I did not like the fact that we didn't have ac for two out of the three night stay.

The property is lovely but, it is in a very, very remote part of the island with nothing around it. Isolating to say the least.

Very quiet, beautiful property.

Had a great weekend at this property. Very quiet and remote. Awesome views from the balcony and very private on the beach. An easy drive into the busier beaches for a day trip. Unit had everything we needed and Owner was awesome and easy to reach leading up to and throughout our stay

Property was everything that was expected. Grounds were clean. Pool was fantastic. Beach was screened daily and is very private. Communication with Lisa was great and precise. It was far enough out of town to be very exclusive. I do recommend a rental car if staying here. Our trip would have been much different without one. We would stay again.

When we booked, we wanted to stay somewhere a little bit away from all the chaos of Grace Bay. This sounded like a great spot, and the owner, Lisa, was super helpful and sweet. However, I wouldn't stay here again. Not only is it super far from everything, but the beach here is less than ideal. Completely covered in seaweed and sea grass. It isn't even nice to walk on. On top of that, the reception at the resort is incredibly rude. We landed on Provo a little before the normal 3:00 checkin time. I confirmed with Lisa that it would be okay for us to head straight to check in. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the not-so-friendly Marilyn who chastised us for arriving before 3:00. We had no problem waiting a bit for our room - we expected it. But for her to react so rudely to our presence was completely uncalled for. The icing on the cake was that the place was not particularly clean. It was covered in ants, even before we brought food in. We had to store everything in the fridge to keep the ants from getting it, but they still came looking. The fans are noisy, which doesn't make for sound sleeping, and the furniture is pretty dingy. The grounds are nice enough, but that's not enough that I'd ever recommend this place to another.

Lovely, quiet, remote location….TOTAL Relaxation!!!! Friendly, helpful staff! Location is very remote and beach is not exactly as in photos….there's a lot of sea grass in water and on beach…..However, if you walk down the beach from the resort/condo a short ways you can find clear spots to enter the water!! No restaurants in close prox. FYI: Gas grill on property is very weak, only reaches temps to about 300!! We had a couple of "hiccups" with the condo: dishwasher would not start, bathtub drain malfunctioned and few light bulbs were burned out….HOWEVER, we notified front office and ALL issues were resolved IMMEDIATELY :-)!!!
In general, if you're looking for a TOTALLY quiet, relaxing vacation…a place to soak up the sun and enjoy the warm breezes, a glass of wine/beer and a good book….this is your dream vacation location!
Suggest: bring all your own food and wine/beer

I guess our expectations from the info and photos of Northwest Point Resort were too high. To begin with, the 3 mile or so road to the resort is gravel with many potholes. The resort is located on the west end of Provo - very secluded and away from most of the restaurants and activities. Having a car is a must. The drive to the main Grace Bay area beaches is about 20 minutes, give or take. The drive up to the main entrance to the property reveals a broken keypad for the "security" gate. The resort appears to have both privately owned condos as well as hotel rentals. Initially we thought Lisa was the owner of the condo we reserved. However she is only a sales representative for the resort. So the room we got was one of the hotel rooms, we believe. The room was large and comfortable but dated and worn. There were exposed wires in the kitchen which we dare not touch, rust on the fridge, tape on the dishwasher, miscellaneous electrical materials stashed in the pots and pans cabinet and sparse silverware. The lamp in the living room flickered like a strobe light and one of the sliding doors only opened about a foot before it got stuck. The pillows on the beds were old and lumpy and should be replaced. A point worth noting is that you cannot call out of the resort using the room phone and the WiFi is very spotty. At the beach, there is a lot of seaweed/sea grass close to the shore which is good for snorkeling but not so good for general bathing. The picture of the beautiful beach you see here is NOT the beach we saw. Overall the facility could have been so much better. There is a lot of potential here. It is actually nicely laid out but just needs some better upkeep - a little TLC would go a long way. I would recommend renting a unit that is individually owned and not one in the general rental pool. I think you would get a lot more for your money's worth. We had to purchase beach items which we assumed would come with the unit, like a beach umbrella, beach chairs and noodles which we left in the room for the next guests. We only used them for a week. Also be aware that check-in is 3:00 PM. We arrived at about 1:30 and were told we could not get into our room. That was no problem, we went out to buy groceries and arrived back at 3:30 to find the cleaning lady still mopping the floor of our unit. So before you reserve your room, make sure you get all your questions answered so there are no surprises.

I have been coming to this condo community and this unit for years. I love having the peacefulness of the "Old Caribbean" here at the resort as my base and then being no more than a 20 minute drive to EVERYWHERE else on "The Best Island in the World 2015", Providenciales. If you want to be close enough to the tourism yet value your quiet and relaxation in a more pristine natural environment then the Northwest Point of the island and this community is worth experiencing. You cannot beat the value for the experience of being so close to reef and wall snorkeling and beachcoming on the exquisite and unspoiled Malcome Road Beach area and Northwest Point itself.
You definitely want to rent a vehicle and a small SUV-type is best in order to comfortably reach the hidden reefs and Malcome Road. The restaurant is open seasonally and there a numerous stores to purchase all you need to prepare your meals, as the condo has a large and fully equipped kitchen. But great eateries are found starting
no more than 10 minutes from the community. The units at Northwest Point are true condos versus the condo-hotels with lockouts you find at most resorts so you feel like you are staying in a home versus a hotel room. Stay here for great value and enjoyment if you don't need or want all the trappings of a crowded resort and being sold on costly upgrades and excursions all the time like a more typical tourist trap.

We have been to this condo twice now. It's like our little home away from home in paradise! We absolutely love coming here and never want to leave! The condo itself is just that...like home. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive! The restaurant has great food made to order! We love the fact that it's away from all the tourist hustle and bustle, off the beaten path. However, if we choose to join in it's not a far drive. It's very quiet very clean extremely beautiful and secluded!!! Snorkeling on this side of the island is truly amazing as well!! Has everything you need as if you were home, from a washer and dryer to the dishwasher so you can pack light and go to the grocery store when you get there. Perfect place for some true R&R in paradise!!!
