Pine Tree Harbour is a quiet residential region, with estate-sized cottage lots. Many generations of families have enjoyed this harbour. The harbour is clean, with great fishing for bass, pike, and perch. You can even catch walleye around the corner towards Pine Tree reserve.

There is access to the Johnston Harbour - Pine Tree Point Provincial Nature Reserve, which is managed by the Bruce Peninsula National Park within walking distance from the cottage. This rugged area is gorgeous and much less populated during the summer season than other areas of the Bruce. You can paddle to the shores of this park from the cottage.

The cottage’s location is stunning; right on the lack. The set up for the fire pit is nice and everything is easy to locate. The host has a nice organized portal that you gain access to only after fully paying the money, it lets you know exactly where everything is and what are the rules. Cons: The couches need some serious deep cleaning as they smelled like feet and musty. Even the rugs seemed like they haven’t been deep cleaned for a while. This is surprising considering that the checkout time was 10 am; as they need all that time from 10 am to 4pm to clean. I have asked the host to extend the checkout time to 12:30 but unfortunately was not successful, although on the 2nd dah of our stay the host did contact us to let us know that we can extend a whole extra day; when i again asked to just extend the check out time; the request was ignored. Overall the place is beautiful; but the smell that the cottage had was a bit of a turn off (considering how expensive the place was)

We ended up really enjoying our stay. When we arrived, the house was damp and musty, but after running the dehumidifier for a while, the upstairs was dry and comfortable. But the great thing about this place is the outdoor areas. We had a wonderful time on the rocky areas leading to the water, serving as our own private beach. And the fire pit was a great place to enjoy evening fires and making s'mores. Overall a great place to stay if you like the outdoors and want to have it just out your back door.

Very private, beautiful property. Hot tub was great for relaxing at night. Even though it was cooler out we slept with the window open to hear the waves. Only negative was swimming. All rock and very slippery due to algae. If you had a float you could make it to the deeper water. Overall great place and would stay again and recommend

We had a great time at Delana. I wished that I had a10 year old with me to explore and enjoy the facinating shore line and woods. The deck is perfect for group gatherings. The hot tub was my favourite spot for an eveninng moment of relaxation and reverie. Our host were quick to respond to all our questions. Overall, ideal!

This location is perfect for a family or a small group of friends. It's a large, open cottage with a large living room, two full bathrooms, and a wraparound deck. Lots of seating space around fire pits and on the waterfront. They have everything you'll need: dishes, bedding, dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc, and the bed are comfortable. The property also gets a nice breeze and has multiple ceiling fans that work with the open concept. The property management was very responsive and engaged as well. While I would go again and consider this a great getaway to enjoy a fire, games, drinks with friends, there are a couple of minor negatives. The lake is very rocky and very slippery, so unless you have something to float out on, you won't be going in the water. In addition, the neighbours on the one side, who appear to be owners, are obnoxious. Literally yelling from their cottage to their kids on the lake with a full conversation for four hours straight. And even when they were close to each other, they yelled. Fortunately, they were only there on the weekend. But, if you're there with a group, and actively engaged in chat and music, you shouldn't notice. Make sure to bring water shoes and sandals. The area around the hot tub has a lot of debris, so the sandals help keep it from getting in the tub. And the water shoes help with the slippery nature of the lake rocks. Overall, I would go again but I would likely plan it with another couple.

Our stay was not 5 star and honestly was disappointed with how the cottage was left when we arrived. Be sure to take photos or they will say you're lying. - house was not properly cleaned, the main bedroom had long black hairs on the floors, on the bathroom walls and on the bed - the bunk beds in the main bedroom had what looked like dead bugs on them so we cleaned the bed cover. When pulling off the cover there was a kids tooth flossing stick under the bed which was gross. - the main bedroom bathroom has mold in the shower and on the curtains - the BBQ had a chunk of cooked chicken sitting below it. We had to clean it up along with all the beer bottle caps left on the deck as well as garbage all over the back yard firepit (wet napkins, a fork from the kitchen and an empty bag of chips). - BBQ was not cleaned, it was very dirty and the brush to clean the BBQ had no bristles left on it for us to try and clean ourselves - the two larger burners on the stove don't work, only the two small ones do - the level of water in the hot tub was very low and there was dirt in it. The directions were to add water but to add that much water would throw off the chemicals and we weren't willing to take that risk. This gives off the impression that the hot tub is not maintained so we did not use it even though that is one of the main reasons we chose this cottage -there was something wet that looked like it had rice in it on the stairs going to the basement that we also cleaned up

Peaceful location with wonderful wildlife. Woke to the sounds of a loon each morning. Passed the days watching the gulls dive for fish. This property has wonderful views of the water and plenty of trees to make you feel secluded. We could not want for anything with this property, except for several more days! There is always next year.
