To start with when we have the refrigerator somebody’s food has been left behind yucky, but not a big deal however about 7 PM on Saturday night we took the dogs out for a short walk. We just took the dogs no phones no keys and the hotel key my son drove up. We were talking to him. I went back to the room. The key stopped working went up to the front office. There was a sign due to personnel shortage. We are closed from 3 to 11. Call this number for an emergency, I was standing up there another customer was up there with the same issue. Their key had also stopped working. We all tried several times to call the number and got nothing but a voicemail we contacted corporate. They couldn’t get a hold of anybody. It was cold. I have medical issues finally about quarter after nine he answered the phone and told me I had a family emergency. My family comes first. There was a sign on the door. You’ll just have to wait. I’ll be there in 20 minutes. I understand crap comes up, but when you are running a business like this, and I spoke to a couple other residents who would come out see while we were hanging around the front lobby and they said no he’s usually closed from now until then it was very very and then when he did show up, he pretty much my husband said we need REC key for 131 he keep it and that was it. He didn’t apologize for our inconvenience or nothing. I am now running a fever And coughing uncontrollably. I have never received such horrible service.

We liked that fact that there was no carpet, clean,
good value, older facility. Inside room horizontal services could use a good dusting.

Checked into the room, there was a wasp on the window on the inside, my friend who I was staying with went to the front desk about it, to which their response was “rooms are connected to the outside, they clean with the doors open”

It was a nice clean room which had been completely renovated. We had microwave and refrigerator. The towels and sheets were all nice. The bed was comfortable. And the guy who checked us in was amazing

The room was decent. Curtains didn’t hang all the way. Water damage on ceiling in bathroom. Hardly any pressure in shower. Bed was not very comfortable could feel springs in mattress.

Dirty and nasty

The room was filthy. There was a pair of socks on the floor. The shower was visibly dirty. There was a yellow film on the sink. The door was difficult to open once unlocked. The toilet ran constantly. I do not know how it got a favorable overall rating. I would not recommend anyone staying at this property.

As a single female traveler, I was rather apprehensive about the “kegger” taking place in the parking lot with all male participants. I realize it was a Friday night, people are entitled to unwind , they appeared to be contractors, but it did last until well after midnight. I was on edge all night long, therefore not sleeping much. Probably won’t book again. The room was clean, the host at the desk very pleasant. I will commend staff

The manager was welcoming and efficient. He quickly resolved an issue with the room's smoke detector once I reported it. The hotel's location felt safe and the room was quiet and comfortable. The room seemed a little worn and the bathtub had a few stains but everything seemed clean. The room contained all the expected essentials. I would recommend it to friends,

The bathroom door was so misaligned from a broken hinge it would not shut properly. It looks like it has been broken fir a long time.

I was charged for the stay on both may cards and have not received my payment back on the card. One card was used to book the room with. Used one card for the reservation then paid with a different card when checking out.

They have definitely attempted to revive this particular hotel with a remodel. However, i do not think it was done completely appropriately. The room and lobby smell musty. Staff was excellent and it looks clean, other than the musty smell, and the area around the hotel is safe, so decent place to lay your head. I was a little miffed about the gentleman who was yelling on the balcony at 4am for 30 minutes. Restaurant selections around the hotel are great! All-in-all the okayest hotel i have been too in a while.

The room color was dark. Needs a fresh coat of cream paint. The floor was dirty. The coffeemaker had old coffee stains in it. The AC was good. Towels were thin but ok. Well lit parking areas and lots of lights around rooms.

There is a bed and a bathroom and they allowed my pet.
That's the best of this stay.
The property seems to be under renovation, both inside the rooms and outside. The room I had was somewhat finished but still had stains on the ceiling. There was recent painting on the walls. The flooring throughout was vinyl. Not real clean as it felt gritty. The bedding was stained but seemed clean. The "breakfast" was bananas, apples, yogurt, waffles, and burritos with cold cereal and milk...coffee.
I don't recommend staying here until all the renovation is done and clean, new, unstained bedding is supplied.

Arrived very late, weather was terrible. Originally they had a room up the stairs for us. I had knee replacement surgery and the kind gentleman saw I was having trouble walking. Without me asking, he moved us to the first floor.

I stay here every time I go through Abingdon. Once I find a place that suits my needs, I keep going there. The only problem this time that the toilet had to be flushed between two and four times every time for all the water to go down. There may be a belly in the pipe leading out under the building which I would expect to be expensive to repair.

Desk person was friendly, competent and helpful. Location and patking were convenient. They accepted my pup. No extra chsrhe and there was plenty of room to ealk her. Just off the highway but didnt hear any traffic. What more could i ask for?
