Really lovely accommodation, located in a converted section of the garage. Wonderful hosts, spotlessly clean, great facilities. We both really enjoyed our stay for two nights at My Oasis. Highly recommended ❤️

Everything. It was fun and funky and interesting. Property is well maintained and cared for. Great location, quiet and comfortable. Wi-Fi worked, TVs worked. Special touches like milk shakes, peanut butter toast and a candy machine - all included. Hosts were friendly and fun to chat with. very casual kinda stay, loved looking at the light at the pool, wish it was warmer so I could have used it.
Can’t think of anything.

Nothing, It was so fabulous that you cannot say anything bad...... Go, Go, Go, everybody need to know this place !

Aussergewöhnliche Unterkunft, mal was anderes!

My friend and I stayed here for one night before crossing Death Valley. We found this place randomly on Booking and It was a great discovery. Michael and his wife are two fantastic people, super helpful and friendly. The location is something epic, it feels like we are back in the 1950s taken care of in every detail. I never imagined I would end up in a place like this but the beauty of the road trip is just that you get to know and experience these authenticities. If I go back to California, I will probably visit again! I really recommend it to anyone.

Tout était parfait

Very unique place to stay. So many interesting things to see. Bed was comfortable. Shower was wonderful. Hostess had fun food items available.
Location adds time and miles to get back to the Interstate roadways. Worth it for the fun factor if you're going through Bakersfield.

Es un lugar espectacular, parece que estás en un museo. La anfitriona es súper amable, y te hace todo muy fácil. Te deja cositas para desayunar. Merece mucho la pena.

Everything was perfect and way beyond our expectations. Michael and Rhonda gave us many helpful tips for our stay (in and outside of Bakersfield). The apartment is simply amazing and much attention was paid to the smallest details. We definitely recommend this place and make sure to visit it again when coming back to Southern California.

Very cute Airbnb. Hostess was very nice and showed us how to use everything.
Room was provided items to eat & drink.
Mattress was not comfortable. All spring no memory foam or topper.

The room is very unique that gives a feel of the 50s. It is a great experience more than just accommodation for a night. The hosts provided milk, vanilla ice cream and syrups for making milk shake. Also tea, coffee and simple breakfast items. The host explained clearly how to use the appliances. I enjoyed all that provided, which made my stay very comfortable.
The heater is too noisy to sleep with it on. There were three layers of blankets in the bed that kept me warm through the night. So I had no problem sleeping after turning off the heater.

No real breakfast. Coffee and various food items were available. The bathroom was new, clean and convenient. Understand: The Oasis was perhaps the most unusual, fun and eclectic places I’ve stayed. Very reasonable pricing, likable hostess, clean private property and a fun environment.
The property is decorated with antiques and ‘50’s/‘60’s memorabilia, lots of it. Fun. But the 50’s refrigerator was a bit noisy at night. The bathroom door hinges squeaked loudly. We like things quiet as we live in a quiet rural location. But not deal breakers. We did enjoy ourselves there.

This is a single room homestay (no other guests). The room was tidy and had all amenties needed, the host Michael was very generous and even helped us with our laundry. The room is decorated in a 60's theme which was very unique.
None, it was great.

An absolutely unique place to stay and definitely worth visiting if you get the chance! Clean and tidy, with breakfast to prepare yourself (toast, jam, butter, peanut butter, coffee, tea) plus on arrival we were served milkshakes, perfectly fitting to the room designed to the last detail in 1950’s classic design! There is even an authentic m&m dispenser for the quick snack on the go with three different types of m&m’s! We absolutely loved it and will be back if we get the chance 😊
Nothing! Everything was perfect

Everything. One of the best, if not the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. Rhonda and Mick are absolutely delightful people and the best hosts. They were so incredibly thoughtful and make sure you have everything you need and more. Would go back in a heartbeat.

I love cars, motorcycles, Betty Boop and all things retro. It was cozy and the bed was comfy. The space is huge and bathroom modern. The price for our stay was exceptionally great value. Our hosts were fantastic and the property is immaculate.

Lovely host and a really unique place to stay! I would say the pictures don't do it justice once you've seen it in person. Very 50's styled with loads of nice touches and quirks.

absolutely incredible property. Decoration was stunning, the owners are very kind, and took their time to show us around.
you get your own 4 walls, own entrance and parking, so it feels very private.
there’s some original furnitures from the 50s and 60s, still working to this day!!
you won’t regret staying here while in Bakersfield!
