We loved our stay here! The room was clean and comfortable - breakfast was great daily and all the employees were wonderful to talk to! They have small gatherings in the evenings where we were able to chat with other guests and the employees. The area is older and beautiful! Parking is on street and can be limited, but as we planned this trip to walk everywhere this was no issue for us. We would definitely stay here again!

The Eliza Thompson house was absolutely perfect! It was in a great location where you can walk to the river and all the historic sites. It was the highlight of our trip as we relaxed every morning for a delicious breakfast in the beautiful and lush courtyard. Our room had a view of the courtyard and we couldn’t get enough of it. It made our stay in beautiful Savannah even that much better. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again!!

Beautiful hotel, very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and was delicious. They also had wine and appetizer in the evening and coffee, tea, port wine and dessert at night. The rooms were updated and comfortable. There was a beautiful courtyard to relax in. I would highly recommend this hotel. We will be back.

My husband and I have stayed at Eliza Thompson Inn on several occasions. The staff has always been courteous and helpful with smiles on their faces. We particularly like the rooms around the courtyard. Highly recommend ❤️

Awesome experience! Chic yet small and personalized service all the way during our entire stay. Employees seemed happy to be working there, always with a smile and willing to assist. 😃 Did you know that this location not only offers an amazing customized daily breakfast but also Hors d'oeuvres in the Lobby from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, and bite size desserts from 8:00 to 9:00 pm? Refreshments and coffee are also available 24/4 in the Lobby area. 👍 This lovely surprise made our visit even better. The location is charming, with great, antique decoration and great amenities. Walking distance and super close to nice restaurants, Squares and chic boutiques and stores. We are already planning to come back. ❤️

Highly recommend this location for the southern hospitality and charm. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of nice tree lined streets. It’s easy to walk around the neighborhood and close to the waterfront. The air conditioning unit works great but a bit loud. The service is outstanding

My sister and I did a quick trip to Savannah for one night. We absolutely loved our stay at the Eliza Thompson House! The entire staff were so pleasant and helpful. The location was perfect to walk everywhere that we wanted to visit. We are planning another trip back to the Eliza Thompson House to stay more nights!

It’s a well kept historical home. Our room however smelled like an old trunk from the 1800s. Very musty. The garden patio area was beautiful! The parlor with daily hors d’oeuvres and wine is nice… However…. We had the “chef” inspired breakfast…. Inedible! I had the shrimp and grits…. One bite was enough… not good. My daughter had the pecan waffles… she was grossed out. We left breakfast quite hungry…. Found a nice place for breakfast. The workers are very pleasant and friendly. Our room was cleaned daily…. The room: again musty old smell…. Tiny shower…high queen bed… they provide a little step stool to get into the bed. Bath products were nice….bottled water replaced daily… the property is well kept and the neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. Steps away from Forsyth Park…. Bull street will take you right to the Riverside. Expensive…not really worth the price:… but can strike this establishment off my “bucket list”. Air conditioner sounded like a jet engine taking off every 2-2 minutes… maybe it needed serve?? We woke up every 15-20 minutes due to the loud A/C unit.

The Eliza Thompson is a gem of a historic house, beautifully decorated with an old, charming and elegant character. Well located on E.Jones street, close to Forsyth Park and walkable in the touristic district. The staff showed that they really cared about the customers. Jennifer called us ahead of time to explain about the parking and helped us find a good spot to park. The breakfast was offered in the lovely garden courtyard and was fresh and delicious. The chef was very accommodating to prepare us a take out breakfast on the day we left early to bring with us to the airport. The 5-7 cheese and wine and the nightly dessert and port in the parlor were in a cozy setting. We felt pampered and really loved our stay there. We will love to stay at the Elizabeth Thompson House again next time we are in Savannah. A big thank you to all the staff.

My husband and I were in Savannah to celebrate our anniversary and found the Eliza Thompson House to be just perfect! The staff were friendly, happy to answer our questions and full of suggestions. The location was so convenient to dining and sightseeing. Our room was just gorgeous - comfortable bed, tons of space with a desk and a sitting area. The bathroom was well stocked and spacious. The courtyard is simply beautiful, with quiet nooks to sit and read among the greenery. The food was great, and such a treat to end the day with a yummy dessert and 24/7 coffee/tea/soda. Went above and beyond our expectations.

We only stayed one night but when we get back to Savannah I will plan to stay here again. The building is beautiful, the staff was very helpful and our room was clean with good lighting in the bathroom (I hate trying to get ready for the day and put on makeup in poor lighting.) The location was perfect for walking. We were able to park our car when we arrived and never had to move it until we left.

Wonderful staff and beautiful place. The location is suburb for being in the charm of Savannah. We walked in every direction and it’s so close to Forsythe Park and the busier downtown area.
