Basically a state of the art facility, great art in the hallways, quiet rooms while i was there, good coffee. Excellent value.

Good surprise at an excellent value for money

Clean, modern and well located few mins by walk from the center and the main markets. If you are coming from San Jose del Pacífico the hostel is right across the bus terminal! Lots of beautiful art pieces/drawings are displayed on the walls. The dorm beds are very comfy and included a power point, night light, and night table. Free water, tea and coffee. Rootop nice for some fresh air.

There was no paper toilet in the toilets on the rooftop for few days in a row despite seeing the cleaning lady there. The showers and sink are on the main floor and there are cameras everywhere which allows little privacy when you want to brush your teeth or take a shower. In addition there is no much space in the shower to put your clothes and keep them away from the water. It’s also a bit of a shame that you don’t get a view from the rooftop as it is walled up (if you pass your head over the wall there is an beautiful view).

Having towels included, early check in, general flexibility and chill nature of the staff were great. Also right next to bus station and taxis and a short walk to the main square which had a load of great street food stalls and little markets dotted along it.

They could do better advertising their rooftop space as it's views were great. The downstairs room could be made into a more soical space if they had a sofa and sole beers.

Nice terrace, lazy staff. Disappointed.

The location and the terrace was nice

Coffee, water was supposed to be free but there was nothing because of the laziness of the staff. Hot water barely existed.

Very poor

The price is quite fair. The bed is comfortable.

One of the professionals at the hostel assisted me with extreme grudging. The shower took a long time to heat up the water (really long!). The floor is dirty all the time, with people getting in and out of the shower, even in the hallways. The hostel is more beautiful in the photos than in person. The location is not that close to the central square (it's about 8 streets away).

Has the potential but falls short

The hostel seems new enough, the beds are comfortable and the privacy curtains are great. WIFI was strong throughout week.

No chill out/ social area, no water provided or potential to store or buy food on site. Location wasn't great, didn't feel safe walking back from the centre at night. There was only 1 toilet and 1 very small shower. No key or code so coming back at night meant ringing the bell for ages. The reading light in the bed is very very bright and right over your head so it's pretty blinding. Lots of noise from the street and banging from pipes all night. I wished I hadn't booked a week outright as financially I had to stay then.

Superb

Very nice and helpfull staff.Good locality,short walk to centrum (max 10 min).Room is very clean,smells good.Bad has small light,charger spot and curtain,what is cool bcs of privacy. Chill relax place.Non-stop reception is working good.Fresh good coffee every day for free,what was nice.Good wi-fi.

perfect

modern, clean and comfortable beds, very good hot shower and toilet in the room, good Wi-Fi. I came early in the morning and the staff checked me in without problems. I stayed there for 3 nights and two of them I was alone in the whole room. It was like a private bedroom for me. Free coffee is available here. The buses are not far from the hostel

Hostel is very clean and well maintained. It is centrally located, very close to the stations of the colectivos and buses that goes to Pochutla, Zipolite, Puerto Escondido, Mexico City etc. Beds in dormitory are spacious and it has a kind of privacy with the curtain, your own light and electrical outlet. Also, it has hot water in the bathroom :)

Comfy beds, privacy, quiet space, super clean and very friendly staff. The art in the space is beautiful. Location is fab to walk around centro etc Each bed has its own light and plug which is great. Wifi is strong. Bathroom was good and clean.

There is no kitchen facility. Free coffee which is nice of you drink coffee (I don't) no tea or hot water etc available.

Superb

The staff is really caring and always tried to make our stay as easy as possible. There is free coffee and rooms are quite new. Every bed hat a own plug and light and some curtains for additional privacy, which I really liked.

The wifi was a bit weak and the room got a bit messy, even though they cleaned it every day. However, that was during Dia de Muertos where the whole place was fully booked. Before that it was very clean.

Helpful staff, you can see they're making an effort, always offer free coffee, keep the place clean. Generally it's alright.

It's very close to the center but you can find a room in a better area for this price.

Beds were new and this hostal is pretty new Location very central to transport hubs, next to bus station Friendly staff

Neighborhood a bit sketchy at night Lots of mosquitoes Cleaning of common areas could be a bit more frequent Wifi was slow/drops quite often It has the potential to be a great hostel, just need to work on the details

Great place to stay in Oaxaca Downtown!

Friendly and helpful staff, we were in Oaxaca for the Guelaguetza and they were very helpful giving us indications and support while staying there. The hostel has good location, bunk beds with privacy, light and plugs. Clean towels and courtesy coffee included. Beautiful rooftop with an amazing view of Oaxaca.

A kitchen would be good for the hostel.
