From the location, to the furnishings and the customer service …everything was excellent!

Amazing townhouse, nice amenities and a great location. Super easy to walk to downtown and quick access to River St. The garage was a HUGE bonus. Put our cars in there and never needed them again (except to make a drive over to Tybee Island).
We had all we needed in this nice house. Our bed was very comfortable, linens clean, ample towels. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. We found a nice little treat basket, appreciated after a long drive in. The washer/dryer was very convenient too. Very charming rear courtyard, though the hot weather kept us from using it very much. Communication with Mike was amazing as well.
Highly recommend the State St. Victorian and hope to return again soon.
Thank you!

Our three-generation family of six had a very comfortable stay in the historic part of Savannah. If you're looking to be close to shops, restaurants, and in the heart of the action, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better property. Communication and instructions were flawless. Great stay overall!

Home was stunning, and perfect for my husband and I and our dog. Well-kept, but do remember this home is over 200 years old. We loved the original details. You cannot beat the location--walkable everywhere and the garage was a lifesaver. Management was responsive, although we had no issues. Highly recommend!

Great property for small family right in the heart of Savannah historical district and close to lots of great restaurants, shops and Savannah harbor. Michael the property owner was great and responded quickly to any inquiries we had. We will come back for sure!

We had a great stay in Savanah. The house is in a great location, easy walking distance to almost everything. Great dinner at 17hundred90 which is barely a block away. The house could use a little deep cleaning and spruce up but we would definitely stay there again. The house was very well equipped.

This Victorian townhouse is authentic to the State Street neighborhood, located within the perimeter of the original Olglethorpe Plan (square is a short walk down the street). The house still has many features from when it was built in 1893-94, but has been updated where it matters: nice newer kitchen and bathrooms. There is plenty of space to spread out over the two floors, plus a really nice front balcony and courtyard space that is private behind the house and totally enclosed. A wonderful feature is the rare two car garage that opens to a quiet alley behind the house. The area is extremely quiet for being so close to commercial areas (Broughton St is a short block away). This house is fully stocked with everything one might need in the kitchen. The bathrooms and two upstairs bedrooms have plenty of towels, bed linens, extra pillows, etc. (Downstairs, the front parlor has a pull out sofa with bedding and doors to close it off from the dining room and hall.) There is a small 1/2 bath on the first floor under the stairs. One bedroom has an ensuite full bathroom, the other full bathroom is at the end of the upstairs hallway away from the other bedroom, but not at all inconvenient. There's a stacked washer and dryer (full size) near the hall bath. During our five night stay the coffeemaker stopped working and a shower head came off, but Michael had those replaced very quickly. Great stay and we WILL be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! This house is so cute and in the perfect location. We were able to walk to brunch, dinner at old pink house and to river street. You’re close to everything but yet far enough if you want privacy and quiet. Comfortable beds and dining area. Loved sitting on little balcony in the mornings to hear church bells and horse carriages go by. We drove down so it was amazing to actually have a garage to keep our car if we needed it - it was easy to access.
Host was wonderful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Wow, what an amazing stay! The location is simply unbeatable – right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the best attractions and dining spots. The host's attention to detail was impressive; the home was immaculate and well-equipped, making us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our trip. If you're looking for a prime location and a wonderful host, don't hesitate to book. We'll definitely be back!

This property has everything you need! It has a covered parking garage area so your car is safe and secure. You won't need your car because everything is within walking distance. It is a very easy walk to the river and a very easy walk to Forsyth Park. The house is located just steps from Oglethorpe square so you can just walk outside and feel like you live in Savannah. The house also has several sitting areas - a cozy garden area in the back, a lovely front porch, and the best place is the upper balcony area just off the front bedroom. We used the front parlor room as a bedroom with the pullout bed and it worked perfectly. All of the beds were super comfortable (most of us have back issues so that was a big deal).
I highly recommend this rental. We have been to Savannah several times and this is by far the best place we have stayed. The only thing I wished had been different is that I wish we could have stayed longer. This place was perfect.

This townhouse was perfect for two couples and our small labradoodle. The seating and mattresses were very comfortable, the rental was nicely updated and clean, and the enclosed carport was great for keeping our vehicles safe and off the street. This rental is located in a quiet part of the historic district that is walking distance to all the great restaurants and historic sites (and just 1 mile to Forsyth Park). Just note that if you have a dog, you’ll need to walk a half block to Oglethorpe Square to find grass for potty breaks. The property manager was very responsive when I reached out with a few questions, and the online guidebook was extremely useful for exploring the property and neighborhood. We’d definitely return!

The location was perfect! We loved having the garage and the little back patio. This place was cute, well stocked, and comfortable. Mike was super easy to contact and made sure our stay was great. We would 100% stay here again. We have been to Savannah a few times and this was our favorite place to stay!

Beautiful and comfortable house to stay in. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay there very much. I thought it was great that the pull-out sofa was fully prepared when we arrived so we didnt have to make this bed ourselves. Additionally, the mattress of the pull-out sofa was incredibly comfortable and not like sofabeds usually are(lumpy, saggy, etc.).
The property manager communicated well and quickly- even when we had a fuse blow early Sunday morning, he responded to my email within an hour (by about 8am). (I didn't want to text anyone at 7am on a Sunday...)
Highly recommend staying here with people of all ages because it's an awesome location with lots of places to sit and enjoy each other's company. Additionally, having the two-car garage was a huge bonus! It was pouring rain here for a few days and the roof over the cars made it easy to pack/unpack. Thanks for letting us stay!

Great spot if you don't want to be right in the action, but definitely within walking distance of EVERYTHING! Beautiful property with great amenities and very communicative property manager. This really is a 2/ 2.5, but they've done a nice job with the spare room and the pull-out couch. Maybe more for sleeping kids. Very comfortable space for everyone. Great property.

This was our first trip to Savannah and we hope it won't be our last. We enjoyed an incredible stay at Michael's beautiful, historic townhome! It is located just one block from Broughton Street, the main shopping and strolling street in town. We had made dinner reservations at several restaurants and were able to walk to all of them. In fact, we walked everywhere during out stay, except when we drove to Tybee Island to see Fort Pulaski (not to be missed!).
The townhome is on two levels, with the bedrooms upstairs. We loved having coffee in the breakfast nook, which overlooks the rear patio. The beautiful kitchen is stocked with everything you might need, including spices. A fun secret--there is a small roof deck over the front door, and you can access it through a tall window in the main bedroom closet. We had breakfast out there! We also loved the tiny little powder room under the stairs, and the collection of miniature oil paintings next to the powder room.
We did need to use the washer and dryer during our stay, and found that the dryer was making a high-pitched squeaking noise. We contacted Michael and he quickly addressed the issue.
One final anecdote about our trip--Savannah was just one stop on our month-long road trip from Chicago. While in Savannah, we discovered that our car's water pump was leaking and we had to take it in to the dealer for repair. The dealer couldn't get the replacement parts until the next day, and though we were due to check out at 10 am, Michael was generous enough to extend our stay until 5 pm. What a godsend to be able to be comfortable and keep our luggage at the house until the car was ready. Michael, you're the best! We hope to stay with you again!

The home is exactly as shown in the pictures. Everything is exceptionally well appointed and taken care of. We were also traveling a baby and didn’t really find anything that we were nervous about in terms of her hurting herself. The location is perfect. Would definitely stay here again. It’s also great to have a garage which is nearly unheard of in Savannah.
4.0 / 5.0
Space was lovely and clean. Back door to open courtyard attached to the garage did not have a key so could not be locked, which was concerning. King bedroom air conditioning did not work at all - bedroom was sweltering. TV remote batteries were corroded into the case so no TV in king bedroom.
Beds were comfortable and great showers. Park a block away to walk the dog. It was a really nice property and if those issues were resolved would have been perfect.

This is a fantastic rental in Savannah! It is walkable to everything you want to see, nice finishes, very good space. At the time of rental, it indicated it was 3 bedroom, and it is not, but the reviews stated it was a 2 bedroom, with a pull-out couch. That is correct. However, this did not dampen our stay one bit - just something to know. 2.5 bathrooms was a definite plus, and we enjoyed the washer/dryer AND extra bath towels! Would highly recommend this stay, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. A few blocks from Bay Street/river area, also a few blocks from great rooftop bars, restaurants, and walkable to Forsythe Park. Also, kitchen had lots of dishes, there is a dishwasher, and fridge had water/ice in the door. Two thumbs up from everyone in our group - thanks for a great stay!!
