I love this hotel. Fantastic position and really comfortable. Nice breakfast. Staff helpful and super friendly especially the team on the desk and running breakfast.

To be honest a bit disappointed. Hotel felt a bit tired and in need of some refurb. Room was rather small but that may be usual for Venice. Our room seemed to be above a bar. Noisy both in the evening and morning with staff and supplies arriving first thing. On the positive side the hotel was centrally located.

Fantastic hotel. Perfect location in Venice. Staff was very friendly. Room was sizable. Only issue is the small shower but I think that’s typical in Europe. A little noisy being next to the Rialto Bridge but absolutely worth it. Must stay!

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay at the Rialto in Venice! The location is simply unbeatable, situated right next to the famous Rialto Bridge and with views over the Grand Canal. Being so centrally located made it easy to explore all of Venice’s major attractions, from St. Mark’s Square to the lively local markets, all within walking distance.
The hotel itself is charming and full of Venetian character. Our room was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, with lovely traditional touches that made it feel authentic. The view from the window overlooking the canal was breathtaking, especially at sunset. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring we had a restful sleep after a long day of sightseeing.
The staff at the Rialto were outstanding, always friendly and eager to help with any request. From recommendations for local dining spots to arranging transport, they made our stay smooth and enjoyable. The breakfast served on the terrace was delicious, with a great selection of fresh pastries, fruit, and coffee, providing the perfect start to our days.
We highly recommend the Rialto to anyone visiting Venice who is looking for a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and authentic Venetian charm. We can’t wait to return!

The Rialto Hotel is a typical Venetian hotel located right near the Rialto Bridge - the best spot in Venice

Location, in theory is great, however it was overpriced for the room we had. The room was big but there was mold in the shower, only had two thin pillows, the furniture was old and run down including the mattress which was very thin and uncomfortable. AC was almost non-functioning and when you opened the windows mosquitos flew in since there were no screens.

Loved the hotel. Everyone that worked there was super nice.

Right in the heart of The Rialto, the location is awesome and the staff were fantastic & friendly. I cannot recommend this enough!

While the images online looked interesting, like you’ll be going back in time, it truly was that when staying there. The hallways and bedrooms felt musty. The surrounding area is convenient albeit always crowded because it’s by the Rialto bridge and the ferry stations.

A nice hotel in character with it's surroundings. A little 'tired' in places (corridors) but this wasn't a great problem.
Location is excellent - at the foot of the Rialto Bridge. Public river boat is easy to use, albeit crowded. Everything is within walking distance.
Continental breakfast was very good.
My only issues are the lack of communal spaces/lounges to sit in ( during heavy thunderstorms!). And there is no coffee/tea facilities in the room.

Absolutely magical! The views. The staff. The location. The air-conditioning. The free breakfast! Everything was excellent. Exceeded our expectations.

Great location in center of Venice. Walkable to all attractions. Hotel bit dated given the location, but well maintained with preserved old Venice charm.
Staff very accommodating and excellent service.
Please note not all floors are accessible by elevator, so travelers with mobility issues should make sure they can walk up flight of stairs or note that during reservation.

Beautiful area. Very accessible via taxi and room was as described. Staff was exceptionally great and helpful

Great location. Directly situated at Rialto Bridge. All staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast buffet had a good selecrion of food and drinks. It was nice to be able to sit outside for breakfast.
We liked spending time on the sun terrace, which was always quiet, not many people seemed to sit up there.
Had wifi access, but couldnt connect to it whilst on the sun terrace.

Nice to look out on the Rialto, but the waterbus station blocks the otherwise beautiful view. A little noisy at night but not too bad. Really great to have a walkout balcony.
Lovely service staff, breakfast was delicious. Very nice and charming hotel.

Location. Right next to Rialto bridge. Vaporetto & water taxi are available right in front of the hotel. We had 3 suitcases so that made a huge difference in a crowded Venice in August.
Our room was all the way in the back right next to Panoramic view terrace. So nice to be able to enjoy the view of Rialto without bumping into another tourists.
We stayed one night as post-cruise, just to unwind. Wish we stayed 2 nights.
Hotel arranged a water taxi to the airport. We paid 140 Euro for 2 persons. Water taxi is the best way to navigate Venice.
Not many restaurants or cafes have AC
We went out for lunch, came back & took a siesta then went out to St Marco Square
24 hour front desk & tons of restaurants & shops

This is a lovely traditional Venetian Hotel. It's several buildings that have been knocked-through, so getting about inside is a bit of a maze. Room was very clean, nice shower and air conditioning. There is a little terrace where you can sit outside and overlook the main canal. Many pops to the local co op & take drinks up there. The hotel is right next to Rialto Bridge, and you can sit outside for breakfast watching the world go by past Rialto Bridge. Lovely breakfast and very friendly staff. This area is a very busy hot spot, but the hotel itself is quiet.
Restaurants around Rialto Bridge and near St Marks Square are quite prices, but we like to wander to quieter spots where it's less busy and generally a little less expensive for food & drinks.
Reception were very helpful in arranging our early morning River taxi for when we departed and it was a great way to end the holiday! Being picked up straight outside the hotel and being at the airport terminal within 20 minutes was amazing. It was 140 euros, but worth it in our opinion for the experience.
A great hotel! We'd highly recommend.

Our suitcases didn’t arrive, I can not tell you how above and beyond the staff supported us and did everything in their means to help us. Our room had the most spectacular view, and was gorgeous. Yes if we did have suitcases it might have been a bit difficult as there were a lot of stairs. Breakfast wasn’t great, actually it was pretty terrible but with so many wonderful places to eat we didn’t care. Same can we said for the restaurant in the evening- not good. However as far as location, room and the absolutely phenomenal staff. We had a brilliant stay.

What a great location and a charming place. The water bus and taxis stop right in front, there are plenty of places to eat, and it's walking distance to pretty much every attraction. The hotel breakfast had good variety, and the wait staff were helpful.

This hotel is right next to the Rialto bridge and has a vapretto stop practically at its front door. It was lovely to have breakfast outside and enjoy the view of the canal and the bridge. Although I liked the old-fashioned Venetian decor, it could use some freshening up. Our room was really small and I expected that from most European hotels but just happened to come from 2 fabulous and roomy hotels before this one. It was fine and convenient.

Great stay!

This is way expensive for what the hotel has to offer, the rooms are really basic, not good mattress, difficult plug in to charge your phone, pillows are really hard and 0 comfort, really bad quality amenities in the bathroom. This hotel takes advantage for the location so they can charge almost €200 per night for a single person, for is a very simple room. They could improve so much in the rooms by simply adding comfort and good quality amenities. The only thing that I loved was the staff, super friendly and always help you in anything you need.

We had an apartment suite and the view from our suite was gorgeous. Prime area close to gondolas and taxi drop off and all restaurants. Great front desk staff.

Great location literally right by the Rialto bridge. Great service and helpfulness by front desk. Ideal location for all of Venice major attractions.

Amazing location and rooms are quite comfortable and clean. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We had an issue with the aircon and the staff moved us into a new room right away.
Being a historical building irons aren’t allowed in the room and you are required to pay to have clothes ironed.

This was a mini honeymoon break in a so called luxury hotel in prime location in Venice. I booked the honeymoon suite, the most expensive room in the hotel. I emailed ahead to tell them the stay was a honeymoon. I expected chocolates or a bottle of wine in the room but the hotels way to celebrate us spending our honeymoon with them was to shape a towel into a heart shape on the bed.
The reception staff were all sullen and at times rude. The check in welcome was cold and unfriendly. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. We ate at the hotel on our first night. Really poor pasta and lasagne that we sent back to the kitchen as it was cold in the middle.
I would not go back to this hotel and would never recommend it to friends or family. Apart from the location, I have nothing positive to say

Loved the location and the staff friendliness. The rooms were a little tatty in terms of peeling of the paint. The rooms could benefit from extra items such as a kettle or an iron however understand this may not be possible in the property. We would definitely return.

Really old dated building.. to be expected. But there was sewage smell in the bathroom. Limited counter space, narrow passages, and its a maze to get around.

Good location, excellent staff. AC was average, needs some updating.
Room could also use upgrades

Location and staff were great! The bed was terrible…so uncomfortable we could not sleep. We also had a room facing a back alley and it was incredibly loud with the garbage being taken out and doors slamming. Even from our 3rd floor room. I would not stay there again.
4.0 / 5.0
The location was perfect! Such an amazing view from our canal view room. The waterway was quite busy in the morning and crowds out at night could be heard. We closed shutters our 2nd night and that helped. This location was more amazing than we could have hoped and would absolutely stay again. Breakfast spread was somewhat limited but staff was super attentive and friendly.

The hotel is right next to the Rialto bridge and vaporetto station. Couldn’t ask for a better location. The room was small but very cute. There is a panoramic terrace. Breakfast was very good. Recommend

The staff, especially the wonderful folks who cleaned the rooms were superb! They work hard and deserve a hefty raise for their attentive personal help. The front desk folks were also very helpful and fun!
