This place was just what I was looking for for my own wellness retreat. It's quiet and peaceful, with amazing views from sun up to sun down. Inside has everything you need for a long term vacation house. I was able to set up a remote workspace and worked from the house successfully. I would definitely go back!

We wanted a girls weekend to peek into Palm Springs but really head out to Joshua tree.
This house has everything we needed and more! Plenty of space for each of us, beautiful fixtures and so much character. We planned on fire pit and hot tub time but ran out of time! Guess we have to come back!
The thing that made it soooo easy was host Jessica. She answered all our questions so fast, provided great details about the are. Can’t wait to go back!

My family enjoyed the property/location. Quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. The owners did a great job with the house. The check-in/check-out process was also flawless. If you need a desert escape, we highly recommend it.

The kitchen, dining room, and living room are very spacious and open. The living room has a large TV that worked well while casting with our phones. The kitchen very good appliance selection. All LG models and relatively new.
Master bedroom was large, king size bed slept very well, and the bathroom was large enough for two people to be in it at a time.
The two other bedrooms were pretty spacious as well, but we didn’t even use them.
The backyard has a very nice Jacuzzi and a nice fire pit in the middle to where you could look up and see the stars

This is the perfect spot for a relaxing trip. The area is quiet and feels rural but you are minutes away from a supermarket and dozens of boutique shops and restaurants. Just a little hop down the highway is a treasure chest of antique and vintage stores and just beyond that is Palm Springs. There is a fire-pit and a hot tub in the yard along with plenty of shade and a 3 season porch which makes it comfortable no matter the weather. Beds are nice and comfortable and the house is cute and well maintained. We will definitely be coming back.

This home is perfectly located near Joshua Tree National Park and all the local finds. We were in town for the Highway 62 Art Tours and this was the perfect jumping off point for exploring the open studios and the area. The home was super clean and had everything we needed! The hot tub was great. Had great dinners at Grnd Sqrl and Kitchen in the Desert in 29 and at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown. Quiet neighborhood with great star-gazing! Will definitely stay here again!

My partner and I stayed for a week in the beautiful Blue Canyon Paradise property. Coming from Chicago, but having visited the area before, we were looking specifically for a quiet place away from the noise, lights, and general bustle of the city. Blue Canyon did not disappoint!
First, the house is beautifully decorated with photos of desert scenes as well as being incredibly appointed with:
o A large, comfy bed
o 2 bathrooms
o Hot Tub!!
o Washer/Dryer
o Dishwasher
o Garage
o 2x TVs
o Outdoor firepit
o Indoor fireplace
o Shady, screened-in porch with hammock
o Outdoor grill
o Games and puzzles
o Area-specific guidebooks
We took advantage of the hot tub daily (it has lights for nighttime soaks), enjoyed grilling out with the easy-to-use gas grill, and falling asleep on the hammock in the breezy, screened-in porch.
Second, the location is perfect! You are between the east and west entrances to Joshua Tree, and the 49 Palm Oasis hiking trail is within five minutes’ drive of the house.
There’s also easy to access Pioneertown, a very close to a large grocery store in 29 Palms, plus multiple cute artisan shops throughout the JT, Yucca Valley, Morongo Basin area. If you want to go a bit further off the beaten path, it is a great home base for trips to Big Bear or Salton Sea.
And, of course, you are only a half hour from Desert Hot Springs and 45 minutes from Palm Springs and all that that area has to offer. BUT because you are in the upper valley in 29 Palms, it is QUIET and DARK, and you have a great view of the mountains AND the stars. In fact, my partner and I watched the sunrise every morning from the front of the property and the sunset from the back, where we then set up the house-provided telescope for some excellent stargazing and moon pictures.
Finally, the owners are AMAZING: very communicative and VERY knowledgeable about the area with multiple excellent recommendations! We would 1000% recommend to anyone and will ourselves be back next year.

This lovely house had everything we needed for our vacation. It was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated, with an inviting back yard that included a hot tub and a fire pit. The clear night time sky showed off the bright stars to full advantage.
The bed was super comfy and everything was provided, a well appointed kitchen, extra sheets and towels, and even some spices for cooking. We felt right at home.
The area itself is fascinating. We enjoyed a day of exploring Joshua Tree National Park, and then discovered the many murals that decorate local buildings all around the town. There are even a couple of Old West style saloons that serve good food and good drinks in a fun atmosphere.
We had a great time!

We were so happy with this beautifully appointed house. It was a little getaway with my sister and mom, and we had such a nice time. The home had everything we might need, including puzzles, games, appliances, etc., but also a hot tub, which we definitely enjoyed. There were three bedrooms: the master with a king bed, another with a queen and the last with two twin beds. Everything was super clean and beautiful.
Highly recommend!
I also have to recommend a really fun experience we had while in town. We went on a StarGazing Tour (Addicted2Wonder.com) just inside the park, and it was one of the most amazing experiences we have had! Please try this - Joshua Tree is a Level 3 Dark Sky Park and it is a must-see.

This by far was the best place we’ve ever stayed in! From the accommodations, amenities, location, communication to even every detail the owners kindly guided us on. They didn’t miss a beat!
We will be back and have already recommended it to other friends!

Clean, well appointed…and well situated! Convenient to groceries and 29 Palms’ adorable restaurants and bars, as well as Joshua Tree National Park. Took a drive up to Pappy and Harriet’s for a show and we’re back in time for a little hot tub time under the stars! Will stay there again!

Blue Canyon Paradise was just as described yet it also exceeded my expectations. It was centrally located and could not have been better as it was close to everything. It was also very comfortable, cozy and clean. I was so relaxed and at peace here. It was such a great stay and can't wait to be back in the Joshua Tree area again!
