Clean room a little outdated but spacious and comfortable.

Clean and relaxing room.

The hotel has great amenities, including an indoor pool, hot tub and shuttle bus to take you downtown. Beds were a little hard, but otherwise room was very comfortable with a fridge and nice bedding. Unfortunately there was a large number of families with children that seemed to be together (travel sports?) and did not have any respect for other travelers. They were loud, running through hallways, the pool and the conference room making it hard to get sleep. Not the fault of the hotel but I wish they had an enforced quiet hour.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff! This is our go to hotel every time we visit Traverse City. Feels like home!

Great location right on the front street and the waterfront. We booked it during the off-season so there's a small construction on the building site. The two-queen-bed room is roomy and clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool area was clean with hot tub. The front desk staff is nice and efficient. The breakfast area feels tiny. We could hear the noise from the room on top of us.

This was one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. Some updates are needed (carpet) but it was exceptionally clean. Kudos to the staff at this hotel.

Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff. Will be staying here again.

Everyone was very friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Our rooms were clean and ready when we got there.

When we were checking in, our reservation was not in their system. It didn't get there from the email. They upgraded our room, which wasn't necessary, to a bay view room. The staff is always pleasant every time we have been there. We definitely recommend Bayshore Resort for your stay in Traverse City.

Everything was adequate and comfortable. We were very happy with our stay. Good selections for breakfast, a fire burning when coming in from the cold, hot tea and coffee always available and an ice cream fridge for your late night sweet tooth. Arcade for the kiddo, laundry and right on the water! Great price, comfortable beds and lots of little extras that made our stay just perfect! Also, location cannot be beat!

It was good. The staff very friend.

The front desk was very accommodating, and we were grateful. Our room looked out to the pool area and there was a fun group of adults enjoying themselves. However, we had to be up quite early, and the noise level was pretty high. We made a call explaining our situation, and she not only moved us to a different room, but didn’t make us pay the extra amount for having a room facing the bay. We slept great, and truly appreciated them working with us.

Heat did not work and they were soooo nice.
Nick came and serviced it. Nice guy.
They moved me 2 doors down with fall beach view.
Perfect!
It reminded me to be good to other people; you don’t know what they have been through.
Excellent service and top notch amenities.
Will Definitely put this on list of faves in Traverse City.

From entry I felt a cozy sort of safe. The beautifly decorated entry had a burning fire place and a pool with clean clear water waiting to be used. The staff was knowledgable, polite, curtious, and genuine. The staff felt appreciated and wanted to be there. One even sparked up polite conversation during her break to see if she could help us navigate around the area. Amazingly... they had some construction going on. It was still clean, tidy, and quiet.

This is the best place to stay in Taverse City for my wife and I.

Management was great. Hotel ands pool and breakfast were very good. The bad, we ended up being woke up and kept up from 2 AM to 4 AM due to noisy guests in the adjoining room. I called Front desk, and they called and they ask them to quiet down, which they did but still talked too loudly until second call to front desk at 4:15 am. A manager called a couple days later and gave us 50% credit due to noisy guests that kept us up.

Very clean. Very nice breakfast.

The room was clean and well stocked up on arrival. What I really like is the daily-cleaning-upon-request model. No worries about the knocking on the door at an ungodly hour to do something we wouldn't do in our own home on a daily basis.

We had an excellent stay. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. Great location, great continental breakfast

Room was right on the beach. Perfect for someone who can’t do steps. Beautiful beach area.

Great except for of the two young women helping me at checkout deal with some confusion over bill- one was kind the other, Ferrell, surprisingly unkind.

Waterfront property, Great location, within walking distance to downtown. Hotel offers free shuttle service if you don’t want to make the 1/2 mile walk.
We took our breakfast down to the patio and drank our coffee beachside.
Hotel lobby offers ice cream options for those with a late night sweet tooth.
Showers are small with no where to place your toiletries but we we were upgraded to the hot tub room which made for a nice bath.
Beds were comfy enough.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful room and view! Desk Staff very friendly and helpful. We will stay there again!

Lovely stay in a room right on beach. Had to subtract a star for front desk staff at checkout Sunday AM 10/13.
One, Pharrell? Farel? Was actively hostile and rude when I was confused about my bill. The other young woman at desk was sympathetic and tried to help. Unfortunately the level of Pherel (spelling?) rudeness and hostility really marred our last minutes there.

The room was not cleaned
They use disposable packets for EVERYTHING

This was an awesome experience, I will definitely be staying here again. Everything was so smooth from check in to check out. Get the beach walk out room, you may even see the Northern Lights!

It was a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and let us know all the information to know during our stay the day of check in. Location close to downtown traverse. Would definitely stay here next visit.

Most things were fine. Our room was sort of in a corner and didn't have a direct view of the water like a lot of the other rooms with views. Also- there is construction going on right next to the hotel and the workers started at around 7 am banging and making a lot of noise. That was VERY annoying.
4.0
The rooms are comfortable and the walls thick enough that the only activity one hears (in general) is the folks/children in the hallways. The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful; the manager is a gem who seems to really care about the guests AND the staff. The food served for our group reception was not great (do not know its origin, in-house or brought in), but edible. The only real negative for me were the uncomfortable pillows. Bring your own if you can!

We really enjoyed our stay - primarily because of the great staff/service, but also because this is on the beach, has a nice free breakfast buffet, wonderful large spa tubs and nice balconies over the beach if you want an upgraded room. The pool and hot tub are indoors but not crowded, as was the gym. Very close to TC restaurants and offers a free shuttle around town. Def would stay again!

Absolutely perfect bay view from our room and patio which makes up for a few small things I did not like, primarily the broken lock to our patio door which was “fixed” by using a broom stick. This place hit the mark on cleanliness, which is huge for us, the employees were all great, which is a nice surprise these days, and although the breakfast was just ok, it is free, so expectations should not be too high.. we will be back for sure and I will also tell anyone who is going to tc to give this place a shot. We did not use the shuttle but I thought that was also a great benefit and I saw people using it.

This was our second trip to the Traverse area and we were looking for something walking distance to downtown since the night-time transportation options are limited. The location was perfect, room was amazing and the view breathtaking! The jacuzzi tub was a nice bonus after all of the walking. We will definitely be coming back!

We were fortunate to book 2 rooms at the last minute for just 1 night We really didn’t know what to expect- it was lovely with beautiful beach right out the door! We are definitely returning next year but hope to stay for 5 days. Staff was so welcoming. Have already recommended to others. Of note we were so close to downtown could have walked but we took the free shuttle. The driver was so informative and friendly. Recommended a place for after dinner that did not disappoint.

The hotel was very clean. Check in was easy, and the staff was friendly. Would recommend as a place to stay close to the downtown area.
