Great hotel with really unique character. Friendly staff and really relaxing atmosphere. No air conditioning but having a fan in the room solved the issue. Would definitely come back to this town and Golf hotel.

Its a decent 4 star hotel with exceptional service . Very quite and relaxing. The rooms facing the valley and mountains are the best for views. Its well priced. Plenty of parking. Basic gym with sauna. No complains.

We were given a room that was black a small balcony the heating came on at midnight so had to keep the door open the bath was so awkward to get in as glass screen was rigid I actually hurt my back asked to be moved and then got a 100 euro bill for an upgrade

Easy access to everything. Staff is amazing. Best breakfast in the city.

A great location 5 minutes walk to the ski lift, then 22 minutes to Meribel and access to the entire Trois Vallees. A superb breakfast buffet to set you up for the day. Staff friendly and helpful

It was a well run hotel with friendly staff, about 5 minutes from the telecabin.

All good thanks

Great hotel for our ski holidays, gondola 5min walk from hotel and takes you up to Meribel village in about 20min where you can take another gondola to the slopes.
Hotel staff is very friendly, amazing views from hotel, definitely coming back to this place and hotel.

Wonderful hotel! Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast served, and hotel rooms were very nice! I would definitely stay here again

We stayed there while using the gondola to access Meribel
Ten min walkt gondola
Room clean , mattress very good but the main thing to highlight was how helpful all the staff were not just to us but to anyone who was in the lobby
Went out of there way to help book us restaurants as there’s was fully booked and just in general a warm and welcoming manner

We stayed in the family suite and the room was great. It posted it as 800 square ft, which it certainly was not, but had an amazing balcony. That itself was probably 200 square feet so maybe included that in total perhaps.
Lots of great things around the hotel and wife found a great morning run right from the hotel. Would stay there again for sure

Super smart and super cost effective for ski, just gotta get the gondola, town is cute

Quality hotel. Modern rooms and bathrooms. Value for money if you're there to ski 3 valleys. Friendly staff. But limited staff presence at front desk. No overnights staff.

Lovely hotel in great location. Dinner options limited for vegetarians. Gréât stay.

The room was very small and small double bed. The bath room was for disabled use and just large shower area made the floor wet everywhere. We liked the breakfast in the dining room. It was very nice.

Friendly staff, good food and fantastic location. A short walk to the ski lift into Meribel. Safe & free parking. The cavern bar was a great find and showed the six nations rugby and premier league football in the evenings. For a ski resort it was fantastic value.
2.0
Great location if you have a car, not so great if you plan to apres ski. The lift down from Meribel ends at 5pm but there is a free bus later on Tuesdays.

Breakfast is varied and hearty. New sauna in basement. Cosy bar with fireplace. Short walk to the gondola and centre of town.

Great staff, good location, property is very nice and within walking distance of gondola and town

Lovely 4 night stay. Great rooms, friendly staff and the breakfast & dinners were fabulous. Definitely recommend the restaurant for evening meals - absolutely wonderful.
8.0
Picturesque location, pretty hotel, room clean, comfortable and functional - 10 min walk to a gondola lift that takes 25mins to drop you into the centre of meribel via three intermediate stations (you stay on). Plenty of food options available in brides les bains and spar 5 min walk from hotel. Nice apres ski bar in hotel - though you would not go to brides les bains if you were after apres ski. Great food in restaurant (jan 19 set menu 3 courses €30) staff could not be more helpful. Nice sized sauna for after skiing. Excellent cost effective way to ski in the Trois Vallées...

Excellent hotel, food, rooms, staff. Just a gondola ride to the snow.

Pros: good breakfast, value for money, good location.
Cons: some rooms are pretty dated.

hotel is gorgeous and the room was lovely and clean. The cleaners were fantastic and came in every day to make up the room. Its a shame i can not say the same anout the manager or the female receptionist. Upon checkout this morning i was made to pay an extra £150 for Bed & BREAKFAST that i had not even booked. I was told that i had to pay it and if i had a problem to take it up with Expedia. What happened to good customer service? After 40 minutes of speaking with the receptionist who kept going off to speak to her manager (who was in the hotel) i asked if i could speak to him myself - of which she went and got him and he came out shouting at me and didnt even give me a chance to speak!!!If i didnt have a flight to catch i would have had the time to sit there and argue however he was not about to budge. I would have happily paid for the extra cost for breakfast if i was told that i would be charged for it and i could have used the service - however we went out every morning and bought breakfast ourself! To be shouted at by the manager of the hotel was absolutely disgraceful - i was coming back with my 3 year old son in September this year and was going to stay here, however i will now avoid this place and hopefullt ensure many other people rethink their visit!!This holiday we done on a budget, some time away without my son, we dont have a lot of money and therefore didnt select breakfast (additional €15 euros each)

Hotel booked for a long weekend ski trip was good but not great. Ski room and sauna only had external access and there was no jacuzzi or pool on site (you have access to one at another hotel). Our complimentary water was only replenished when asked for and the restaurant although very nice was too pricey to eat at every night. Staff were friendly and no major issues but I would think twice before booking again.

All the areas of the hotel we saw seemed to have been refurbished recently, so it was all in great state. Breakfast is a major plus, with enough variety to cater every diet and fully charge for a day on the mountains. Less than 10 minutes walk to the nearest lift taking you all the way to Meribel.

enjoyable and friendly. Excellent staff, good food

We were greeted warmly on arrival and upgraded to a room with a balcony and a fabulous view towards the snow covered mountain. The room was comfortable and quiet. As this is a spa town there was a healthy option to all the menus, but we stayed with the other and enjoyed an appetising meal. We took advantage of the hot tub, part of the wellness suite, which was free to enter.

Stayed here for three nights this week and would happily recommend it to anyone else.
The staff were particularly helpful and friendly.
The only two small negatives were that the buffet breakfast was a little inconsistent from morning to morning and the lighting on the corridor of the floor on which we stayed was 'meagre'. But apart from that the hotel was excellent.

The Golf Hotel is a lovely looking building not far from the main ski lift (250m and 10 min walk) with a lift direct down to the small, but very attractive town. The ski lift took 25 minutes from Brides Les Bains, but arrived straight into the heart of Meribel's ski lifts (a short walk from all the major ski lifts). This meant that one only required to walk for 10 mins. Note: for 5 Euros a day, there are ski lockers at the bottom of the lift which is very useful.
The hotel facilities were well maintained with an attractive bar, restaurant and a nice steam room/ hot tub area. The rooms themselves were clean, nicely decorated and of a reasonable size. We had a disabled room which was slightly annoying as the floor tiles got easily wet. I had requested an upper floor with 2 rooms together, but we got the 1st floor with rooms at either end- not great with youngish kids. The double bed in our room was very small even though the room was large enough to accommodate far bigger. The hotel was warm and welcoming. The staff were excellent.
The food was dietetic and of good quality. However, my niece is a vegetarian and, on the first night the cook substituted meet with a single leek. Also, the quantities were quite small for my growing nephew. We pointed this out to the staff and subsequent vegetarian options were commendable and quantities were upped for my nephew. Overall, excellent service and, again, excellent quality. The dining room was also lovely.
Overall, I would recommend.
