We loved the location, it had a lot of room, very adequate parking, and the view of the sunset was awesome. My only complaint was the lack of cooking utensils such as spatula, serving spoons. We had a work around and was able to cook using the out door long handle ones. I would come back again and stay there…thank you for a wonderful memory.

This was our first trip to the North Shore. We absolutely loved the location. Being right on the beach, we took advantage of Chun's surf spot and incredible sunsets. We hope to return sooner than later!

After having to reschedule our Hawaiian vacation due to the pandemic, I happily found this property on the north shore to rent. It is a lovely property that is right on the water. It is not a beach in front, rather lava rocks but you can walk a short distance to a beach entrance. We stayed on the main level of the house which is split into three units. It was the perfect size for our family of four (two teenagers) plus my parents. There are many fans throughout the home and tons of windows to keep the air flowing. A couple of days were a little hot, but it was June.
The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and there are smaller grocery stores in both Haleiwa and north past Waimea. Both bathrooms were recently remodeled and had newer towels. There were beach towels provided and two washer/dryers. The dryer closest to the house did not work correctly (maybe the heating element was out?) but the other one worked fine.
There was tons of snorkeling gear provided and boogie boards. We were grateful for the beach umbrella but could have used a few more of the real low beach chairs.
Be advised, the location of this house is great. But since we were last on the north shore the traffic has really gotten bad. Allow lots of time to get anywhere between 8am and 7pm.
Thanks for a lovely time in a great spot!

Great beach house. Amazing beach access, fun surf break to the left and right of the house, and lovely views. Even though it’s right off the road, stepping inside and hanging on the porch takes you away from the crowds and the traffic. The teenagers loved the access to the surf and the beach.
Close proximity to Waimea Bay, Haleiwa, and Pipeline.
We would definitely return!

The whole process was so easy! The location cannot be beat! We loved the views and loved the backyard and short walk to the beach. Upon arrival we did have a very specific request for an allergy of one of my guests with me. The property manager was so quick to respond and took our request and resolved it that same day! I would rent this home again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much to Kelly!! You were amazing!! Mahalo!

The downstairs unit was good. A little loud with little feet upstairs but not terrible. We saw 21plus turtles on the small beach. Enough beds for my 4 teenage kids. Washer and dryer for each unit was really helpful. Windows and deck could have been cleaner. Maybe have windex and magic easier for crazy people like me.

We loved sitting on the back porch and watching the surfers brave the huge waves. Every now and then we would see a humpback whale in the distance. The town close by has lots of restaurants and shops to go to. The house has no AC and that wasn’t a big problem in February but I think it would be a little too warm in the summer to sleep in the back bedroom because some of the windows open up to a stairwell for the basement and not the outside. The cleaning people could be more detailed when it came to the corners of the floors and the base of the windows and there were ants in the master bath sink every morning. Beds were nice, towels were good quality, kitchen was well stocked, and the yard was lovely. Plenty of parking for people above us and ourselves. I would stay there again; you can’t beat the location.

Love the convenience of the location, short walk to beautiful beaches, listening to waves at night.

The house was perfect for our family of five. My kids loved playing on the grass area in front of house. From great surf, sea turtles laying in the sand, sandy beach for relaxing, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. We will definitely be back soon!

What a wonderful experience! Location is ideal - on the water and steps away from an awesome beach. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night, then waking to see the surfers lined up out in the water. Property owners are kind, generous and very responsive. The nearby town of Haleiwa has restaurants, shops, and the world famous Matsumoto Shave Ice. (Yum!)The unit itself is very comfortable. Don’t expect high-end upgrades; if you want a “resort” experience, stay at the Ritz. But for a family, it has everything you need to relax and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings.Book this property! You won’t regret it. :)

We absolutely loved this place and had a great time.

This place was great! Close to the beach, great scenery, and great amenities. My family loved the views and enjoyed making it to the beach everyday. The tide pools which are close were great for the kids. Turtles are everywhere on the beaches and in the ocean. Definitely recommend renting this place because it’s so relaxing.

My daughter, two grandsons, and I had a wonderful time staying in Surfside A for a week. We wanted to stay on the North Shore near Haleiwa so the location was perfect. We enjoyed the shops, restaurants, and shaved ice in Haleiwa. The view was amazing! I loved sitting on the deck watching the winter waves and the surfers. And there were turtles!
The house was well stocked with dishes and cookery. We stayed on the lower level which was great for me because I have trouble with stairs. My grandsons enjoyed the TV when they weren't busy with an activity or playing on the beach. You can hear the people on the upper level so that would be something to consider if you are a light sleeper.
Booking a reservation was easy and they refunded my security deposit quickly. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend staying here to friends.

Our family stayed 9 nights in the upper unit during August and loved every minute of our stay. To start with the owner and booking agents (Team Realty) were very efficient with our reservation and forwarded comprehensive instructions on getting to the property and picking up keys (we arrived in Oahu at 9.30pm so everything was done in the dark)
Everything at the property was as stated. The views from the lanai were truly amazing. What a special feeling to wake up on the first morning (and every morning) to the sights and sounds of the ocean. Chuns beach is excellent for swimming and snorkelling around the rocks. Nice rock pools for the younger kids too. Turtles sleeping on a small secluded beach nearby was a special treat. The property had plenty of cutlery, pots and pans and general utensils. Nothing required apart from some supplies at the local supermarket. The unit was very spacious, clean and the location 2kms from Hale'iwa town was perfect. Waimea bay, Sharks cove and other fabulous beaches are a short drive up the coast (5 minutes to Waimea) Our teenage boys appreciated the internet too...Guess its a must for some:))
The ceiling fans were more than adequate in keeping us cool during the evenings or at night whilst the ability to fall asleep listening to the waves was very special. I'm not normally an 'early' person, but I just could not help in getting up at 5am, sitting on the lanai with a coffee and watching the sun rise. Sunsets were gorgeous too. There is the occasional 'bug' but given the location its nothing I would not expect to see. This is a lovely 'honest' beach house and we would definately love to visit again. Just to finish, the agents returned our security deposit (minus cleaning as expected) two days after we vacated the property.
Thank you to the owners and property management. We had a truly wonderful vacation.

We were very impressed with the property. The location was ideal, stunning looking out to the Ocean, with Chuns Beach just a few rocks away! Whether sitting on the lanai, or out on the lounges in the backyard, the views to be taken in were majestic. The house was lovely, very comfortable, and spacious. A perfect Beach House!
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this property to fellow Australians who are looking to come over to visit beautiful Hawaii. In particular, the amazingly beautiful North Shore.
This beach house provided a perfect location for a relaxing holiday.

Eight of us rented the house for a family holiday from Jan. 27 to Feb. 10. We ranged in age from 70 to 4. We were very comfortable. It had everything we needed, from a yard for the 4 year old to play to a view from the deck we ever tired of. The house was well equipped for cooking and had plenty of bedding and towels. The outdoor shower was such a treat. Don't miss the bakery "Teds" near Sunset Beach. The little town of Haleiwa was a delight and we found dining and grocery prices comparable to home. The home's central location makes it perfect for touring the beautiful island.

The location of this house is stunning. We saw sea turtles on the rocks in the back yard and the house is just a short walk to beautiful sandy beaches. Close to great snorkeling at Shark's Cove and Waimea Beach. Accommodations were clean. The selection of pots and pans in the kitchen wasn't great. Lots of bugs inside and out. Although there is a nice breeze and ceiling fans in most of the rooms, the house gets very warm, especially as the sun is going down. All things considered, we had a great stay and loved the location and scenery, but probably won't stay here again.
