall, my room key opened them. Check in was at a different motel. The room was small, and cheaper than others in town.
It is a minimal accommodation, but I did not want to camp that night - and I knew what I was getting in advance.

Pros: best price point in Silverton. Right downtown. Great and friendly front desk staff. Room had fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.
Cons: We just wanted a comfortable bed and warm shower in between a long camping trip. However the sheets did not fit the bed, so as soon as you tried to sit or lay down, they popped off, making it difficult to sleep with bunched sheets. You could touch all four walls from sitting on the bed, but they do disclaim the room size on the website. Next, they had a shampoo/conditioner/body wash wall mount, but that didn’t work, and all they supplied was a tube of shampoo and a bar of soap. Lastly, we had no hot water any time we tried to shower in the morning.
All in all, I would not recommend this lodging. However, this business also owns Triangle and Prospector Motel, both of which I’ve stayed at and would recommend!

The room was very small with few amenities. There was no tissues, no hairdryer, poor lighting, the bed was against the wall and hard to get out of, I had to put batteries in the thermostat, no place to put anything, and no place to sit. Very poor for the cost.
4.0
Room was clean, but extremely small. The bed filled up most of the room. For the cost ($170 per night), it wasn’t worth it. Checking into the hotel from a different hotel was also odd (The Triangle hotel) but they are pretty close so not a huge deal. Overall the stay was fine, no issues with the room.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is small but efficient. No air conditioning, but the night was cool enough to need to shut the window in the wee hours of the morning. The bathroom was private just for us, but it was across the hall. Not too big a deal for us, though we are at that age of needing night-time potty breaks! No hair dryer, if that matters to you. Ample hot water and great water pressure for the shower! Our room had a twin bunk over our bed, which made for low head room while in bed, but it worked out great b/c it gave us an out-of-the-way place to store all our bags and stuff. Had a small fridge with a tiny freezer, which was great for re-freezing the ice packs for our food bag. Also had a microwave! Might have been a little too small for a long stay or if we were large, but it was fine for one night! Location was excellent! Quiet and peaceful at night. Would definitely stay here again if back for a short visit or traveling alone!

The cleaner they use is way too strong smelling. My eyes burned the whole time from it. Our bathroom was across the hall, which is weird and not the most convenient. But the room had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

Nice property however I didn’t like the bathroom down the hall situation.

Nice place, great location, (is there a bad location in Silverton;), clean, all very nice in all of those categories. Issue was the room was tiny. For the money it wasn't worth it. Booked it as it was a weekend and I wasn't sure that I would find something showing up early evening. It may have been my fault, maybe I didn't look at the ad close enough, but it did not look anywhere near as small as it was.
So, great place, not worth the price for the size of the room.

Decent and clean facility for price, especially for area

It was a tiny but amazing room. Everything thing was so clean and utilized the space extremely well. I would definitely go there again.
4.0
Clean and accommodated a late checkin effectively
But room DID not have a light over the sink with the sole Mirror in the room which made grooming a challenge
Also use’s keys without instructions on how to return

The floors never got vacuumed

Staff was friendly and the room although very small was clean. Rooms 6 and 7 have private showers and bathrooms down the hall. We did upgrade to a room with a bathroom in the room. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet but the property was in need of a landscaper. Doors into the hotel were not locked day or night.

It was tiny room hard walking around the room. Only fit thing was bed.

Great price and comfortable. Supermeasy check in and out. Dedinitely would stay again.

The room was too expensive for what it was. It was a tiny room with one outlet and no room for our stuff. Shared bathroom down the hall. It was clean.

Staff called us since we were coming into town later. The room is small but just what we needed for 1 night. Clean and comfortable. The room has a window despite what other reviews said. The bathroom does not but it’s a bathroom in what is basically a very clean and private hostel. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a hostel type of property. It was very clean. Minor improvements: a garbage can in the main room and a lamp. The room was a good size. It was quiet and the staff was very nice. Cory was great to work with. It was probably the best shower of my trip. Great pressure and plenty of hot water.

Thanks for everything!!!

We arrived really late and they left envelopes for check-in. Parking was easy and the lodge is right in town near shops and restaurants.
The place is clean and comfortable. The room is small so just enough space to sleeping or hanging out on the bed. As long as that’s ok the place is great for the price.

Great location to everything in town
Cozy, warm, and very clean.

It was like 11 degrees outside so it was cold. I could not adjust the thermostat, so I slept with my clothes on. Also, the remote to the TV was not working. The cleaning people should check them and replace the batteries but they also left an envelope for me to give a tip, which I did not because it was not justified in doing so. I rent the room and they get paid from rental income.

Excellent service. Excellent location to enjoy the San Juan Mountains. Skiing, Snowmobiling, Ice Skating, Hiking, and more

Cory was awesome 100 will come back and stay.

No instructions on how to find the shower or restroom. I ally found an online review which gave clues. There are two closets in the back with narrow doors- both numbered 6. One is a restroom and one is a shower. The rooms are extremely small and claustrophobic. It’s like a dorm basically.

Very happy with the whole experience. Would definitely stay again. Clean, nice comfortable and nice people.

We stayed in the Kendall Mountain Suite (upstairs apartment) for a couple of days and couldn't have been happier with our room. It was super comfortable for us + our 2 dogs and you get a ton of value and space for the price. We will definitely be back!
1.0
Very overpriced. 100 dollar for a smelly room of 8m2 with 2 beds, a fridge, microwave and coffemachine on top of it. No nightlamp not a (small) table to place your phone or book. No curtains for the window only blinds that didn't work. Toilet and shower further on in the hallway. Never ever again in this jail look a like.
