Great location and home. No air conditioning is only downside. Location is perfect.

We would definitely stay here again. I was initially worried, because I ran across some bad reviews for Vacasa. It must be a location issue. I found guest services for this property to be responsive. The property was clean and well kept.
The place is adorable and feels spacious. The furniture is in good condition, and adequate. The house offers plenty of places to sit and relax.
The amenities are great. The kitchen has everything that you need to prepare your meals. You also get enough towels, paper towels, toilet paper for your stay.
Like every rental there is always room for improvement. The doors are hard to close, so they can make a loud noise. I have small children and kept worrying the noise would wake them.
The location is great. Walking distance to shops, movie theater, and restaurants. There is a park across the street, which is nice if you have small children. It is a very busy park, however. If you like to sleep in, close your windows. There are people making plenty of noise very early in the day.
All things considered, we would definitely stay here again.

2 minutes walk to downtown food, shopping, etc. 2 minutes walk to river landing where friends can pick you up on boat on the river to go to lake. Small park across street for kids. Room for own games and lots of pickleball courts. Home has some small quirks as is an older home, but it adds to the small town charm of the area, place.

The only complaint i have is that the couch is hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the location is close to shops, restaurants, and parks.

This is cute place & is only a few minutes away from the Eagle River hockey dome. Perfect location for our tournament.
The kitchen was fairly equipped. Could’ve used another crockpot.
I would’ve given it five stars for cleanliness, even though it is a pet friendly place, it could’ve been a little more spotless.
I have pets and I don’t care for pet hair on my bed.
The teens loved the big screen tv, the bunkbeds are not super sturdy, so if you have big teens, I would not suggest planning on having them use the bunkbeds.
For winter I suggest another entry rug.
Overall, great location to the rink, big bonus with Kwik Trip across the street & we highly recommend The Honey Bear for friday night fish fry! Best I’ve had in years & were Wisconsinites!
Plus the river view behind the house is gorgeous! Minutes from shops & grocery store.

Great little cottage, small but it feels big. Close to in town attractions and amenities but still quiet. Will definitely return!

Visit family in area. Cottage was nice location nice couldn’t sleep well extremely humid no air conditioning which would not be a big deal, we just opened windows and ran fans. I will say we’ve come to dislike pickle ball. The courts fill up and play by 6:30am. With windows open it was extremely annoying and disruptive to any sleep past 7am. Outside of this we rather enjoyed the house and location. I would push for a noise ordinance. Or I just need to locate a different place away from a pickle courtyard.
The folks playing pickle ball were nice and pleasant people. Since we were constantly waken up we took the dog for a long walk and strolled by the courts.

Our family vacation Up North was so fun at The Riverview Cottage. Great location so close to Downtown! Very comfy cottage. Eagle River is full of great bars, restaurants, and supper clubs. We grilled out a few of the nights on the brand new grill. There was a great patio to hang out on and have a few beers before dinner. Slept so good in the comfy beds. My kids loved the bunk beds! We were happy that our dog could come on vacation with us this year. The owner had dog treats and dog bowls ready for our dog. Such a nice touch! We played pickle ball at the park across the street it was so fun! It was great being so close to the water. Lots of great coffee shops to walk to in the morning. There was a really cool wine bar downtown that my wife and I went to. Great wine and cheese boards! Our time in Eagle River was great. I would recommend this cottage to my friends and family. We are hoping to be back this fall for some fishing and fall foliage. Thank you for a great vacation Riverview Cottage!

We had a wonderful vacation in Eagle River, Wisconsin this July! The Riverview Cottage was a gem. It was decorated beautifully. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets, pillows, and blankets. The house is across from a park that is on the Wisconsin River. On our first day, we rented a pontoon from a boat rental place right down the road, so convenient! It was a wonderful day on the chain of lakes! Downtown Eagle River is a five-minute river walk. Each night we would take the riverwalk to get drinks and dinner. There were so many options for dining within walking distance. It was so lovely that no one had to worry about driving and parking. One of our favorite spots was The Craftsman. You have to try their craft cocktails. We loved the Blueberry Moscow Mules! We were so happy we found a pet-friendly house. The house is perfect for pets and kids with the park across the street. We had coffee every morning on the porch. We walked to the Friendly House for breakfast and it was delicious! On a few nights, we cooked dinners at the house. The kitchen was loaded with everything you needed to make a gourmet meal. This house was the best part of our vacation everyone was comfortable and the location was so close to town. We will definitely be back this winter with our snowmobiles. The snowmobile trail is super close and it will be so convenient to be able to jump on the trail. I am glad we found our perfect vacation home for year-round fun in Eagle River!
