I was there for a wedding, so I didn't spend a ton of time at Estrella. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and coffee was better than expected (I have high standards, so no shade to Estrella). It does seem like a place where you can chill, that is just not what I was there for. Also, they have a iron/steamer if you ask!

A spacious room next to a courtyard with a helpful staff. The view both at night and during the daytime from the rooftop deck is fantastic. Sadly a cloudy day obscured the view of the volcanoes. Property is within walking distance of all of Cholula's main attractions. They do serve a very good breakfast in their attractive courtyard near the front desk, but it is a little difficult to understand from their hotel book in the room and website exactly how it works. Talk to the staff to clarify that. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Very nice hospitality of the staffs. Check in was smooth, we got the doubled beds room and it was spotless. I tried the massage and it was very excellent with a very reasonable price. Easy to walk to the pyramid, churches , and shopping. Highly recommend this hotel!

Easily one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed at! Room was lovely and spacious. The grounds were serene and the staff was so incredibly nice and helpful. Had an amazing stay there! Highly recommend it!

Excellent location for visiting Cholula pyramid tunnel system, Museums, Church, zocalo, shopping, restaurants everything. Hotel is unique. Service is excellent. Room, bath, linen all spotless clean. Food is above and beyond expectations.

This hotel is top quality in all aspects. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. Rooms are nicely decorated. Quiet area and close to the pyramid and within 5 minutes walk to the main plaza. However, the main reason you should stay at this hotel is the breakfast included. They have up to 9 different main items o choose from the night before and the taste and presentation of it are top notch . It comes with bread, yogurt, juice and hot drinks. I had meals I had never experience before and believe me they were off the charts.

I cannot thank the staff enough. I had known about this property for years since my parents stayed but this was my first time. My fiancee and I have never experienced such great service! They also had a bottle of champagne and flowers to commemorate the moment. You must stay here!!

Estrella de Belem is one of the most beautiful small hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms are gorgeous. The service is impeccable. It is our second time staying there. We feel that it is like a second home- we’re so comfortable there. The breakfasts are outstanding and are included with the reservation.

We recently stayed at the boutique hotel Estrella de Belem in Cholula, Puebla, and my family and I were wowed by the uniqueness of the place as well as the excellent all-around service provided by the staff. From the moment that we walked in, the feeling was a good one. Saying that this hotel is beautiful is an understatement. It has an old design with a modern feel. The decor is fantastic, and most importantly, the entire place is clean and quiet. The pool area is not very large, but it is beautiful, and it has a great view of Our Lady of Remedies Church located on a fantastic nearby hill. The hotel is very close to most of the"things to see in Cholula." You can walk to the archeological center, museums, churches, El Zocalo, shops, cafes, restaurants (including a vegan restaurant), the train, and so much more! The staff is helpful, friendly, cordial, professional, and hospitable (especially Gabriela). The breakfast at this hotel is delicious; the bread is baked in-house. Everything about the experience will feel like high quality. My sister has worked for a well-known worldwide hotel organization, and she was impressed by Estrella de Belem. She wants to go back and bring her husband. After checking out, we received a thank you email from the hotel. If you visit Cholula, Puebla, this is the place where you will want to stay. We certainly will.

We just returned from 6 days at the Estrella de Belem. It is a beautiful former home. Our room was gorgeous, the bathroom was grand and spotless. Our stay came with a daily breakfast which was next level. Fresh juice, coffee, danish, fruit kebabs with chocolate sauce, yogurt with granola, then a main course. Breakfast was our main meal of the day. It was elegantly served and delicious.The service and attention to detail was fabulous. There is a small rooftop pool which my daughter enjoyed in the late afternoons. Within minutes of her going to the pool, someone would arrive with towels.The hotel is well located. We can’t say enough good things about this hotel. When we first arrived, there was loud music coming from a nearby club. We were concerned that we weren’t going to be able to sleep. The hotel’s manager took our complaint seriously and lodged a complaint with the club The noise was no longer a problem. 6/5

If you're staying in Cholula this is the place to be. You are a five-minute walk to the pyramid, a 10-minute walk to the truly lovely museum. You are steps away from numerous restaurants. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are big and comfortable, the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. There is a rooftop terrace with a pool and spa and amazing view of the city. The breakfast is delicious and served with amazing elegance - the servers are in jackets and ties! This is our go-to place in Cholula.

This was such a treat! This is a spa-like hotel in the middle of Cholula and is one of the most beautiful B & B's we've stayed at. The owner was gracious and chatted with us when we first arrived. We filled out a Breakfast request menu which was a little confusing at the start, but I finally figured out. The room was so airy, spacious and beautiful! The grounds are green and so lovely; they did a fabulous job restoring this B & B from whatever it was before. There is a gorgeous view from the rooftop and a pool was up there too! My only regret is we only stayed one night; would have loved a few more and to take advantage of their spa services. All in all an highly recommended accommodation at a great price!

We stayed only one night...not enough. A wonderful small boutique hotel. Looks pleasant from the outside but it somehow hides what is a very relaxed but luxurious hotel inside. Wonderful staff, great breakfast with a lengthy menu of local cuisine...one selects the night before. We showed up unannounced hours before the 3 pm checkin time and were welcomed without hesitation.

Where to start?? mmm, if you do not like to read long reviews let me try my best... BOOKT IT!!!! this is what is called now a boutique hotel, to call this hotel "4-star historic bed & breakfast" is like calling a luxury brand new car an "appliance"...or a wagon... or... you got the idea, this is at least a 5 star-gran turismo, hotel, the staff; Angeles: Cleaning, Sergio, Roberto and Carlos: This guys will help you from check-in to room service and all in between with the BEST attitude you can find EVER!!!!!! and Chef: Alfonso ( his cuisine is outstanding), a being in resorts and hotels 5 times more expensive and the closest i can remember is the 4 seasons in Santa Fe, new mexico, and even there, service is probably short against this one.
