I received a fresh, light, and well presented large double room with a nice TV, fridge, and an equally clean and fresh ensuite bathroom

I have never encountered such terrible service. I booked the hotel online, and when my colleague went to check in, he realized he had forgotten to bring his ID and credit card. After registering with a photo of his ID, he was told that a physical card was required to pay the deposit—bank transfers, cash, or Apple Pay were not accepted. Without a physical card, he would not be allowed to stay. It was already 11 PM, and we couldn’t go back to retrieve the card or find another hotel. My colleague, who doesn’t speak English well, didn’t know what to do. He pleaded for an alternative solution, but the Indian female staff member coldly refused, simply stating that if he couldn’t provide a card, he had to leave, and then ignored his further inquiries. She even shouted at him, “You must have a physical card. If not, leave!” before walking away.
Later, a male staff member came over and suggested asking a nearby friend to help pay, which finally resolved the issue. Travelers can often face unexpected situations, such as forgetting or losing their documents. This female staff member perfectly exemplified someone lacking patience, service awareness, and even basic human empathy. She is truly unfit for this job and has brought shame to her hotel!

Hotel room was not ready at 8 30 pm said it needed cleaning. Made me pay £100 deposit which is not returned to my bank till 7 working days .lucky that then sent us to a different sister hotel witch was better.hope the £100 get returned in 7 working days . please avoid this hotel.

Worst experience ever staying at a hotel. Bed was terrible needs a new mattress. People living in the hotel with kids running wild far to much noise . Avoid at all cost better to spend a bit more for somewhere else. Also they make you pay a £100 fee in case of any damages but hold on to the money for a week,

Bathroom door couldn't close or lock. Room and bathroom was clean. Receptionist lady was nice. There was security at entrance, otherwise the hotel wouldn't seem safe. I'm guessing the hotel is also being used as temporary accommodation for people waiting for a house or could be asylum seekers waiting for permanent accommodation. (I could be wrong).

I booked different room but staff gave me average room and in email they mentioned you pay £50 deposit but they changed me £100 totally different to what they show to people on website

The reception is awful, the advertising is misleading, there is no restaurant or dinner service, the hotel is very dirty, the room is boxes small 45cm width windows and only the top window can be open, no curtain so woken up early no tea and coffe available in the room . Fir the price you can gind better hotel. NOT recommend and after 3 days still still vaiting for the refund of my deposite

As soon as I was checking in greeted with reception having an argument with customers.on my booking had breakfast included but get told I cannot have any as they have decided to close. I showed evidence and the manager decided to delete my email. Very rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend to anyone. Broken lights in the room and no fans. Or tea or coffee in room but there was a kettle. Customer service does not exist. You will be lucky to get a smile. Minus 5 stars and that’s generous. I contacted Expedia who said would get back to me via chat but have not had a word from you. Shocking and bad.

When we arrived we were told we would be staying im the sister hotel,which was a few mins drive away. The staff in the sister hotel were very polite and checked us in quickly.
Our room was standard and smelt clean but the carpet dressing table and walls were covered in marks and stains,which is not what you expect to see. It needs decorating and updating.
Location was ideal for where we were going

I’ve been working and staying in ilford for many years and this hotel is Getting dirtier and dirtier every time we go used to be a clean hotel really dirty rooms no clean towels on 1 night showers rubbish bins not emptied reception service is non existent the worst in ilford at the moment

We arrived 09/10 at 1.45pm and was told that we could park at the front, no problem. We got to our room which had a strange smell, no head board, pillows as thin as tissue and a mousetrap clearly positioned at the foot of the bed. The next morning, Sunday 10/10, we was awoken at 8am buy staff telling us we must move our car as the builders were here to do work!!
Let’s just say we won’t be booking there again

On arrival at Park hotel I was told we are full but we have secured another room for you in our sister hotel called "Britannia Hotel". I was also told its a 3 Star hotel and its better than here. I arrived at Britannia Hotel there was no parking which I had requested with the booking. The rude and unhelpful woman in the reception said park on the yellow line and move your car before 8a.m and park in front of the hotel when the other guests have left. The mattress was very simply the worst mattress I have ever slept on.

This hotel is full of homeless and the the roof of the room had damp stains, they tried to move us to another room and same again poor cleanliness. Carpets had passed there best 5 years ago. Heater on the wall never been cleaned . Never been to a hotel as bad as this before. They even took £50 pounds as a security, then told me they would refund within 3-14 days

Avoid this hotel. It’s cheap so it’s service. Unprofessional staff , filthy everywhere, worst breakfast experience. Beds were bad with flat pillows, tiny rooms you name it. Overall bad experience and never ever again. Most worrying thing is rooms might have hidden cams.

Well where do I start………
At arriving at the hotel (if you can call it that) we went in and the receptionist didn’t speak a word of English so checking in was horrendous then we went to London to watch a football match and was told the room would be ready when we returned, so got back about 8pm the new receptionist knew nothing about this so had to wait for this to be sorted and the receptionist asked for my receipt which I provided and he said ok your room is number 25, so we went off to check in.
Omg 😱 opening the door the smell was mouldy water and eggy in the en-suite, the bedding had holes in, there was a massive burn mark on the floor wallpaper peeling off everywhere, but it was the smell that stopped us even going in the bathroom.
Also there was 1 little cup in the room and 2 tea bags I went to the desk and asked for 3 more cups as there was 4 of us and was told they had no more cups so we had one tiny one between us.
Then breakfast 🙈🙈🙈🙈 again no English I went and asked for toast and got given a plate asked for eggs and given a plate lol, there was sausages, beans and hash browns in a hot plate and that was it, then I spoke to a other member of the kitchen and asked for 2 poached eggs and was given 2 eggs with shells still on, I can safely say I won’t be returning.

AVOID THIS PLACE
It’s been 10 days and they still haven’t refunded my deposit despite me leaving the room immaculate. They keep fobbing me off . They said 3-7 days then 10 days and now saying 14 days! What kind of an establishment does this. Breakfast - there was nothing really . Well nothing left. Couldn’t even get juice. Room was ok apart from the questionable stains up the ceiling and rotten carpet.
I want my refund back now please? Sick of phoning and emailing .

Omg where to start the place should be closed down it’s disgusting rooms are filthy with mouse traps in them carpets and walls filthy beds and pillows are so old I got bitten all over my body by something it’s mainly full of homeless people I would highly recommend staying away from here

Even though I have booked with free parking and they have place to park, hotel didno allow me to park at the back. Daining facilities are poor, No Fan in the room, Fernitures are to old, Staff dont know how to communicate.

Could do with some renovation, particularly the furniture, but one mustn't forget this is a budget hotel. It does what it says on the package - good value for money. It's clean and within walking distance from Ilford station. Kudos to the staff who were friendly and very helpful.
