I wouldn’t say I need luxury but it was so bad I ended up leaving and finding another motel in the town for the night as it was so bad and I felt so unsafe.
The key didn’t work properly for the room, the lights didn’t work, wasn’t clean, was rubbish pilled up outside the rooms, felt unsafe with no external lights. Staff weren’t helpful and quite rude. One to avoid

The room was clean and the bed was super comfy! I slept so well-better than most four or five start hotels. The blackout curtain was great and kept the light out. The bed sheets and blankets were super cute-very home-like.
The AC unit definitely got cold, but you mostly felt it in the bathroom and by the vanity as it was positioned over there. It was not near the beds. The light for the bathroom was out near the sink and vanity in the main room, which was a little awkward. The lights above the vanity mirror were on the opposite side of the vanity. The soap and complementary products were left on the toilet and not on the counter near the sink. The products looked like they had been used. There was no closet, just some hangers on a rack in the corner of the room. There were lots of plugs, but they were not placed in any logical locations. The carpet was quite worn. The couple who runs the inn are so nice! I would stay here again.

Staff was friendly and kind. Area feels very safe and is quiet. Close to several dining options. Room was perfectly clean, refrigerator and microwave were in good repair. Air conditioner worked very well and the “hum” of the fan was like white noise to keep me asleep!!!

Not a bad stay, you get what you pay for.

Excellent place if you’re planning to stay in LonePine. Quiet and friendly staff.
3bed is excellent option.

OK motel for a one night stop over. The room was clean but furnishings were old and mismatched, and the bed and linens were not luxury. The carpet was worn, and actually taped over in one spot. The A/C unit was loud and was not in the ideal location (nearly next to the bed) to be most effective.

Very basic but good.

This was your basic budget roadside motel. It was clean and I slept well. It was quiet. Easy check in and check out. Room is outdated but it had 3 big beds which was amazing.

Check in was easy. The room was very basic. Price to frills ratio wasn’t that great. Room smelled like incense as did all our stuff upon returning home.

I enjoyed my stay. Quiet, felt safe, had everything you need for a night or two.

A classic older motel just off a classic old-time small town main street. It was all we were looking for. Comfortable. Check in and out was straightforward and the ice machine convenient. Bathroom dated but everything worked fine. Quiet, off the main two-lane highway.
Easy walking a block away to spectacular mountain views and to a good variety of restaurants and cafes.

Great place to stay for the night after Death Valley visit. It is a simple “old school” motel in a small town with eating places within walking distance.

Budget property. Just needed a place to stay after visiting Death Valley.

Easy to get to. Able to walk town to for food and entertainment. Rooms themselves not modern. Sheets and comforter old but clean.

Not sure how this place has received an 8.0/10. The carpets were pretty darn nasty and stained throughout. The bed was honestly probably the worst bed I’ve ever slept on. At least the bathroom was clean, but they only had about an 1/8th roll of toilet paper with no additional rolls. Luckily we were just there to sleep and move on the next day. The person at the front desk was nice enough. I would not stay here again, even at a 1/4 of the cost.

Stained bed sheet, uninviting room, smelly room, mold and mildew on shower curtain, and tub. Shower head spray was unadjustible. No automatic A/C adjustment. I had to get up 5 times to adjust the A/C
Owner has no pride in maintaining his property nor does he care about the customers. Everything is from dollar store, and I am being generous.
THE ABSOLUTE WORST stay out of my lodging experience ever.

I left a satellite device with the plug and a camping pillow and they called me to try to give it back to me. I picket it up 2 days later after my hike and it was in the front desk, I really appreciate the honesty.
The place is simple and clean and you can walk to restaurants great stay for the price. I would go back.
