Had an excellent stay at this Hotel
4th time we have stayed
Close enough to the city centre so as to walk if necessary
1.0
The shower in our room was terrible. It barely dribbled out of the shower head and was very difficult to set the temperature as it kept fluctuating between red hot and freezing cold.
2.0
Water didn’t drain properly when having a shower. Room was noisy from extractor fan.
1.0
Outdated decor in rooms. Bed very hard and uncomfortable, pillows rock hard also. Slept very little due to beds. Breakfast cold and looked dried up.
2.0
Overall lovely stay, however, I left my fire stick remote control in the room and they weren’t able to locate it
2.5
Mother and daughter visiting the University of East Anglia open day. Fun location with a room overlooking the football pitch, and a short walk into the city centre. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Good find.

Delightful young lady on reception in the afternoon Made us welcome. Explained how to find lift, and where to find the restaurant. Booked us a taxi for our evening out. She was still on duty when we returned that night, and at breakfast next day. Still friendly and cheerful. Friendly staff on duty in the restaurant at breakfast.

Rooms need updating but comfortable and clean . Staff very nice . Should be free parking

Nice view friendly staff

Room smelt musty and a smell of dog which was not very pleasant. Beds were small doubles. Lots of noise from outside.

Room: Stadium-facing gave us VIP seats to NCFC Women's derby Vs Ipswich. A positively electric game! Clean well sized room for 2 adults and 2 child. Good A/C kept temperature comfortable and cool. Very comfortable beds had both soft and medium pillows to satisfy everyone. Kalina was our housekeeper and she was so lovely and kind & helped us with some extra coffee and biscuits 😊.
Bathroom: clean and well maintained. Be mindful to follow the instructions for bath mat and shower door so you don't slip when exiting.
Hotel: Staff by far was the highlight of the stay. We had brilliant interactions with everyone we met starting with arrival when Monica and Tatyana greeted us with big smiles and hospitality. We got to know Connor and Cezary and chatted about local activities/ places to dine / beaches to go to. We had very special chats with Bill (on hotel management) who went above and beyond to make our stay special and ensuring we have a great holiday. Thank you, Bill 🙂!
Location: an easy 8-min walk to rail station & 25-min walk into city centre. Major shopping area 4-min walk from hotel including a large Morrisons and Starbucks.
If you're visiting Norwich - don't waste time or money on other hotels. This is a clear winner. Thank you 😊 for a brilliant and relaxing few days -- we will return!

Excellent all round

Nothing wrong with the room in terms of cleanliness or things working but we ordered a cot and it came without a mattress so it was just bare panels at the bottom. My toddler slept in bed with me as a result. Breakfast room was outrageously hot.
4.0
Bit away from city centre but calm and quiet.

We stayed for one night whilst visiting Norwich. The location of the hotel was good, being close to the city centre. Unfortunately the rooms feel tired & the hotel decor once away from the Ground floor feels 20+ years old. Functional would be the word I would use. In addition we had a toilet that wouldn't flush.

The stay was fine but there was an unpleasant smell when we first opened the door into the en-suite bathroom. The sink in the shower gurgled from time to time. The drain would seem to need attention.

we stayed here for a short stay visiting family in Norwich. right from when we first arrived it was clean and staff friendly and helpful. the lifts were quick and we never had to wait for long. The breakfast which was included in cost of stay was lovely and fresh and a variety of cooked and continental breakfast options available. very friendly atmosphere at this hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, shower in bathroom was efficient and not fixed head shower like most hotels. Bath seemed very long! altogether a pleasant stay near the centre of Norwich which was close by Morrisons and Riverside entertainment complex (a 3 minute walk). Very near train station too where we caught a bus into the city centre. Lovely stay.

We enjoyed our stay although we were not happy with the limited dinner options which was included in our booking.

Very nice staff and a good location for town and football club.
Rooms a bit dated UBS sockets do not work

The hotel was lovely to stay at. Would probably stay there again in the future.

The hotel is reasonably well located. 15 minutes walk from the old city center. The staff is great always ready to help. The room was large enough but the infrastructure is a bit old. The loo had some problems with the amount of running water to clean itself mostly due to the infrastructure is rather old. It lacks charging points for digital phones and computers. However the hotel is fine and good value for money.

Really up to date public areas. Requested a fridge for our room and staff were so helpful. Pillows weren’t the best, but the room and facilities amazing. I’m a coeliac but ate dinner in their restaurant the 2nd night and really good. The chef came out to speak with me personally and dinner was good, very expensive but nice

Great stay however no charging points in room for phones / laptop. No hot water in bathroom sink but bath water was hot. Slightly dated but very clean.

What a great hotel. The food was amazing. Breakfast is well organised and lots of options, including vegetarian. Kids 12 and under ate free - which saved us so much money. The staff were friendly and spoke to our children to make them feel included. The rooms (we had 317) were lovely - only issue was the shower - still hot and functional - but more water poured out of the back of the shower head than the shower itself. But that was the only negative for the whole weekend. We will definitely be booking again!

Good hotel near city center
Breakfast was really good.

Big and corporate hotel. Fine if you are wanting to watch Norwich City FC but otherwise best avoided. Big but soulless rooms. Basic breakfast. Expensive.
2.5
Really lovely hotel. Very clean and great food. We were really surprised and delighted to discover our room overlooked the football ground.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The breakfast choices were very good, and the quality of the food was excellent. (It was also a very welcome change to see veggie sausages on the buffet rather than having to ask for them!). Reception, food service and housekeeping staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. We’re sure we’ll be back.

Nice stay for a family of four. After lots of travelling we wanted somewhere roomy and comfortable for a good night sleep. Beds were great, travel cot was fine and the room was clean. Only issue was contacting the hotel to confirm we had a cot ready for us...kept saying we cant guarantee but that seems ridiculous if asking in advance.

Lovely, clean and massive room. Great bed and nice and cool (It’s been like Hades on an evening in Norwich recently!!). Plenty power sockets Nice big desk to do my work at. Lovely clean bathroom. Fantastic.

Absolutely amazing stay.
Me and my partner had booked for the lionesses game, and we were so pleased we got a room with a view onto the pitch, so we could watch them warm up and all of the prep for the game, as well as their training session after the game.
The bed was big and comfy and the room was well stocked and clean. Very much recommended.
2.5
Lovely hotel, excellent friendly staff who were very accommodating. Room was comfortable with all amenities to be expected. View over the football pitch was interesting to see the groundskeepers working and a view across to the city. Food at breakfast and dinner was better than expected, nothing was too much trouble. parking is a little walk away but that wasn't a hardship. Small playground across the road, bus stops close by to get around and a Morrisons just round the corner for any forgotten items.

Lovely hotel, perfectly located for Norwich city, a lovely walk along the riverside.

Will definitely return.

Air conditioning in room was very poor it didn’t work very well in the night. The only reason I booked this hotel was because of air conditioning stated on hotels.com.
