A very helpful receptionist sorted out rooms on the same floor and car parking for the people transporting me around Belfast. This feels like a very upmarket hotel at basic chain prices with all the facilities anyone could want.

Great hotel would def stay there again

Be careful. They charge you for dinner even though you have a dinner bed and breakfast rate through hotels.com.

Nice clean room very comfortable there was a wedding downstairs but the noise didn’t keep me awake, good soundproofing.

A lovely evening dinner in the restaurant and the most amazing and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast with very pleasant and helpful staff in attendance. We will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Wonderful room

The hotel is well managed and has recently been fully renovated. Very friendly staff.

This is an excellent hotel in a green and pleasant redevelopment in central Belfast. Formerly the Radisson Blu, the rebrand and refresh have enlivened the hotel. The staff were wonderful.
However, the WiFi in the room was patchy at best, and the toilet was faulty. Both were minor things, but I suggest that there are a few glitches that need ironing. However, I enjoyed my staff and would book again.

Voco is a reasonable hotel to stay in. The room was nice to stay in but there weren’t very many facilities eg: swimming pool or any entertainment seemed to be geared to business people and not tourists. The breakfast was ok

For a recently refurbished hotel it was a bit disappointing. No seal on the bottom of the shower screen over the bath. Every time we had a shower the floor got soaked and was very slippy. Reported to reception the next morning but nothing was done about it.Sink area had a massive crack in it from a previous repair. The room itself was nice but don't expect a top quality breakfast. I'm just glad it was included in the price. £18.95 is a lot to pay for barely average cooked items. Cold food was fine and the coffee was excellent. I was going to book the Holiday Inn as I've stayed previously and it was excellent but thought it was worth giving this a go. I think next time I'll stick with what I know.

Modern, comfortable hotel which is well located for exploring Belfast. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety, and kids ate free which was a bonus! Only disappointments were housekeeping not providing enough towels (despite two requests), and the tv in our room not working. When I asked about the tv, I was told I had to ring an outside company myself (who weren't able to help either).

Lovely hotel with brilliant views of Belfast

Under construction and should not have been open. My bed, I discovered, after much discomfort, had no mattress. Dust everywhere

I was slightly worried after reading reviews that indicated the hotel was partway through a refurb. My stay started the day after the formal rebrand to Voco had happened, and I was really relieved to arrive to a really smart and modern reception and bar/restaurant. Similarly, the room was excellent - spacious and comfortable; my only qualm was with the shower, which was a bit weak, though I only flagged this when I left and the team took my concerns on board. The location was slightly further out of the city centre than I'd anticipated; you'll need to allow 10-15 mins to get to the City Hall for bus connections. But on the plus side, it wasn't far from the Botanic/Queens area and peaceful in the evenings for being a little removed from the hustle. Overall I had a lovely stay in Belfast - thank you Voco team for being part of that!

Two problems no fridge in the room and the bar closed

Very disappointing. Room was cramped, dusty and unpleasant overall. Bathroom was dirty, shower filthy. Corridor was very dirty, looked like it hadn’t seen a hoover in weeks.
Staff, particularly the manager on duty showed little concern for my complaint.
Fully appreciate the hotel is going through refurbishment but it’s not acceptable to continue to charge premium pricing (€200/night) during this time. Lobby is largely refurbed so I’m sure will be a nice hotel in time.
Only positive was the lovely staff at breakfast

The staff were most helpful. The property is in a re-building stage with limited access and dining facillities.

Room was perfect we enjoyed alot there was construction going on was bit noisy , bedsheets were not changed daily ,
Good environment though

Hotel is under repair. Some floors have been updated others have not. It’s generally clean but overall some mess with the current construction. The bathroom in our room had mold in the shower door and in the corner of the floor tiles and housekeeping left the shower plug on the tub edge that was full of hair which was unfortunate but the staff was great. Cain was amazing!!

The cleanliness of the bathroom was disgusting.. Human hair blocking tge bath and sink which caused it to fill up unnecessarily.. Just absolutely disgusting and ruined the evening

A once-good hotel undergoing refurbishment - not told that in advance nor offered price reduction. Staff were lovely, especially dining room. Room nice; complementary coffee sachets not topped up, twice.
Location: in a business area, access to city by car or on foot via river walk.
Food:
Dinner: ok but menu limited, with no 'small bite' options xc Caesar salad from starter menu. Chips not very crisp, but fish batter was crisp so we know they can do it.
Breakfast: good choice, quality varied - bacon often dry, overbaked; boiled eggs cold or lukewarm some days, no marmalade! Bread: 'supermarket'-style packet white or brown, or v. heavy artisan bread - no rolls, no fresh-baked options. Coffee: poor quality - instant.

There is no refrigerator in the room and there are a painting, the hotel, too much noise and under the café. It’s not that good. There is nothing in it but the place of the hotel is very very good.

Electricity card holder kept tripping out after 5 minutes. Lights going out every 5 minutes so had to go and reinsert every 5 minutes. Not good when you’re trying to shower or shave.
Bath/Shower converter didn’t work so only option was a shower.

Well positioned, slightly away from centre but very walkable to everything.

Although we knew the hotel was under renovation we didn't expect to be woken up by the building contractors banging so loudly. I assumed the room allocated would be away from the mains works but didn't appear to be.

The hotel is undergoing a major refurbishment and should not be open to the public.if the HSE visited this place would be closed down as is a disaster waiting to happen.
This is not a hotel but a building site and so should not be trading.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, including Dagmar the bar maid. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment hence the 3star for facilities, however the place is spotless. We were given room 407 and it was spacious and perfect. Breakfast was very good with a vast range of choices all freshly cooked. Breakfast staff were also very good, keeping everything clean and replenished. Thank you gasworks we look forward to coming back to see the updated refurbishments.

Property under refurbishment at the moment which wasn't mentioned. It will be lovely when finished

Dirty room, including mold in the bathroom. Stained sheets and uncomfortable bed. Hot water did not work one morning. Much of the breakfast was stale and the room service food for dinner was almost inedible.
Not in a great location but a ~15 minute walk into central Belfast.
The hotel is badly in need of renovation. In fairness, it looks like the hotel is being progressively renovated so hopefully the new rooms are better.
As a positive, the staff were lovely.
A disappointing stay for what was a relatively expensive hotel.

The staff were exceptionally pleasant. The taps in the bathroom leaked.
There seemed to be a shortage of staff on in the evenings

Clean and modern, changing to an IHG hotel soon.

A lot of the hotels facilities (bar/restaurant) were closed and the hotel is allegedly been refurbished. I say allegedly because during our stay I didn’t see any evidence of actual work being carried out.
The corridor to the bedroom was filthy. At no stage did Hotels.com inform us that the hotel was being refurbished.

I loved the room, overlooking a great view outside.
Welcoming staff. Good selection of breakfast.
Some parts of the bath could do with updating but otherwise love it enough to return.

We arrived and due to refurbishment we weren’t able to sit in the hotel bar. This was not advertised before our arrival. Our first room was tired and dusty and it did not look like the pictures that represented it on Hotels.com.
I’m fairness to Gasworks they arranged another hotel suite for us and it was clear to us that the whole establishment is coming through some thorough renovations however the cleanliness in/around the rooms was still questionable, possibly due to the renovations.

I liked how quiet it was but the tv never worked and both rooms for the same price were significantly different in quality and space, one was better, one was worse.
