We were really disappointed with our stay in this home. The pictures in the posting do not represent the state of the home. The outdoor area was filthy and unusable, which was the primary reason we booked this stay. The house itself was dirty with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and thick dust on the ceiling fan, among other places. There were ants in the kitchen, crawling on the countertops. We needed towels to shower and there was nothing set out for us. We found them in the dryer, still damp. The towels are stained and need to be replaced. The house itself is run down with stains on the carpet and a musty smell. We reached out to Vacasa, who manages this property, immediately after checking in and still have no resolution 48 hours later (after checking out). We are hoping VRBO can address our poor customer experience and ensure this doesn't happen to someone else in the future.

Clean, natural light, roomy for a small family, well stocked, excellent location: close to the beach, easy walk to main street, and in a cute neighborhood

Conveniently located, great beach access, quiet neighborhood. Furniture was great, access to Roku for movies was nice, mattresses very comfortable, towels plush, although we didn't cook there was lots of kitchenware for cooking.

The house was nice. Good location.
Spacious and clean. I pulled the sheets off the downstairs bed, ready to go into wash. Dishes in dishwasher clean and garbage taken out.
There were a couple of problems.
The light switch in upstairs bathroom sometimes didnt work. The main floor shower door came off its track, caught it just in time and rehung.
Only 1 light bulb in kitchen works. Handle fell off of oven on left side but we were able to reattach. The patio table & furniture was to dirty to use.

This home is comfortable with a short walk to the beach. A few small updates would help justify the cost. Furniture in the living room is sparse and not very comfortable when you want to lounge around with a book on a rainy beach day. The couch is pretty terrible and there are two rather spartan chairs. There’s plenty of space to add better furniture that allows for better relaxation. Isn’t that the point of a beach getaway?
The deck is spacious with a nice view of the woodsy setting, but everything was very dirty so we didn’t spend much time out there. Deck furniture was old, dirty, and very sparse.
Kitchen was well stocked, but seriously, get rid of the plastic plates that aren’t microwave or dishwasher friendly.
A few minor upgrades would help this home tremendously. Manzanita is such a lovely and quiet beach community. One of our favorites!

We stayed for the weekend and had a great time. It's about a 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes to the restaurants/shops. Very serene, forested feel in the neighborhood, and nice for walking the dog around. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed staying in this home. It was very comfortable for 3 adults and the location is great...close to the beach, short walk to town (great food and coffee!), and a very quiet neighborhood. Especially enjoyed the gas fireplace in the living room, and the open kitchen and dining. Very nice, new kitchen appliances. Great natural light.
Would have given a full 5 stars except for the following things, several of which had been mentioned in previous reviews over the past 6 months. We trusted they had been fixed.
This house needs deep cleaning - many cobwebs and the ceiling fans blades were so dirty we didn't dare run it (didn't want to shower the dirt and gunk on our heads). Ants need to be controlled.
House needs dog rugs at all entries. Felt terrible about letting dog in from muddy, sandy yard onto the light colored carpets, but no mat inside any doorway. The carpet was quite dirty when we arrived - no wonder. Found an old carpet runner in a closet and used that at the back door.
Master closet needs to be cleared out so it can be used, and extra linens put on a shelf (rather than stacked on the floor and on old furniture - we didn't use them as unsure if they were clean), and the closet doors put on their tracks.

House was perfect for two adults and two dogs. Really liked the porch off the living room. Kitchen well stocked. Neighborhood very quiet. Short down-hill walk to beach. A little longer walk into town. Would stay at this house again.

Cute cozy house with well stocked kitchen. We especially appreciated the gas fireplace on the cold rainy winter nights.

We absolutely loved staying at Latitude 45. The house was very clean, kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils. Our dogs loved carpeted floors and stairs. The house is located on a quiet street and a short walk to the beach.

Nice quiet location, comfy bed, could use some maintenance.

The location was perfect. Close to walk to beach and to Main Street. The peace and quiet was amazing! No light pollution so star gazing off the deck was spectacular. Very tranquil and would definitely book again. Thank you so much! 😊 thank you for sharing your home! 🙏☀️

Nicely appointed home, close to the beach with lots of light and a nice private front deck. Comfortable upstairs bed and gas fireplace.

The location was awesome! We enjoyed walking to the beach and into town and also enjoyed grilling on the deck. Perfect for two couples and a great spot with dogs. The bed description in the listing is a bit misleading though. It seems to imply one of the rooms has 2 beds when it only has one.

Second time we've stayed here. Nothing fancy, but clean (where it counts—bathroom, kitchen) with a well-equipped kitchen. Master bedroom could use a new set of sheets, and pillow cases that fit the pillows. TV system comes with three remotes and no instructions, so it took some fiddling around to figure it out and we never could access the cables channels (watched Netflix instead). Deck and deck chairs could use a scrub, or replacement. We were happy to have booked it on such short notice, and it did the trick. But a deep cleaning, and new bed linens, would be a welcome upgrade.

The place was fine… but it needs a ‘deep cleaning’ and a ‘refreshing’… hence the 3-stars. Kitchen sink is leaking, remote control doesn’t work despite new batteries, dust on fans, cobwebs everywhere… a good top to bottom cleaning would do wonders! Location is a short walk to town and to beach :)

Latitude 45 was great for our long weekend birthday celebration. The house was as advertised; clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Just a short walk to the beach. Had a bit of an issue with the gas fireplace, but a text to customer service and a quick response remedied the issue. Manzanita is our favorite coastal Oregon town and we'll definitely try to book again for next April's trip.

Overall cleanliness good, However, our only complaints are this is the first Vrbo we have stayed in without coffee for the pot, lacked pepper, no spices at all actually. The remote for the smart tv the small black one did not work on day two we changed batteries but it still did not work. Just want someone to know I could not find a pen to leave a message. Cleanliness was great.

Great getaway for one or two couples. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and are on different levels. The community living spaces are large, bright and open. This house is in the hilly forested part of Manzanita which I love, but this is something to consider for those with small children or any walking difficulties. We brought our dogs.... always appreciate owners who allow this. I wish the back yard area was fully enclosed so I could just let the dogs out without having to stand in the rain to make sure they didn't wander. Overall, well maintained and supplied.

Lots of light in living area. Fairly well stocked kitchen. Walking distance to beach.

Was doing great until storms cut power to the Oregon Coast. Had no power or hot water. Property manager, with a local management office, did not check in to see conditions. We left early but are continually getting messages that dont’t address the power outage. We returned home early. Very disappointing first effort with Vrbo and Vacasa!!

Spacious and clean! The space was perfect for our stay. The downstairs bedroom was small for a king bed, but otherwise a beautiful home.

The best part of staying here is the 3-5 minute walk to the beach. Nice, comfortable and quiet spot.

We come down to Manzanita every year for our anniversary. This VRBO was great because it was a short walk to the beach and into town. We enjoyed the flexibility of having our dogs with us since it was a dog friendly home and the beaches and people in the town are so welcoming to dogs too!

Perfect couple retreat. Cozy, clean, quiet. Has all the amenities required and our dog was happy too! Ended up not using the extra bedroom but nice to have for extra family if needed.
(Did wish it was a bit closer to the beach, I enjoy hearing the waves crashing at night)

The bedroom sheets were dirty when we arrived. You could feel grit and sand all over them along with some dog hair. Hard to imagine the cleaning crew could overlook this. So we stayed up late and washed the sheets. The dryer lint collector was full of lint, dog hair and grit which we cleaned out.. The rest of the property was generally clean.

Short walk to the beach or downtown. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable with well-equipped kitchen. Nice sharp knives (something atypical in a rental). Basically clean with the exception of the carpets. Dog friendly. Would rent again.

Latitude 45 was a great little house nestled in the forested quiet of the Manzanita hills. We could walk 10 minutes to town and beach, and then recuperate with a glass of wine on the second floor deck under the pine and fir boughs.

I've stayed at this vacation home twice this year. Once with 4 members of our family and once with 2 girl friends for a reunion. This house is in a great location and its perfect for a small group. It's a short walk to the beach and a few blocks from the cute downtown. The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies. We had a great time. The only downside is that the downstairs bedroom is not as nice with no windows and a little cramped - we spent all of our time upstairs except for sleeping.
