This hotel is spectacular! From you arrive and until you leave, you have the feeling of being appreciated as a guest. You're not just another guest. I asked to have a room with a view to Etna, and surely they gave me a room with a view to Etna. They even let me stay for one more night even though they were closing for the season. The room was stunning. You could sit in the window sill and have a cup of coffee and look at Etna in the morning. The room also had an outdoor space with a beautiful table and two chairs, two sunbeds and a parasol. The breakfast was fantastic and very tasteful with bread, cheese and ham, omelet, a salad, different kinds of juice and fruit and desserts/cakes. They also served different kinds of coffee. Everyone is so friendly and greets you with a smile. They are genuine. It's not a performance or fake. You can easily tell if someone is not being genuine and if it's a fake smile. The people in this hotel are genuine and I get a warm feeling when thinking about how they treated me as a guest. At one point during breakfast, one of the servers said; "Are you ok? You are changing colour",meaning that I was about to get sunburned. As I was going back to my room, he said; "have you tasted the desserts?". I said no and he said "come come" and then he put a few of the desserts on a plate for me to take back to the room. These people care, and I am definitely coming back. Beautiful hotel overlooking the Mediterranean. We were lucky to get a room that also faced Mount Etna. The breakfasts were beyond delicious. It was a feast for a king with a wide selection of frittatas, pies, desserts and fruits. Staff were extremely kind, and ready to help. There is also parking on site.

Such a lovely old school hotel. Nestled on the hillside it was in easy walking distance to the shopping, cable car and bus terminal. Breakfast was excellent and different each morning. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Great value for the level of service and accommodation.

It was the most amazing hotel I have ever visited!!! Spectacular view, friendly staff. Varied and delicious breakfast. City senter, bus stop are very close. Beuatiful garden belongs to the hotel. Amazig view to Etna and to the sea. I really loved the unique retro Sicilian vibe of the hotel!! I definitely recommend it to everyone!! Must have in Taormina!! 😍

We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The staff were super nice, the breakfast was delicious and the view was gorgeous. We had a small child in a stroller but it is no problems if you’re ok with carrying it up the stairs in the hotel and up the stairs to town. We had a room with a terras and it was very nice, it had two sun beds and a table for two outside. We can highly recommend this place!

The views are beautiful and close enough to the center of Taormina! There is a bus shuttle to take you down to the beach if you grab a couple of beach loungers and an umbrella for a very affordable price.

The property is conviently located to walk to the city center. The on-site parking is tight but that is typical for Sicily, though they do have an employee that will move/park cars if needed. Nice views and good breakfast.

The check in was very quick and simple. We were able to get into the room a couple hours before the appointed time. It’s very useful to us since we have a wedding to stand that afternoon. The room is clean and the location is good.

This is a nice hotel (we stayed in five hotels in Italy on our trip and this was the nicest). The four person room had a loft and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast that was included was good and the staff that worked the breakfast were great. Being that Taormina is on a cliff, a lot of destinations require a walk up or down. It was about a ten minute walk to get to the majority of shops and restaurants which was not bad. My real issue with the hotel is the amenities they claim to have. On Expedia and booking they claim they have laundry services. Come to find out what they mean is they will give you directions to a nearby laundromat. This was a huge issue for us since we were there on Sunday and it was closed. They also say they have a shuttle service. You will soon learn that a taxi anywhere is a minimum of 20 euros. When we inquired about the shuttle they told us they only go to one specific beach. Fast forward a few days and we were finishing a boat tour. We inquired about the location of the beach the hotel named and were told it was right next door. We called the hotel and asked for the shuttle to get us at that beach and they said there was no shuttle! I’d definitely think again before booking here.

After rough day driving we were tired when we arrived. The place looked dated and we dragged our luggage down the stairs (Found the elevator later.). BUT, as our four day stay went on we came to enjoy the quirky ‘old world’ 1908 atmosphere. It became the BEST place we stayed in Sicily. Attentive staff at breakfast and at the bar in the evening. Rooms made up immaculately.

We had a room with a fantastic view of the water. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. Walkable to the central part of Taormina where there was tons of shopping and dining options. The property sits high so lots of steep walks and steps. But we were okay with that since you got rewarded with amazing views. Also walkable to Taormina bus terminal from where we took a direct bus to Catania airport. That was very convenient. The train station is not walking distance but you can take a taxi.

The town is all hillside levels. This property was walkable to main area of Taormina. Staff very good and helpful. Breakfast was a good variety and tasty assortment of pastries and cakes, breads etc. Very clean. Has the aesthetics of an old villa. We were in room 23 which opened to a big shared terrace with sea view. Room is small but it was fine. Very happy with my choice. Bus depot was walkable. I would recommend this hotel. There is no pool or restaurant on this property but location was great. Thank you!

In an amazing location, with a view of the sea and city and any cruise ships that happen by. Try and book a room on the upper floors for this great view. Breakfast is not to be believed! Best one we had in 3 weeks in Italy. And walking distance to the city center. Staff is fabulous too!

The room was charming and there was a lovely private patio area where we could appreciate the lovely view of Etna. Breakfast was delicious and the dining room had lovely views. A short walk uphill to central Taormina - bring comfortable shoes!

Beautiful views from the room. Great breakfast area with excellent options and great indoor and outdoor seating. Rooms were a bit outdated but clean. As long as you’re okay with a more bare bones room with older beds, bedspreads, old carpets in hallways than you’ll be okay. It was about a 10-15 minute walk from the main downtown area with shops and restaurants. Staying on the premise for a drink or breakfast was beautiful with the cliff side views and lemon trees on the property.
