About this house rental
This spacious lake house is the perfect place to spend a vacation, or base camp for one of the many fishing tournaments. . Luxury accommodations include a 2-3 person Infrared sauna which adjoins the master bath. The back deck equipped with 5-6 person hot tub. Free standing propane heater is available for those chilly nights. The bar height table with fire pit seats 8 and is the perfect setting for friends to share relaxing conversation on any starlit romantic evening. Watch a game on the big screen or share a cocktail and play billiards on the vintage pool table upstairs. The garage is equipped with full size ping pong table, and tandem bicycle. A short walk out the back door along our enchanted path takes you to beautiful Clarks Hill lake. The large floating dock accommodates your boat, or the12-person pontoon (rental options to include in your stay). There is a large swim area and nice open area for running, fishing, playing corn-hole or other activities. A 2-person golf cart will be included during your stay. Plenty of parking available.

Lots of activities at the home for everyone. Kids really liked the hot tube. Beautiful lake with fun islands and much less boat traffic than most. Fishing was good. The walk to the lake was a little longer than anticipated but the golf cart ride provided added adventure for the kids.

This lake house has all the bells and whistles. No detail was left unnoticed. Communication with host was spectacular. The home and property is stunning. Space for everyone. Traveling with 2 kids (1&5) is sometimes challenging but the house provided fun for everyone. There are walk in closets with air vents in all three bedrooms which was nice for the baby to sleep in. The beds were so comfortable. The home came with everything you could need for a great vacation. The dock was well equipped with all the fun gear. Even caught a few fish. Will definitely be back

Such a wonderful weekend with family at this beautiful lake house ! I cannot say enough about how well the communication was between Rick and Cindy during the entire process - from booking to checking out. Rick happened to also be in town this weekend and was so very hospitable to us ! The house is exactly as described and truly has everything you need for entertaining and comfort .
The kitchen is well stocked with all the gadgets and gizmos and spices etc - so thankful for that !
We were on the lake during the day and on the open back porch which is adjoined to the deck in the evenings .
Comfy and cozy and our favorite place to hangout !
The hot tub was a favorite for sure !
It was a short walk or even shorter ride in the golf cart to the lake - which we did not mind at all .
When I booked this home one of my most favorite features was the swinging chairs on the dock and Rick told me they were in the middle of being refurbished BUT he would do all he could to get at least one back together and hang it - and that he did !! Big thanks !
We took advantage of the fresh eggs from the neighbor - made for a great breakfast .
Publix is about a 20 minute ride and we stocked up the day we got there and didn’t have to go back .
And ladies - there is the CUTEST BOUTIQUE next to Publix called Swank and you will want to go there !!!
We didn’t get to meet Cindy but she communicated with me so well !
We loved our lazy days & laughter at the lake !
We also plan on booking again !!

The house was much more spacious than you can tell in the pictures! The owner was very nice, helpful, and flexible. The option for a pontoon boat was a major plus! We loved our stay and will definitely book this house again!

We were at this beautiful home for our son's high school fishing tournament. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The owners were very attentive and nice and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed the dock for fishing and the chair swings were nice. We were able to have our trailered boat so that we could charge it during the night. We will definitely rent this place again.

The Blue House had most anything needed for your stay. The closest grocery store is about 20 miles (not bad) but the host called when they were going for themselves to see if we needed anything - thats great service!

My two daughters and I had an incredible time! Next time we will stay longer - there is so much to do there! The lake is beautiful and comes a John boat, paddle boat, kayaks, and amazing dock with swings. And there’s so much at the house - hot tub, sauna, pool table and ping pong. You will never be bored! And the hosts are wonderful as well - super nice and accessible.

This house is great because it accommodated my mom that has some mobility issues, while also entertaining two teenage sons. Having the golf cart to get back and forth to the water was a big selling point for Mom, but the walk isn’t bad for those that are more sure footed.
The weather was not cooperative during our visit at all. Who expects a cold snap in GA over Memorial Day weekend? The hot tub, ping pong and pool tables were a lifesaver! The weather was forecast to make a drastic turn around the day we were scheduled to check out. Rick & Cindy graciously allowed us to extend our stay and truly went out of their way to accommodate us. We were so thankful to have a sun soaked day on the pontoon boat. We would definitely stay in this house again and happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

I cannot say enough about Rick and Cindy and their home. It is very clear they take pride in their home and value each guest. Everything, and I mean everything, was just as described. I honestly cannot think of one thing we needed that wasn’t there! Our only regret is not having more time to just enjoy the entire place! It is close to the quaint little town of Lincolnton but far enough away to be completely peaceful! We will be staying again soon!

Felt like we were staying at our own lake house. The house offered space and activities for everyone! I do mean everyone from my 80+ parent to our 25 year olds.
Setup for entertaining and relaxing, the back porch quickly became our favorite gathering spot.
We stayed here while attending an event in Augusta. the drive to Augusta was easy, nice to stay outside Augusta and relax at the lake.

This was, by far, our best VRBO rental! The owners didn’t scrimp on anything! From response time to supplying lots of items that make your trip more enjoyable…they are the best! The house is drop dead gorgeous with tons of amenities and great hosts. From the dock, to the golf cart, to the hot tub, to the sauna, great showers, sparkeling clean, etc. The thing to know is there aren't stores or restaurants close. The grocery store is 15 miles away, closest 'good' convenience store with bait and sundries is 5 miles away. So bring some food with you!

The Lake House
Our stay was amazing! The pics of this location do not do it justice for what it really looks like, need to update pics! We had a group of 6 (3 adults, 3 teenagers) we had more then enough room for everyone to have space. Cindy and Rick take a lot of pride in keeping there home very clean and up to date. They met us upon arrival and did a walk through of the home and dock area with us, this was very appreciated. We could ask any questions right away.
Let me start with the bathrooms, all of them very roomy and set up nicely. Well stocked with towels and they even had beach towels available for us to use. The paper supplies also very stocked (brought our
Ah the kitchen and common area ~ WOW the kitchen was stocked full of everything you could think of. Rick told us they are kitchen gadget people, that is an understatement!! They also have a stocked spice cabinet, also the random essentials you don’t think about when meal planning ~ flour for making gravy ect... the local grocery store is not to far away maybe 15-20 mins but prices are a bit high. We did make a trip to the Walmart (45 mins away). Plenty of seating for us to all sit down and have a meal together either inside or outside. The gas grill was very nice to have as well with the outside seating areas. We had most of our meals out there! Hot tub was added bonus! The back yard is very level and grassy, made it nice for yard games.
Dock area and boat ~ We also rented the boat from them as well! I will say after boat shopping for a rental his boat is the absolute best price for a week rental~ The boat was clean and full of gas for us when we arrived. The lake is very quite, not many others out there. So if your nervous about being a beginner boat driver, no worries here! The dock area was amazing! The hanging chairs in the pics are fun and comfortable, a little tricky to get in and out. Paddle boat and John boat there for us to use also.
The pool table room was a nice hangout area with a bathroom and a mini fridge so there was no need to go up and down the stairs!
Overall I have to say this is one of the best places we have rented. My sister and I have been doing a sisters / cousins vacation for 15 years now and I have to say this location was at the top of our list .Thankyou Rick and Cindy for sharing your home with us .

We had two families in our group - a total of 4 adults and 4 kids (all preteen to teen age range). We all had a fantastic time at this lake house. This is our 8th year renting lake houses in GA and I can say the owners at this house were the most attentive we’ve ever had. They responded to inquiries quickly and communicated well with us. The home was clean, stocked & in order, and there were plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy - the hot tub, swimming & fishing in the lake, paddle boat & john boat, ping pong, nightly bonfires, checking out the deer in the woods, and taking golf cart rides in the neighborhood (we also brought our own golf cart). The house was around 35 minutes from a nice antique shop (Aunt Tiques & Uncle Junks), from Publix and a quick drive to Dollar General. This home made for a wonderful and relaxing week-long vacation. The only downside was you can’t actually see the lake from the house, but it is a very short golf cart ride through the woods (often times seeing deer, squirrels, rabbits and various birds on the trip).

We really enjoyed the place. Host were very helpful and friendly. Beautiful place to stay, only thing missing is a lakeside view, however dock is close by and a golf cart was available. We were fascinated by seeing the deer on the path to the dock.

The trip started with Rick meeting us at the property and giving us the lay of the land which was much appreciated. Rick and Cindy take great care of the property and have everything available for guests to use. The golf cart was great to have to haul things back and forth to the dock. The back porch is amazing, and the hot tub set at the perfect summer temperature. We appreciated the opportunity to stay here and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful property with something to offer every age. Rick and Cindy have thought of everything, providing amenities far beyond my expectations. They try to be very accommodating with guests' requests and quickly respond to address any questions or concerns one may have. They are easily accessible if needed, as they own additional property across the road. I would absolutely recommend this property and hope to visit again.

The property is absolutely beautiful! The layout is excellent for families looking for a home where they can enjoy each other’s company sitting out on the back porch or playing one of the many games at the house. The house includes several amenities including a well planned and equipped kitchen. The walkway to the lake is just past the great fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time!

Rick and Cindy were the absolute best hosts! They were so accommodating and happy to show us around when we arrived. They went far beyond any other VRBO property I have ever booked. The house was stocked with so many extra amenities we didn't have time to take advantage of all there was to offer! Perfect vacation for our “early Thanksgiving”
So many fun things to do at the house. We used the golf carts, fished and sat I. Swings on the pier, played pool, corn hole, sat in the hot tub, etc. house was spotless & beautiful. Rick, the host became our friend. Couldn’t ask for more.
