Great location especially if you have a good sea view.
The stairs! We were put on the 4th floor!! There was a lift to the 3rd floor, then a lot of stairs to the 4th. The lift stopped a couple of times on the way up and it only fits one person in it! It also is out of use after 9pm!
I’d say the rooms are adequate but no more, it could be relatively cheap and easy to give the rooms a new lease of life.

Requested a gound floor room as restricted mobility & we were informed the lift was out of order for our stay
this was no trouble or problem & it was all ready for us when we arrived. They upgraded us from a twin & put us in a family room, very quiet lovely spacious room very clean& warm. Amenities in room were very generous & bery appreciated. We had a Great breakfast with lots of choice. Nothing was too much trouble , the staff were very welcoming. Will definitely be using again.

It was in a convenient location
My room was in the attic and the lift wasn’t working. The shower room was so cramped that it wasn’t possible to use the toilet with the door closed. I’m used to thin toilet paper but the paper in this hotel was the worst yet.

Staff were exceptional. Went above and beyond. Bed was extremely comfy
Bar wasn't open when we got back to hotel at 9pm. Lift was switched off at 9pm.

It all met my expectations.

Breakfast at a sister hotel due to staff illness
The bed creaks, and the mattress could really do with replacement!

Clean and looks like they was in the middle of repairing bathroom door . But the room was clean and Seaview was a perfect weekend specially after a long day hiking.
Bathroom door and surrounding needed finishing off. 2nd night no hand towels but it was basic clean room and friendly host..... and no breakfast on site. It was at a sister hotel.

The room was spacious and had the bonus of a sea view bay window with good views of the seafront. Beds were very comfortable and the room very clean. Bonus of a small lift for any one with mobility issues. Will stay again when in the area.
Breakfast was very good much better than a lot of places we have used, only problem being was that it was at the sister hotel. The hotel was a good 10 minute walk away, the weather was dry at the time so we had no problem.

It was a very convenient place to stay.
I had requested no more than one flight of stairs because of our old dog and we were put into a room on the ground floor which made life much easier for her thank you.
The clean shower mat was left in the hand basin but with a dripping tap this meant that it was absolutely soaked through. I think the bathroom would of benefitted from a quick dust of the skirtings etc.
I'm sorry that the chef was ill as we had to walk to a sister hotel for our breakfast in the pouring rain ( I know it's February) and because we have a dog we couldn't sit in the restaurant, we had to sit in reception which was a bit of a squash with small tables.

We stayed for three nights. Breakfast was very good on two mornings but on the third morning we were asked to walk - about half a mile to another hotel for breakfast. Most disappointing.
Having to walk to another hotel for breakfast on the third morning

Staff were extremely nice. Free hot breakfast included. Coffee/tea in the room. I had a perfect view of the water!
Weather could have been warmer!!

It was clean. The position on the sea front was great.
Lift was broken. The bar was more like part of the laundry maybe due to being late in season.

stayed here over the last 3 weeks, never any complaints except for this week. the breakfast was cold coffee was cold had to ask for toast that came as we were leaving. I think there was new staff in the kitchen as up until this week we had no complaints. Fingers crossed the original kitchen staff are back next week.

Comfortable reasonable breakfast
Front door left open causing the breakfast to be cold at times. No bar lounge used for laundry No free parking in the daytime only 4hrs maximum if you could find a place.

Room clean and excellent view of the sea. Breakfast was satisfactory.
The main disadvantage was we were on the third floor and no lift. The stairs were quite steep and my husband and I are not young to be walking up and down the stairs.

It's decent hotel but 89 pound is way costlier than expected!!

Comfy, if compact room and great sea view from the window.
Lifts appeared to be out of order so had to carry heavy suitcase up numerous flights of stairs.

So handy for the prom and the beach for an early morning swim.
Room was stuck on at the back.
