About this cabin rental
Welcome to Meadowlark Cabin! Here you'll find a classically remodeled chalet style cabin with large windows that bring expansive views of the surrounding pines and the meadow. The fireplace, games, 55-inch HDTV with streaming services and an extra TV with an extensive VHS collection in the upstairs loft makes it easy to stay cozy and entertained on those long winter nights, while the large deck is perfect for enjoying the outdoors during the summer with a BBQ and gas fire pit for the whole family to enjoy. We want your family to have the perfect stay here, so we provided a pack-and-play, children's toys and books, as well as a high chair, booster seat and eating utensils. You may find that the best entertainment is on the deck where you can watch the deer and the birds meander through the meadow. Have fun with the whole family at this updated and stylish cabin.
The kitchen has been remodeled with new appliances and fully equipped so that you have everything you'll need for your stay. The dining table can comfortably seat 6 with room for 2 more at the breakfast bar. We also have air-conditioning to keep you cool on hot summer days and central heat - in addition to the gas fireplace - to keep you warm on the chilly winter nights.
Sleeping accommodations are generous, with a king-sized bed in the primary suite upstairs, two bedrooms downstairs with a queen bed and twin-size trundle bed, as well as a fold out couch in the upstairs loft.
Bathrooms include shampoo, conditioner and body wash. A hair dryer is also available for guest use.
If you need to get some work done while you're here, we have a desk and high-speed internet to keep you connected and productive. Our cabin is centrally located and easy to find - right off Highway 4 - and has level parking plus a spot in the garage with a plug available to charge your electric vehicle.

Access Information: You will receive check-in instructions, including your access code for entry, 2-4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Please be sure to check your junk/spam email, as sometimes these instructions end up there.
Pet Policy: Well-behaved and housebroken dogs welcomed, but must not be left alone (must be over 1 year old - max 2 dogs) with $50 non-refundable pet fee (please include in your reservation notes how many pets you're bringing, max 2).
Audio/visual cameras are on site (exterior only).
Tenant must be at least 25 years old to rent.
Communication: Property management will contact tenant by their preferred method of communication (personal email, text, etc.) to send a required rental agreement, check-in instructions, etc.
Payment (where applicable): A 2% surcharge (of the total transaction amount) will be added to your transaction charges when your credit card is charged. Upon booking, $300, plus the c/c fee, is due immediately and is charged to the credit card on file. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (if you are booking a stay that is sooner than 30 days from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately & will be charged to your card on file). We will accept payment by check for the final payment, as long as your arrival date is further out than 45 days. If you wish to pay by check, please email our office immediately to advise us NOT to charge your card on file for the final payment. Please note that if your check is not received by the 30 day mark, your credit card on file will be charged, regardless of previous arrangement. All payments are due in full 30 days prior to your arrival.

Meadowlark is a lovely cabin with a relaxing view. We enjoyed our time on the deck and the calm atmosphere inside. The rooms, including the bathrooms, were all clean and nicely decorated, and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and small appliances. We all agreed that we would love to spend another girls' weekend at this charming cabin.

Fully stocked, large cozy home that is very central but with a wilderness feeling, especially with the huge meadow walk & view from the living room, which was great fun in the snow. The Canadian Geese loved it too! A great getaway location. Calaveras State Park is just 4 miles up the road, loads of fun. Just do it!

We had a comfortable stay at Meadowlark and enjoyed several local adventures. The kitchen was well stocked and there were modern amenities including heated bathrooms and surround sound. Big Trees state park was magnificent and there was just enough snow to enjoy some sledding at Alpine snow-park. We also stopped at moaning caverns and Columbia on our way home. Our 8 and 11 year olds had a blast!

This property was more than we expected! Not only was it stunning and homey, we also enjoyed the peace and quiet of this area along with the beautiful nature in our backyard. As busy people, all we needed were to relax and regather ourselves in which we definitely got to do much of that during our stay here. We did not want to return back to reality (work, work, work). =( We're super thankful for the wonderful hosts and their hospitality. They definitely provided us a place my family and I wanted to call "Home".

This property was very clean and we loved all the little attention to detail. Excellent communication! 5 stars deserved! My overall rating of 4 stars is only because the check in time of 4:00 seems pretty late when the check out time is 10:00 which seems really early. This is clearly mentioned in there description and very well communicated during the booking process. I will stay again if those checkin/out times fit our travel plans.

The house was perfect for what we were looking for. Good efficient floor plan, clean, well appointed. Good kitchen with everything you need, well stocked. Great location, but the convenience comes with some drawbacks, as there is road noise from Highway 4.

I stayed here with my children, who are in their 20's, as we enjoyed Big Trees State Park, Lake Alpine, and more. The property is super convenient to the grocery store, restaurants, and more. We enjoyed walking to the local Bistro for dinner and a band one night.
The house is well-equipped and comfortable. If you have little ones, this house is ready with a child-friendly room, kitchen items, and a special loft area with toys. For larger kids, we enjoyed the ping pong table and the surround sound tv and stereo system.
Enjoyed the patio and rested in the hammock while listening to the birds. Friendly reminder, remember your bug spray so you can enjoy the beautiful patio and backyard.
This is a family-friendly home that was perfect for our 5-night getaway.

The Meadowlark cabin is a great little cabin. Rustic and has a true cabin feel but also has upgrades where it counts. New bathrooms, kitchen and carpet. Great location and view of a meadow just seals the deal. Nice and quiet and relaying stay. We will rent again!

This gorgeous cabin is located in a very quiet and convenient location. Easy access to a grocery store and other locate amenities (restaurants / brewery).
The cabin is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals at the cabin. Very comfortable bedrooms, living room and outdoor patio. Smart television with great surround sound and plenty of board / card games (including ping pong) to keep everyone entertained.
Gorgeous "A frame" structure located on a quiet local street. The deck overlooks a large peaceful meadow (we saw a bear one evening meandering through the meadow). Quiet and peaceful location. The garage parking for one vehicle was great.
Located close to the Moaning Caverns and Mercer Caverns. The cabin is located close to a variety of gold country touring attractions including the towns for Murphy, Columbia, Jamestown, Sonora and Twain Harte. For a great hiking experience, the Arnold Rim trail entrance is located a close walking distance from the cabin. Also conveniently located near White Pines Lake that have a beach, swimming, fishing and hiking.
Communication and check-in / check-out process was efficient and quick. We really enjoyed our week long stay at this cabin and will definitely return sometime soon!

This property was perfect for our family winter vacation.
We skiied one day at Big Bear and didnt have too much else planned. Didnt need to. The house was so homey that we just enjoyed relaxing in it. The main living area was perfect for chilling with fireplace, streaming options, music options with surround sound. The table tennis table in the garage was also a fun attraction. Well stocked and so many nice touches throughout.
Im sure that we will return.

The property was very cozy and clean. We came to snowboard, but the weather did not permit it, so we spent three days indoors. Luckily for us, it was here. Ping Pong was a hit. We spent countless hours playing ping pong, beer pong, and all the pongs, lol. 10/10 recommend a stay at this house

This fully updated, gorgeous cabin was THE perfect place for my closest friends and I to unwind, relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoors!
We enjoyed the lovely deck with ample dining area and a cozy fire pit area. The indoor dining area is spacious and the living room furniture is comfortable. The bed were also quite comfortable- even the sleeper sofa with an added air mattress for more support. The spa like bathrooms have vented air and heaters! The owners have created a comfortable sanctuary with every amenity you would need. They truly left nothing forgotten. The kitchen is well equipped - if you forgot something they probably have it in a drawer or cabinet.
I would HIGHLY recommend this amazing Meadowlark Cabin in Arnold.

Stayed here for our anniversary. The location was nice being close to murphys and big trees state park. The home was clean and stocked nicely. It had shampoo and conditioner, body wash, coffee and filters in kitchen. Check in was easy and they were kind to allow us to check in a little early. The back deck was nice to sit and enjoy the fire table. The only bad thing is that highway 4 is right on the other side of the meadow, you can actually see it from the house. I was hoping for a peaceful retreat away from the city and the highway was loud. You can’t hear it from inside but definitely can while outside. I was actually surprised that no one else has not mentioned that information in their review.
