Stayed for a week in Nov 2024 as a couple. Hotel was a few yards of 2 of the key drop off and pick up points. Seamless check in. Tasteful styling and modern decor. Hotel room was a great size for a week with comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Breakfast was good for a hotel. Would stay again if in the city. Very, very short walk to the main stretch (2 min) and well positioned.

Amazing hotel with the most wonderful staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.
Their breakfast buffet is by far the best I’ve ever had !!!
Close to everything and most importantly, the black and white bathrooms were gorgeous !!!!

I signed up for a small fee upgrade for early check in. Our plane touched down at 6am, taxi was waiting for us (prearranged by hotel) and we arrived at hotel at 7am. Early check in entitled us to noon, versus standard 3pm. However our room was available, so they let us go up and that was so appreciated since we had red eye flight and nothing to do until noon. GREAT breakfast included as well!

Hotel Reykjavik Saga is an excellent choice for your stay in Iceland. Its great location allows easy access to bus stops, taxis, and all the attractions Reykjavik has to offer, all within walking distance. The rooms are beautiful and impeccably clean. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful, making you feel right at home. The breakfast buffet is delightful, with a variety of options to suit everyone’s tastes. Thank you, Hotel Reykjavik Saga, for making our stay in Iceland so wonderful!

Quiet, comfortable room with an excellent breakfast selection. The hotel is right across the street from Bus Stop #2 (The Tjorn/Pond), which made it very convenient when arriving late at night. Easy walk to the House of Collections, the Settlement Exhibition, and the Hafnarhus (part of the art museum). There is also a 10-11 convenient store just up around the corner that is open 24 hours-friendly on the wallet. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great hotel, the location is very convenient. A few minute walk to anything in town. The property is super clean and well kept. The breakfast was fantastic and well worth the extra money during our stay. My only gripe is the rooms are very small and can get really warm at night. But the bed was super comfortable so it made up for it. Overall well worth the money and I woukd definitely come back.

Desk personnel very confused and billing for rooms wrong-desk billing is in dispute due to desk-called to correct but said need to use e mail only

The best option for waking to a good selection of restaurants and shopping. It also has a very good restaurant for dinner! The morning buffet is excellent

I had a beautiful five night stay at the Hotel Reykjavik Saga at the end of August. My room was a very nice corner room on the fourth floor. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Parking was a little challenging as there is only on-street parking, but I found a space in the most inexpensive zone. I would have no problem recommending this beautiful property and look forward to Stephan.

Try he hotel was clean , the front desk could have helped more. As there is NO parking available at this hotel you have to go look fir parking I. The right zones for the right times and get up early to feed the meters. Closest long term parking was 2 blocks away and lugging your suitcases in the wind and cold was not pleasurable. Of course with no thanks to front desk we stumbled on this the last day!

A lady w glasses helped us carrying our 2 luggages. Thus Thank you !!.
The rests are fakes as they know nothing of loading zones to unload or load luggages .Very inconvenient for travelers weary of long journey to unload luggages.

Terrific modern luxury property in the heart of Reykjavik.
I was looking for a modern property that was more like a western hotel after my family at four landed from an overnight flight from the United States. Reykjavik Saga absolutely delivered! Terrific hotel, with beautiful rooms, conveniently located to the heart of town, very responsive, friendly staff, and, truly a restful experience. We had a deluxe room via Expedia with a great rate - I wish we had more time in the room! Corner room with a huge bathroom. Double walls of windows.
Hotel also has a lovely roof deck, nice small basement gym and relaxation room. We didn’t get breakfast (plenty of places within walking) but it looked great too. It is a bit more expensive than some of the other hotels, but it’s worth the extra dollars if you have it.
Strongly recommend.

The location was great as base for our day trips. Breakfast was wonderful with a lot of options. Minor frustration was the overly complicated lighting. Only way to way to make it completely dark was to take out the card from the wall slot, but then couldn’t have the light on in the toilet area when needed. Would definitely stay here again.

It was our first trip to Iceland and this hotel made our trip even more outstanding. The hotel has a cool vibe and our room was glorious after a rough few days traveling and sleeping in not so comfy places. We are going back and this is will be our preferred hotel. Absolutely wonderful!

The hotel was in a great area and the staff was wonderful! The only downside to this hotel was the fact that there was no elevator. Carrying full suitcases up and down stairwells was a little unexpected.

The hotel was located in a great location. The only issue we had with our room was that my wife and myself like to sleep in a cool room but the lowest setting was 68. The windows did open and that was very helpful. All staff was great and very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Room was a bit small not much hanging space more space for a small suitcase.
