My friends and I with our spouses enjoyed the quiet and beauty of the Black Hills while staying here. Lots of space to spread out. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub as well!

Wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in the woods with amazing mountain views. The owner was GREAT to work with and answered all of my questions. We fit all 10 of us comfortably. We didn't want to leave!

Great property with amazing views.
Was pretty well stocked with towels for the hot tub. Plenty of supplies, dishes, and other necessities.
The internet is slow but that may be the whole area.
No major bad things to say. Not a super baby friendly place for toddlers that can walk but we made it work.

We had a great week-long stay here and really enjoyed it. The property was well stocked in the kitchen and with other necessities such as towels, laundry supplies, hand soap, toilet paper, etc. The view was great! And we appreciated the hot tub too! The only thing that would have been nice to know is 2 of the 4 bedrooms are loft style— meaning open to the main floor. That made bedtime/quiet time a little more difficult if some of our group wanted to stay up. It was a minor inconvenience, but didn’t affect our overall stay. We would recommend this place to others!

He had a great stay at Mountain Blue! The property was just as described, and no picture can do justice to the beautiful view off the back deck. We spent the bulk of our time on the deck or on the back patio, admiring the scenery.
The property was well stocked with amenities. The homeowner was super nice, and very responsive. The cleanliness of the property was fantastic, and that helped us feel very relaxed.
We are so thankful for our time in the Black Hills, and glad we found this property to enhance our experience. We would recommend a stay at Mountain Blue.

Amazing property! Big bedrooms and bathrooms, amazing views, very clean, hot tub was great, very quiet, host was very nice and responded to messages quickly. Definitely would come back. Only thing was the two bedrooms upstairs didn't have doors and were not private but still would come back! :)

We had our multi generational family together in the home. It was well equipped with 3 full baths. The only issue is that the 'main' king bed is in an open loft and the queen bed upstairs is also an open loft to the lower living space/kitchen. It worked out fine for us because we had adults traveling with us so bedtime was not an issue, but it does make privacy difficult. Overall the home was well appointed with all the items you need and the location is remote enough for absolute silence and gorgeous views of the forested hills.

We had a great stay. It was a nice clean house with a great view.

Loved the view out the back. We were looking for a place that was not busy and found it. Very relaxing weekend!

Parents (4) and Adult Children (2) getaway. Wonderful property with amazing views. Open living space great for eating meals and playing cards. Close proximity to site seeing yet far enough to enjoy the natural scenery. We loved our stay!

We had a peaceful, relaxing time at the cabin. We appreciate having a place to stay in a short notice. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Property was as listed, wonderful place and location, enjoyed it immensely!

Everything was wonderful! Cabin fit all 9 of us perfectly! Julie the property manager helped us out quickly when it was needed.

This property the home sat on was very beautiful, wildlife all around as well as view. The house was very clean with plenty of dish’s,pot and pans, and towels etc. would highly recommend a stay here for sure to anyone that likes beautiful Mountain View with wildlife to sit and watch. Loved everything about this place, the only thing I didn’t like was the ride from main road up to the house on a motorcycle but in a vehicle it was cool. Thank you for a great place to stay!

What a beautiful view off the deck! Home was furnished with all you will need to stay plenty of bath towels as well as beach towels for the hot tub. Most any kitchen accessories available. The hot tub was nice. The water was not very clear and we let the manager know and she responded promptly and had maintenance man there quickly to treat the water. If you want peace and quiet this is your place! We would definitely book again. I wish they would had some more lounging type deck furniture, other wise really liked it.

We had a great stay, very peaceful and relaxing!

Was wonderful except frig did not keep food cold despite settings and very little food in the frig.

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay a few days. House was beautiful and the view was breath-taking even though it was a little rainy. Well-stocked kitchen and nice beds and furniture. No complaints. Looking forward to another stay.

Wonderful stay at this cabin. Clean and well kept. It was more like a home than a rental property. Communication with agent was fantastic. The gravel road proved to be part of our mountain adventure. Would absolutely recommend a visit here.

We had four adults, four teens and a tween staying at Midnight Blu for five nights. The location and surroundings were exactly what we wanted. The kids were looking forward to lots of hot tub time. Unfortunately the hot tub broke after the first night and wasn’t fixed until the last day. But Julie did her best to get it fixed for us and made it right!!
The kitchen is a little small to keep food for nine people for five days, but it worked. The second floor “bedroom” doesn’t have a door. It is open to the house and the 3rd floor guests have to walk through the sleeping area to get to their room. The third floor room has cut outs to the main part of the house. So if their are lights on in the kitchen, dinning room and living room they shine into the above bedrooms. The bathrooms don’t have enough towel bars for nine people.
All in all these were small things and loved our time at Midnight Blu.

We had some friends from out of town visiting and needed a place to stay while trekking around South Dakota. This was the perfect spot - secluded and away from the crowds and oh so quiet! we had a great time staying here!

Good house, close to the trails. Nice view off the deck.
Manager very responsive to communication!

We had a family vacation at this property and wanted a quiet place to unwind at the end of the day. This place checked all of the boxes! We enjoyed the hot tub after sightseeing, sat on the deck to watch the sunrise/ sunset and felt at home away from home. It does take about 20-25 minutes from the home to get into Hill City but it was well worth the drive to have a relaxing place to stay after traveling. Would stay here again!

We had a great time during our stay at the Mountain Bleu. The house was very spacious and all the amenities were everything we could’ve asked for. We had a group of 10 people and there was plenty of space for everyone. Would definitely recommend this property for travel with a large group. Julie was very helpful and responsive to any and all questions we had. A great overall experience.

Loved the property. Beautiful location. Such an adventure getting up the mountain, but we loved it and the views were so worth it. Plenty of room for 8 of us and we’ll equipped for cooking all of our meals! Would definitely come back. The management office, Julie, was fabulous to work with-even though she may have gotten tired of me lol!

We would come back tomorrow and do it again

The price was pretty high, but our stay occurred during Sturgis. The property itself was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and pool table. The kitchen had almost everything we needed to cook and bake. The management was responsive. The master bedroom was a little weird due to a lack of door to filter noise, but that was easily overcome just by moving the activities to downstairs in the game room. There was plenty of seating. The area was really quiet, making star gazing with shoot stars really nice. I have no real complaints, and I would stay here again.

We had a great time. House was in the mountains. Very peaceful! Had to drive up dirt roads to get to it, but the road wasn’t bad at all.
4.8
We had the best time at Mountain Blue- perfect for our family vacation.
4.8
I cannot say enough about this place. Perfect location to feel like you’re remote and away from it all, yet an easy drive in any direction to the local attractions. Beautiful home. Kids had an absolute blast. Julie was an excellent host and helped us navigate as needed. We will be back!
