Outside the resort was wonderful but the inside of the hotel room had horrible smell. Smell like sewage or mold, especially the bathroom. The room was old and felt disgusted. We had little to no cold water for shower, we told them, the maintenance came he said it was normal. Even though we upgraded the room it still smells the same. Not going back to Oasis Palm.

The Hotel rooms needs to be renovated . Long waiting time to eat in the restaurant and they only have 2, one wich is only pasta and pizza and the other one is a buffet, Also they dont have lot of parking. Services is not the same that it use to be before.

I loved the resort. My kids enjoyed the white sand and clear water. The staff were extra nice. Totally family-friendly.

Only one bartender all day in the Beach bar for hundreds of people. Super long waits to get a drink and super long waits for the buffet's. Also made us wait to check in till 4 PM when it's supposed to be 3 PM. Poor management at its finest. Will never be going back. Elevators are extremely hot. Some of them not working.

We booked this last minute when our trip to Punta Cana was canceled. We’ve been to Riviera Maya multiple times, Aruba multiple times, Jamaica and Curaçao. This was by far the worst resort we’ve stayed at. Mostly due to the last minute booking and not looking it up prior. Our fault. Rooms are very dated, food was terrible, service in the restaurants was decent. There are two sides to this resort… research that before you go. We were treated like peasants on the Oasis Palm side. It was terrible. Minimal dinner choices, you can’t use the pools or services on the other side, but they can come over to this side and hog up the sushi bar, drinks, our pool space, etc. I would never stay here again. Plus side: beach here was clean and water was perfection and I love how it sat on the bay near transportation. It was fun watching all of the boats come and go all day. We took a day trip to Isla Mujeres and the water there was stunning… and we’ve seen some pretty amazing water in our travels.

It was good value.

The restaurant particularly 'the hacienda' I think more should be done to keep the birds outside. No one wants to see a bird eating from a buffet tray meant for people. Not the best in terms of hygiene.

Very poor air conditioner is this hotel, in the room is a little bit better - just a little!
mini bar working poor, the closing cabinet was broken and we got a really dirty room, there was a technical problem with the drainage system in the shower during the flow of water, a terrible smell of sewage came up, the same situation with the sink next to it.

Entertainment almost daily. Good food. Tours available. Beautiful room views ...peaceful time . Attentive staff and caring front desk .

Property is advertised as being a luxury property but that is far from it. Here is our experience at this hotel.
1. Food- The staff that cooks the food does not wear gloves. Bear hands on the grill laying out chicken.
2. Check in process could improve by moving at a reasonable pace. It takes 20-30 minutes to check in besides waiting in line.
3. The restaurants require reservations that open up at 7:30 am and get filled right away so you must be fast and wake up early. Many of the restaurant cost additional not advertised
4. Staff: they don’t seem happy and hardly greet people. The ladies at the coffee shop were always sweet but reception/information desk seemed like they wanted to avoid people.
5. Pools: pools are over crowded and dirty. You can only use the Oasis palm pool. If you want to use the Grand Oasis pool you have to pay.
6. Safety box: broken in our room. Asked for another, never got one.
7. Rooms: rooms are clean but everything is outdated from the 90’s. Towels were old and ripped. Had to ask for blankets 3 times till we got some. They had large wholes in them.
8. Service: no room service. Can’t take food to your room for your kids.
9. House keeping: they will not clean your room unless you call 2-3 times for them.
10. Arcade: only half work
11. Kids club: again very slow process to check in your kids. Hidden.
12. Shows/entertainment: shows start at 9 PM and 10 PM. Most kids are asleep then.
Been to Cancun over 7 times, worst experience.

We had the BEST time at this resort! We are a family of 6, two adults and four children. Children are two teens and two that are 5 and 6. There was something for every single one of us to do, all the time! The staff were so friendly and great to the kids. The kids ordered as many slushies and ice creams as they could handle and the staff never got irritated at them at all. There were always so many people cleaning, serving, doing activities, etc. I would recommend this place to anyone and we are already planning a stay for next year! Thank you!!

The all inclusive wrist bands, what you book and what you get is not the same. They do not provide sufficient towels for all travelers, room service staff do not speak English which makes it had to ask for assistance, AC in the room was horrible, complained twice and nothing was done. TV didn’t work - wrong remote, shelves in the bathroom falling off in the bathroom, rooms not vacuumed.

The resort and food were okay but the staff were not helpful at all. As a family with three little kids I got 0 help the first three days.

The property was very nice and the cleanliness was great

Minifridge did not worked properly, shower did not have a door or curtain.

The room looked like it was still under construction, paint on the tile, there was a broken lamp, the shower head was very old and rusty. Shower was missing the shower door. When taking a shower water would get everywhere. I was told by staff everyone that bookes by orbitz gets the worst rooms. They gave us a light blue wrist band and thats considered the worst band to have. With limited services.

Very rude staff. From the start was very unprofessional. Mad that I found a better rate through Travelocity. They are robbing people and trying to always sell you on something. My daughter wet the bed the first night and they tried charging us $100usd for damaged sheets. Claiming that’s the cost to clean it. Called a few Laundromats and they said that is robbery. The food is horrible, cold and old. The drinks are watered down. When you address the concerns, no one cares. Definitely do NOT recommend.

Resort needs updates. Had a really hard time getting house keeping towels and wash cloths

Lack of initial information provided at the property. We had to find out everything on our own little by little. I feel that we were poorly treated.

This is a budget resort; let's get that out there. This is one of the 'child friendly' resorts. So it's cheaper. Every place in this resort is designed to be slow and complicated.
Check out a towel --> wait in line
Turn the towel back in --> wait in line
Every other day they don't clean the rooms (the lie is that there are Mexican environmental rules).
You'll be asked to tip constantly.
They have multiple pools, but you'll be regulated to a certain pool depending on your wrist band color. And they enforce the rules with enthusiasm.
Also, they have a weird dress code. Even by the pool, you'll have to have full clothes and shoes to go to the restaurant. (Plus only one restaurant is open).
If you're desiring better treatment, less noise, better cleanliness; then pay more money and go elsewhere.
A good thing: Kids like this place
