The hotel advertised a hot tub, but signs at floor level and in the elevator have the hot tub line scribbled out with black marker. The pool level flooring is warped and covered in duct tape. Parking costs an additional $15/ day that was not advertised, and parking is limited and/or full evenings and weekends.

Loved the view of the lake & so convenient for getting around.

Always appreciate staying here by the water. The staff are always friendly, the rooms comfortable and it feels safe. REALLY appreciate the gluten free bread and some other options at breakfast!

Room was clean. Cons were the pool was very cold and room pillows and pool towels were hobbit sized (child sized!)

The location is beautiful and convenient. Everything is in good shape. We had a very comfortable one night stay. Just little surprised they charge guests for self parking.

Overall, ok except the room stayed very warm on a cold night even with the heat turned low, the hallway carpet was very dirty, and there wasn’t much food selection at the breakfast.

Clean . I loved the location

Unfortunately the costumer reviews do not reflect the condition and and service of the hotel.
Young lady front desk was beyond lovely, professional and respectful.
Our room had mold in the shower, blackouts had holes, carpets had several stains, 3 lights were broken or not working.
When requesting for someone to check on at least the lights, we had a very unprofessional lady at the reception interrupting me when I was trying to let them know of what we found.
The same night our room was assigned to another couple which while we were out they found their room, being occupied by us.
Restaurant: service was amazing, great food and lovely view.

Excellent hotel with fantastic staff in a beautiful location on the waterfront. Generous breakfast every morning and accommodating with children.
The following has nothing to do with the hotel as it is out of their control but unfortunately there are a**holes racing outside all hours of the night so it it a bit noisy :/

Beautiful lake-front property with an attached pub. Check in was easy and we did not have issues finding parking even late at night on a Friday. Parking is $15/day + Taxes so be aware. Our room was perfect for us two traveling and included everything we needed. The bathroom had some damage that looked like it was patched up poorly. We were given a room with and adjoining door and it was unfortunate as we got to see the light from the next room over for most the night coming through the bottom of the door. The room was warm and the a/c unit would not go lower than 66 and would turn off shortly after starting despite the fact that it was still warm in the room. The lakefront walkway is right outside the hotel and the views are beautiful. We unfortunately did not get a room with a view but got to enjoy it outside.
We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast provided. Possibly the best complimentary breakfast we've had at a hotel ever.

Bad old tv with no HD picture quality,
80’ light fixtures, not bright room at all.
Won’t recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel.
Shawar head was so small, not enough water pressure to enjoy shawar.
Worst furniture.

After calling 2x to verify that we would be checking in after midnight due to our late flight, we arrived at the hotel, only to find very loud dance music coming from the club on premise. We were told it would be no problem for us. We walk down to our room, on the first floor, which was directly ACROSS from the source of music, & looked directly out onto their patio restaurant area filled with lights.
With curtains closed, a ton of light was visible- like the beach at noon.
We go back to the front desk to ask nicely for a new room, & are told- Nope, Sorry. We are full.
So it was "lovely" that they had saved the worst room for us- Room 123.
Bonus- the bed in the room was like sleeping on a concrete slab.
The next day, in our room getting ready for a memorial service, there are 8 young boys sitting directly outside our window- as in I could have opened the window to pass them the lunch they were clearly waiting on. After seeing me, they started knocking on our window. Repeatedly. Because of course, why not, when you see people in a bedroom that is on the perimeter of the restaurant seating area.
Back to the front desk, and we are told- Oh yes, everyone complains about that room!
The fact that they were aware of it & gave us this room anyway? Mindboggling & terrible service
REALLY?! Why not turn it into a meeting space then?
Moved to the 5th floor- where for 2 hrs that night guests proceeded to yell and slam doors from 12 to 2 am.
Stay away if you enjoy sleeping!

We were travelling with another couple, and the hotel did not have a room for them despite their reservation. The hotel staff never once apologized, just said that they were in an oversold situation. When they found them another room about 20 minutes away, they assumed we would drive them there. Our own room was in the lowest level, and quite dank. The bathroom smelled like cigarettes. When the blackout shade was lowered, it would not go back up.

It was very convenient location for the wedding we were attending. Walked to church and reception.

The property was in a great location. Besides that, I wasn't overly impressed. There is a parking fee. The Air conditioner was so loud- sounded like an airplane taking off and there was mold on the bathroom wall. Also, wish the view from the rooms was better there are trees all along the property blocking the view of the lake.

I stay here quite frequently—love the location and the staff. The hotel is showing its age/wear though: many things not working in room I.e.: TV, multiple electrical outlets, broken hooks in bathroom, that sort of thing.
6.0
Great area but hotel is dated, paint chipping on door, bathroom fan not working, no remote for tv in room. The hall was extremely hot. Parking was an additional $15 a day. I did not see this during booking only became aware once we checked in so was shocked. We had 2 cars for 3 nights.
The hotel has some positives, location. Being downtown we were able to get to places without having to drive. Walk the pier/water.

I’ve always come back because it’s right on the waterfront

The first room they gave us was right next to the bar and then the second room they placed us in, the door locked us out and had to break the door open to get us in. They had to have a security guard to stay in front of our room because they did not have any rooms to place us in. Horrible experience and when we went to speak to a manager there wasn’t anyone there and have not called me yet.

Property was clean...
Had dinning option and was in near proximity to other good spots.
Enjoyed the experience

Great location, right downtown on the lake. Lots to do within walking distance. Fair price, hallways and room carpets could be cleaner but overall good place to stay. Parking was complimentary a couple months ago but now $15/ night

The hotel room had a bad smell. Spider webs on the walls. Needs renovations. Not worth the amount we were charged. The hallway floors had ducts tapes to repair damages.Parking was extra. Parking lot attendant was very kind. Hotel staff did not care about customers complaints. Not impressed and wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there

Uncomfortable beds and security guys were very rude and racist staff was okay but security woke us up two time in middle of the night to ask if everything was okay

The hotel claims to not have a single parking spot for their guests. You are made to find a spot somewhere for yourself and at your own expense in one of the busiest locations. Staff are rude and dismissive and literally do not care. They refuse to provide a refund for not providing what we booked for. The A/C unit in our first room sounds like an airplane taking off carrying a bag of nails and literally could not sleep with the noise. The desk staff came to the room and told us it was just a fan noise. I demanded a new room which he told me was not available. I told him to call a manager and figure out either a different room or provide a full refund and miraculously a new room was free. So basically you were just lying through your teeth and thought that was acceptable. The 2nd room offered had a toilet that didn't work properly and sounded like the bathtub pipes were going to explode when trying to flush it. The rooms are dirty and the stairwell is atrocious. The hotel used to be a nice place to stay but is run down and filthy. Save yourself a huge headache and disappointment and spend a bit more to stay at The Pearl. At least there you will be treated far better.

Location is beautiful, by the water
Room was spacious
Breakfast was decent
will stay again

So, at the price charged, I think adding $15.00 per day to park is ridiculous. Similarly the cheesy breakfast nook with plastic knives that are too flimsy to spread the butter. The desk chair in my room was badly worn and torn. The startling white caulking in the shower should be repaired properly. Perhaps instructions how to use the heat/cool system and the controller needs a battery. Staff should advise of the secret code for the internet access at check in instead of hoping visitors find it.

Need more parking for your guests. Had to keep driving around to find parking spot. Also parking should be free for your hotel guests.
