Our host was incredibly accommodating, from serving breakfast after our parkrun to leaving fresh milk in a flask on our tea tray everyday. Breakfast was amazing and filling, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast with cooked breakfast, with vegetarian swaps for me, although Debbie would have cooked you any combination of the ingredients. We couldn't have been looked after any better. Towels were changed and the bed made too. What a B&B find!

absolutely nothing!

A top quality traditional B&B with ample parking and superb locally sourced breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Debbie, including finding us a local table for dinner and even offering us a lift to our venue. Will make it our first choice for a future stay in the area.
Nothing to dislike!

Tye only thing I didn’t like was having to miss staying there due to Covid

Situated in a quiet village with 2 local pubs within 5 minutes walking distance. Lovely hosts. Great selection of breakfast items and everything cooked to order.
Room was very clean and presented nicely with what I'd describe as shabby chic furniture style and enough space for clothing to last more than a weeks stay.
Bathroom was fairly spacious too. No bath(which is ok by me. Who takes a bath these days). Great walk in shower which was very powerful and always hot when required.
We found it a great base for touring the local area and the west coast. I wouldn't hesitate to book again if I was to revisit the Mendips in the future
Highly recommended. Thank you Debbie and Nigel for a lovely stay.
I can't think of a single thing I didn't like about the place. Had a great rime during our stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding nearby. Our hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. The rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was top notch and a welcoming start to the day.

Really friendly welcome and stay. Excellent choice for breakfast using local produce (even strawberries grown in the garden!) Knowledgeable hosts who recommended things to do locally. Room was superbly clean and had everything we needed - tea/coffee, biscuits, bottles of water, hairdryer etc - we also watched the local cricket game from our bedroom window! Super local pub with outstanding views over the lake. We would highly recommend a stay at School Farm.
We liked everything!

This stay was the best Bed and Breakfast I have ever experienced. This lady practiced attention to detail in order to make your stay as comfortable and as delightful as possible. It is only in very expensive hotels do you see this attention to detail. There it is a matter of instruction from management but here it was a thing of the heart which to say the least is infinitely better. When we arrived my wife and my daughter got out of the car whilst I stayed inside for a few moments to do something. Very quickly there was the sound of much jollity from the rear of the car and I wondered what was going on. When I got out of the car there was this very amiable and lovely lady who immediately stretched out her hand and with a beaming smile exclaimed “you must be Jeff”. After several more minutes of good-natured chat she led us inside with one of our suitcases in hand. This was to set the tone of the entire stay. Our room was more than adequate and well stocked with tea, coffee and a jar of biscuits. There was a small thermos of milk instead of those disgusting little plastic cartons of UHT milk. My daughter’s room was beautiful. The breakfast was superb and she was always on hand to tend to our needs. I think I had the best sausage there, full of meat and flavour instead of the usual fatty cholesterol-inducing offering. We were there to attend the wedding of our eldest son and on the wedding day she put small wedding decorations on the table. As I say, attention to detail and it is these small things which mean so much. When it was time to go it was hugs all around and she waved us off. Quality and going the extra little bit are not dead.

Very welcoming and homely. Lovely breakfast.
Extra socket to charge 2 phones at night perhaps.

Debbie has a lovely house and is a lovely person. Accidentally left an item in the room and she went out of her way to drive to Bristol to return it to me. Breakfast plentiful and quality produce. Highly recommend this property.

We were in Blagdon for a family wedding in nearby Coombe Lodge. Debbie was the perfect host; friendly, welcoming and attentive. We had two rooms, both of which were very comfortable with fresh flowers and a welcome tray of tea, coffee and biscuits, which was replenished each day. The dining room, once the village sweet shop, has a lovely ambience. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, featuring local produce and soft fruits from the garden.

Nothing not to like. We were given a choice of 3 beautifully decorated rooms, the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in, the breakfasts were divine and it was outstanding.
Nothing. It was fantastic.

I do t think I’ve ever felt more at home anywhere I’ve stayed. A lovely couple and a lovely property. I was treated like a queen.
The pictures don’t do this place justice, it was lovely and had a real cosy cottage feel.

Great location close to some lovely walks and easy access to both Bristol and Bath
The shower room/toilet was perfectly adequate but a bit snug - room for one at a time only

Excellent breakfast, a good choice to choose from so you don't have to have the same thing if staying a few nights. Love the local walking books in the guest lounge and the ideas for what to do. Nice sized room with plenty of storage and really fluffy towels
Only one thing was that there was a bit of road noise as trucks went past. Otherwise brilliant

A good selection of fruit, cereal, plus freshly cooked breakfast to order with a good selection to chose from. Full English one day, and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs the next. Excellent, with much of the food locally produced, and with bread freshly baked and homemade marmalade.
We weren't disappointed by anything, except the weather. And even then our hosts took our wet coats to dry them overnight.

The owner Debbie and Nigel were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Great area close to everywhere and with plenty of options for places to eat. Ps we loved Riley too!
Nothing to dislike it was excellent!
