9 min east of Downtown Joshua Tree and 18 min equidistant between the main West Entrance and the less crowded North Entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.
Fully renovated house w/ brand new appliances, AC/Heating, floors, etc
The space:
This newly-renovated and remodeled two bedroom two bath house has all the modern amenities and playful outdoor spaces you could ask for during your stay.
Spend time gazing out at your own private views of Copper Mountain and into the remote desert on our large deck with in-ground hot tub and dipping pool. Relax under dappled sunlight and eucalyptus trees in the "hammock forest." Get bendy on the yoga deck. Cook a feast and share it with friends and family on the large outdoor dining table. Snap some pics in the bathtubs in the desert (available seasonally for soaking and cold water only). Build a fire in the outdoor fire pit, get toasty, roast some marshmallows, stare at the stars, and have some deep talks ‘til the wee hours!
The property also comes with:
Keyless entry smart lock
Comfy king and queen beds
Daybed that converts into the size of a queen bed
Smart TV with access to all streaming apps
Bluetooth sound bar
Mini-split AC/heating units
Original indoor wood burning fireplace
Large dining table that doubles perfectly as a work space
Modern kitchen with a full fridge, a gas stove/oven, dishwasher, and everything you need to make fantastic meals
Coffee maker
Gas outdoor propane BBQ
Refurbished original concrete flooring
Hanging chair on the patio
Native plants throughout the property: desert pine, eucalyptus, and palm trees; our beautiful ocotillo; a still-growing Joshua Tree planted by the original owner in 1985.
Other things to note:
One towel, hand towel, wash cloth, makeup towel, and pool towel provided per guest. Some trash bags, dish soap, detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper have been provided. For more, please visit one of our local markets.
NO SMOKING in the house. Please mind your butts.
Pets: Pre-screened pets are welcome for an additional $35 fee. They must be house-trained and stay off furniture, and out of the outdoor water features.
Road Conditions: The road in off the highway is a quick 1-2 minute drive on dirt. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have dumps and ruts, particularly after it rains. Please take it slow and don't veer too far off the packed dirt and you'll be fine!
Events & Commercial Photoshoots: Not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.
THE DESERT IS WILD!
The remote desert is home to coyotes, spiders, scorpions, wild dogs, snakes, and lots of pokey cacti! You will be fine, just use common sense and be careful.
It's very difficult to keep every bug out, especially if doors/windows are left open or it's been very hot lately. I recommend relying on AC/fans when it's hot because of this.
Temperature and weather extremes are common; including high winds, dust storms, occasional flash floods, and temperatures ranging from the 30s past the 100s Fahrenheit. Also since we are in California, wildfires and earthquakes can happen! Please prepare, plan, dress, hydrate, apply sunscreen, and supervise children, pets, and loved ones accordingly.
** Guests use hot tub, pool, and other amenities at their own risk. Host is not liable for any injuries or damage done. By booking, you are acknowledging this. **

Great place to just enjoy the view.

At first glance you get a little worried because nobody is around but then the quiet sounds of the desert are calming. When the sun starts to set that’s a sight itself that’s not even including the stars at night! The inside was beautiful and I loved the living room. Also, Andrew answered fast if there was any question. You will run into an ant here or there but overall I really enjoyed this place. Highly recommend and definitely a stress reliever. Thanks again Andrew.

A beautiful home with all the amenities you could ask for! A beautiful property to take a stroll, a classic fire pit, grill, hammocks and hot tub set on a beautiful deck. An elegant and modern home that's cozy and stylish. Romantic views of the desert from the master bedroom and private enough to be at peace. The host was very kind and had great communication. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a peaceful getaway to enjoy quality time.
