Pros: It's an overall nice hotel that will give you a place to sleep, shower, and get ready before you head out to wherever you need to go. They change the cover sheets around the comforters, so you don't have to worry about the cover carrying the skin cells and other leftovers from the last five guests (but if you're bothered by the comforters not being fresh, then I'd request a new one). They have nice Dove products for hand wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which are in secured bottles instead of single-use products. The brand name also means that your hair and skin is less likely to suffer from its use. It's in an excellent location that makes walking to any place in downtown SLC convenient.
Cons: The check-in parking is a little hard to see if you don't know where you're looking, so watch out--it's a narrow pull-in on a busy main street, and you'll have to go around the block to try again if you miss it (speaking from experience). The shower ceiling area had some mold patches on it, which was kinda gross but not a deal-breaker. Concierge will give you a parking pass card to tuck at the front of your windshield so you won't get towed, but it's small enough that it can easily slip down between the glass and the dashboard (also speaking from experience, but we were fortunate to not get in trouble for it).
Also, the concierge was manning everything all by himself! Even though it was less busy at night, I felt bad for him.
Verdict: Will book again.

Breakfast was decent but everything else was horrible

Checking in took about 15 minutes as I was waiting behind just one other customer and there was only one employee working the front desk. He did not even apologize for the long wait. Otherwise no concerns.

The check in clerk was very kind and informative! The breakfast was really goof!
1.5
My checkin took about 30 minutes due to the front desk clerk not knowing how to check someone in. Instead of the lady that was there with her helping and getting me checked in to the 3 rooms, she continued to help others while my family sat outside waiting for our parking.

Perfect for events at the Salt Palace, since it's just across the street.
Bathroom is a bit old, but the room was spacious and clean,
They did not however make the wakeup call as promised.

Bed was firm but comfy. Room was clean. Dove products available in room to use. Breakfast was a nice variety and good!

Everything went very well and the front desk gal that checked us in was amazing. Thanks for everything.

Super clean. Every time I went out, someone was cleaning the common areas. The room was nice except I had to lift the bathroom door in order to be able to lock it which was a pain. The breakfast seems to have gone downhill. Not that it’s not bein prepared properly, but that the quality seems low.

It was very nice! Good service. Pleasant people

The quality of the room wasn't even close to the description on the website. The amenities were sparse, room poorly decorated, bare bones - and not worth the price charged

There was a lot of construction going on around the hotel.

The shower was broken. They charged $20 for parking. The we are not ready sign was on the door placed the night before and we still got a knock on our door before 8am.

Nice hotel. Clean, good options all around.

The room smelled like smoke, like cigarette or electrical smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room.

Gym was terrible.

Room smelled terrible. We had one room for two nights and another for one. They did not specify which room was for two nights so we had to scramble and get our stuff out as they woyld not let us stay in the original room we were in. Then used the fzct that we had used expedia as an excuse. If you dont want third party reservations or are going to treat customers fiffefent becaude of that, you shouldnt use third party sites.

Staff was super friendly. Everything was newer and clean.
3.0
It was a difficult time trying to find parking but it was because of the construction that was nearby at the time. The staff was friendly and patient despite the amount of customers they were helping. Our room did have a smell to it as if someone had vomited. We had to bear through it since we were staying there for one night. Despite all this, i would book again in the future.
