About this house rental
This is it! A spacious family-sized resort. Perfect for reunions, bridal parties, getaways, retreats, or a relaxing base camp for high adventure in the water and local mountains.
Our well-stocked, organized, and labeled kitchen can handle hosting your holiday meals.
Rock on the front porch, listen to the birds and watch the deer amble through the yard. Pick in season fruit from our blackberry bushes, apple and pear trees. Collect your thoughts in the private office. Enjoy our extensive and ever expanding modern board game library in the large family room or play cornhole in the yard while grilling, or roast marshmallows over the fire pit. Splash in the pool during the warm summer months or cozy up in front of the candlelit fireplace in the living room.
We are 20 min or less from popular wedding venues such as: Cedar Springs, McCormick Woods Golf Course, Elandan Gardens, Gold Mountain Golf Club and the Kitsap Conference Center.
Are you stationed at Bangor Trident Base or the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard? Invite your family to visit! We are less than 25 minutes.
The space
The rooms are clutter free and so relaxing! The main bedroom has a 44 inch television, a king sized memory foam mattress and attached full bathroom. The queen room has a 32 inch television and a memory foam mattress. The bedside table lamps have USB ports to easily charge your devices. Each room also has a luggage rack, plenty of hangers and extra pillows and blankets.
Each of the sleeping rooms have ceiling fans and blackout curtains so you can sleep in - you are on vacation!
The office space has a pull out sofa bed and we have left a variety of books to enjoy as well. Didn't finish the book you started? Take it with you. Leave the one you brought.
The twin bedroom has a trundle, so it can sleep three and there's a basket of children's books in the closet. Enjoy! (Yes, the mattresses are memory foam and oh, so comfortable!) We have provided a bedrail for your toddlers safety as needed.
The couch in the formal living room is a sofa bed - the extra linens are in the laundry room. The leather couches in the great room are also pretty cozy if you just need to squeeze in one more - or you forgot your earplugs and your spouse snores!
I have tried to think of everything you may need for the kitchen. Please let me know if I've missed something essential! There's serving platters and large bowls for holiday meals, cute coffee mugs, and wine glasses. There's even an InstaPot! The refrigerator has built in cold water and icemaker. The garbage disposal has been disconnected, because, well, garbage disposals are just hard on the septic system, so please just toss your food scraps.
Our family enjoys modern boardgames like Dominion, Azul, Catan, so, of course, we will be building the game library. Check out the picture of our current game library. Foosball, anyone?
The red umbrella covering the outside table has built in solar lights! Thank you for turning it off and closing it after use. I have enjoyed sitting out and watching the birds, the bunnies, and even an occasional deer!
Yes, please, pick and eat the seasonal fruit! The backyard is bordered by blackberries and there are 3 fruit trees in the front yard: 2 types of apple, and plum. There's a pie dish in the kitchen if you like to bake.

It was just as the hosted described ~ lovely house with soooo much space!! Fruit trees, fresh blackberries, corn hole boards were a huge hit!! The pool wasn’t used due to the rain ~ but surely would have been. It was a fantastic experience and beautiful home!! So glad that it worked out so well for our family celebrating our son’s wedding.
Thank you again God's blessings always

We loved everything about our stay. It easily accommodated 7 adults who like their own space. It also was perfect for hosting a larger gathering for dinner. There are so many different spaces both inside and outdoors to enjoy. The owner was very proactive and easy to reach. I would definitely come back!

We booked this lovely home so that we could spend time with family in the immediate area. Plenty of gathering spaces for our visiting local relatives, handy kitchen and accessories to make and serve numerous meals, and the bonus was the pool. What better way to spend time in the crazy heat wave!
Angela was the perfect host. Quick responses to my questions before and during our rental. Also unexpected things were taken care of immediately by their handy man David.
Thank you Angela for making our family get-together so easy!

We stayed here the weekend of our wedding with our entire wedding party. Its so spacious and the yard is beautiful and private. We were able to have friends and family over for the rehersal dinner and to celebrate us. I couldn't think of a better place for it! The host was wonderful to talk to and I dont have a single negative thing to say.
THANK YOU for having us!

Spacious and peaceful home with all the amenities! Home away from home! Easy directions to find and host communicated well with entry and stay details. No issues at all! It was the first warmer week of summer and the pool was cool - but ready to go and open! My husband and kids enjoyed - especially after being sunburnt on some beautiful hikes in the area. Close location to groceries, ferry and beautiful state park! Really enjoyed our week at this home.

Our visit was terrific for our large family. Lots of room, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen with labels on cabinets. That was genius!
The house was close to everything in Port Orchard, and several visits were made: Tacoma, Seattle, the Olympic National Park. We made a puzzle, watched a movie and were able to enjoy several events surrounding a family wedding. Great Host!

This Vrbo was better than advertised. Our family from different states met up and stayed here for my step daughter's wedding. We enjoyed playing and resting in the game/tv room, many talks on the front porch, family meals in the dinning room, a"polar plunge" in the swimming pool, and cooked together in the spacious kitchen. The only hiccup was that my 75yo Mother couldn't go up the stairs, however, she stated that she was quite comfortable on the couch downstairs. Would rent this again!

nice house, clean, no issues, east coasters should be aware there is no AC, but not really needed.

Kiddos loved the pool. There was plenty of room and plenty to do just at the house. Close to town and shops. Would definitely stay here again!

This property is tucked away on a private lane in a quiet neighborhood. The yard is huge, we played football, softball and any number of games could be enjoyed either in the front or large backyard. The home was incredibly clean, from top to bottom, which is a very big deal in the shared home industry, I so appreciate how clean it was. Everything is very well marked and easy to find. The beds are comfortable, all bedrooms are upstairs. Additionally, there is a great amount of hot water...something really necessary when you have four bedrooms, laundry and a nice kitchen for cooking. This is a great place to stay, it felt like a home and we really enjoyed being there.

Angela's place was our rendezvous point to relax, lay our head, and gather with family. The home is clean, well stocked, and in a quiet neighborhood. Angela responds quickly to questions and/or concerns. If we are ever back in the area, we'll highly consider staying at this location again.

I enjoyed this property and highly recommend it. The house is spacious and it has a large front and large back yard. It is in a somewhat rural area and the area is very quiet at all times, which I enjoyed. The owners were very pleasant to deal with. 5 stars all the way!

We were traveling to see our daughter and new grandson. Loved this house! It was very clean and comfortable. Our host, Angela, was very responsive when we had a question. I love that everything in the kitchen was labeled so that we didn’t have to search for items! Perfect stay! Would definitely come back!

This is a beautiful home and the owner is one of the most compassionate, empathetic people I've met. She's help me through a deep grieving process by making our stay easy and friendly. All amenities that you could ask for, a clean luxurious space, but best of all, for me... the kitchen was labeled! I've got ADD so organization is difficult and that made my stay all the less stressful. The location had beautiful scenery and the drive was idyllic. I felt so safe there, which was a huge deal considering the chaos we had setting up the memorial. Highly recommended.
