Worked great for 4 families. Each got 2 rooms and a bathroom. Good “base camp” to start our adventures.

Great place for our reunion. Overall the property is great. An issue with the oven, but it was resolved. The yard area in front of the cabin was great. The kids loved it.

We had a group of 20 adults, teens, and children. There were plenty of beds for us all. The layout was great with basically 2 bedrooms sharing a bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of silverware and dishes for a big family. Nice to have the dishwasher. We had plenty of dishwasher tabs. Loved having the washer and dryer on site for laundry. Linens were nice. It says that it has A/C and it does have 2 window units but no central air. It was a little stuffy over night when we closed the bedroom doors. A couple nights we were able to open the windows at night when it cooled off which really helped. The 2 window units kept it plenty cool for everyone even on the 95 degree day. Would stay here again.

Perfect location and perfect house for the group.

My family and I have no negative comments about this cabin. But if I was forced to nit pic, I would like to see a couple of the rooms upgraded to bigger beds. I'm a larger person and that would put this cabin over the top for me. This was the second year we picked this cabin and would pick it again in the future. Enjoyed the weekend

This property is ideally located for many of the Black Hills attractions and accomodating for large families and groups.

3 family from Casper wy and 3 families from Nebraska. Got together all immediate family. Like space and away from hustle and bustle. Bring our own food and enjoy family and games.
We had some issues and I will submit online. Great host guy that responded fast

We had a 15 person family reunion. The house had lots of rooms and enough bathrooms. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of commission for our entire stay. We did have a plumbing problem and it was very promptly addressed. Lots of rooms for cars, and a driveway up to the back of the house to unload groceries/upper level suitcases was helpful. Kids loved the loft and the firepit for roasting marshmallows. Fun time was had by all.

Got married with all family under one roof. Every couple had their own bedroom and 2 couples to a bathroom. Woods well for family gatherings and on the trail system for side by side rides. Would recommend this to anyone.

I will start with it is a good setup and great location. However I was told the prior renters of the cabin left it a major mess. And they left the morning our stay was booked to start. The contact crew said sometimes they don’t have enough time to keep up the basic maintenance on the property because the quick turn around. The most unacceptable part was when we went to cook breakfast the first morning we went to grab a supplied pan to use and saw it was dirty, we moved it out of the way and found a deep pot full of old food that was left there. And when we opened the cupboards we found open and expired non refrigerated items. The house had odds and ends not working like it should, one of the down stairs doors said it was not working, one of the windows were broken to where it was a chore to get it closed after we opened it which had no note on it. All four bath room vents were covered in dirt, bathroom towel hangers were broken, storage wicker baskets were broke, the fridge was missing the face of the control panel, and the house had lights bulbs out. Also, a lot of the rooms had an odor to were we had to open the rooms to let fresh air in. The hot tub was beyond disgusting, and no matter how many times they cleaned it we weren’t able to us it. And when I reach out to the crew. It felt like I was getting the run around. I honestly think most my problems could be avoided by someone actually cleaning and not just changing the bedding.
And I have yet to hear anything back.

This cabin was perfect for our large group! Enough bedrooms and bathrooms and we never ran out of hot water! Enough parking for several trailers and vehicles. Close access to great trails! Highly recommend!

My family and I went for an immediate family belated Christmas gathering. There were 7 adults and 3 children in attendance. We loved the lay out and loved the space this home provided. I would recommend this space for those that have children all ranges of ages. The hot tub and comfortable features of being at “home” made it cozy. Parking is plentiful. The home wasn’t spotless but it also wasn’t filthy. It was more of what you would expect from a “lived in” home. But wouldn’t stop me from staying there again.
Also, the internet password was a little hard to find as the guest book has outdated information. But once the password was found all was well.

We have stayed at this cabin twice. It's great for large groups with plenty of parking for 8 trucks/trailers on site. The host was very polite and easy to work with.

This is our second year at this rental. We love the place. Only advice we would give is to have a second fridge with that big of a house and also all the pillows for each bedroom need to be replaced as they are all flat. :) Over all, we love it.

A wonderful home
I rent a home somewhere every summer for my children and grandchildren. This is one of the nicest homes we have stayed in. I loved the layout of the house. It was well supplied with the basics and very comfortable. I had a couple of small issues/ questions and the manager responded immediately. We had a great time!

A great place to come back to after a day in the Hills
The house is in a great location. We had 18 people, a one year old to over 65 years old. So much room to play, sleep and eat! There was a bathroom between every 2 bedrooms! It was hard to leave, so much fun!

Great Experience
Our family was blessed to stay on this beautiful property for a long weekend. Our group was 16 and there was plenty of room for sleeping, cooking, games and fun. So much better than a hotel!

Great place to spend with Family
Overall our stay was great ! Is close to walking trails and is a peaceful setting. A little attention is needed to Utensils and toaster should be upgraded like the pizza cutter doesn’t cut the corkscrew doesn’t screw toaster is missing handle. Mattress’s have reached there end of life in the lower level. Overall I’d give it a 5 star ! Thanks for making our Christmas great!!!!

Christmas 2021
Bedrooms and bathrooms with the loft sleeps a large group. Only negative was lack of living space for a large group. We made it work and truly enjoyed our stay. We are a outdoors group so we found several sledding hills close by to enjoy. Took our grandkids to see My. Rushmore and other attractions. Very close to many things. It fit our needs and expectations.

Wonderful Holiday
We chose this property because of its size and location. We have a large family of 4 generations. It was nice to have a place away from home to go that we all could fit. We had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend. The rental had bedrooms for everyone plus the loft for teenagers and basement sitting room for additional playing. The outdoor area was spacious for playing football and some even enjoyed the creek that runs in front of property as well as hiking in the BHNF behind the property. We had a couple minor issues and property manager was wonderful to deal with. We’ll definitely stay again if the occasion arises.

Vacation
Most enjoyable.
The only issue was the inside of the shower curtain on the bathroom I used (main floor on the left) was slimy. I didn't ask the others about theirs.

Absolutely beautiful cabin! Owners thought of every little detail that most travelers forget! Beautifully decorated, clean throughout and in a great location! When I come to S.D. again this is where we will try to stay!

UTV friends and family vacation
Cabin was good size and worked exactly for what we needed. It could use a few minor upgrades pots and pans in the grill was a disaster. All in all it was a great vacation and I would stay there again location was perfect. For what we needed.

Super Cabin for a large group.
Our cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family of 17 - 8 kids and 9 adults. We played outdoor games and indoor games. The foosball table downstairs was a big hit and used by all! (Family tournament, of course). There were plenty of tables and sitting area for us and the open kitchen allowed for visiting while preparing meals. The location, near Hill City is what I wanted as it makes a great central location to the Black Hills which are so beautiful! My family said they would love to come back and to stay here again! Thank you!

This is a great location for what we came to South Dakota to do, 4 wheel. There is lots of room in this house and 4 bathrooms is a bonus. Very clean, easy to get into and out with a trailer. Can’t wait to come back.
